Karma is panting as this round opens, being slightly intimidated from having to face a fresh Flygon. Flygon, on the other hand, sees absolutely no threat from the exhausted Kecleon standing in front of him. Karma tries to damage his foe by summoning a massive Blizzard... but Flygon has other plans. While Karma tries to bend the will of the winter weather to his own purposes, Flygon whips up a localized whirlwind of his own and spits a stream of fire into it. Karma calls his Blizzard forth and Flygon sends out his firestorm... the two keep their attacks up as long as possible, neither budging: the stronger Blizzard isn't making any headway against the fire, but by the same token, the flaming Gust is hard-pressed to do naught but deflect the Blizzard. Eventually, the strain proves too much as Karma falls over. Flygon calls off his attack as Razor Leaf returns his fallen partner, replacing him with a solemn Solrock. Ok Dawn, this should be no problem consdiering how many battles you've had. Whip up a Fire Spin to surround yourself and keep Flygon off your back. ~Round 37... go!~
With both Pokemon in tip-top shape, this match gets off to a quick start. Anemos begins by darting almost faster than the eye can follow at ra, glowing a faint green: suddenly, a multitude of tiny green orbs appear on Ra's rocky skin. The orbs fly away and sink into Aemos right as he slams, headfirst, into the Solrock. The Quick Attack doesn't do much, but Ra finds itself weakened from the Giga Drain. (-10% HP Ra, -7% EN Anemos) Unbeknownst to Anemos, however, Ra had been charging up some fire energy. Remembering his trainer's commands to shield itself with the Fire Spin, Ra spins around in a circle, breathing a steady stream of flames. The Fire Spin forms a circle around the Solrock and forces Anemos to step back, even though he's not terribly hurt from the attack. (-2% HP Anemos, -4% EN Ra)
Anemos eyes the fire warily. Being a dragon, he's naturally resistant to fire, but nobody really likes having to pass through fire anyway. He sighs and decides to bite the bullet. With a moment of focusing his energy, Anemos' tail takes on a metallic sheen, and he charges through the flames. The fire licks at him and takes off a little of the iron tail's power... but the real kicker is what happens next. From out of nowhere, the world turns upside down and begins to twist in front of the poor Flygon. He cries out in shock and, not surprisingly, manages to miss his target in the resulting confusion. He flies past Ra and skids to the ground, dazed and slightly pained. (-5% HP Anemos, -8% EN Anemos, -4% EN Ra)
Anemos slowly gets back to his feet and groans, holding his head. However, this is no time for rest as Ra glows a sinister blue. Without warning, Anemos is unceremoniously shoved back through the fire and slammed into the ground. Anemos groans again and stands up, feeling the pain from the psychic in his head. ~Round 38... go!~
Anemos starts off this round dazed, and so he takes a moment to clear his head. Unfortunately, this gives Ra the opportunity it needs to summon the pwoers of the cosmos. From the other side of the firewall, Anemos can see Ra shimmer and glow, its body becoming more well protected as the Cosmic Power takes effect. (-5% EN Ra) Anemos, his head clear, doesn't care at the moment: he focuses momentarily as a multitude of tiny green orbs appear on ra's body. Ra is not surprised, the same thing happening earlier. The orbs leave Ra, leaving him feeling drained, and fly back to Anemos, recharging him at the same time. (-7% HP Ra, +4% HP Anemos, -5% EN Anemos)
Anemos smiles as the energy flows into him, then takes a few steps back, preparing to get a running start. As his tail adopts a metallic sheen, Anemos notes the sun beginning to shine brighter, the clouds in the sky dissipating. The flames surrounding Ra begin to look a little more vicious as well. Nevertheless, Anemos charges through the flames, ignoring the mild pain they inflict on him, and smack Ra with an Iron Tail that was weakened slightly. (-6% EN Ra, -2% HP Anemos, -7% EN Anemos, -8% HP Ra)
Anemos uses the momentum to rebound off of Ra and land back outside of the now-dying-down Fire Spin. However, as soon as he lands, a gigantic burst of flame flies forth from the Fire Spin's remains... Anemos panics and begins to beat his wings as hard as he can, creating a centralized whirlwind. The Gust manages to shave a little power from the Fire Blast, but the strength of the attack allows it to blow through the wind and strike Anemos. (-12% HP Anemos, -9% EN Ra, -3% EN Anemos)

I think 12% is far too much for fire blast. Flygons a ground type so fire attacks are weak, and even if sunny day was in effect it was still quite a lot. No point asking for edits, I don't usually go for that, but just bear it in mind in future. Or find a reasonable argument. Your choice

~Round 39... go!~
Ra begins the round in a particularly calm fashion... it's fitting, seeing as the Solrock is focusing his thoughts on a Calm Mind. However, before it can delve too deeply into its psyche, a horrible, grating screech reverberates throughout the arena. Ra's eyes spring open as it cringes. Anemos, on the other hand, looks perfectly calm - his wings scrape together in a manner befitting some horrible dungeon with a headless demon monster at the end, but he pays it no heed - instead, he just watches serenely as Ra groans, its concentration shattered. (-1% EN Ra, -3% EN Anemos)
Anemos grins and flies gently over to Ra, who is still reeling and trying to regain its focus. Ra shakes its head and glances up... right into a blast of turquoise flame. The dragon's fire surrounds Ra and sinks into its rocky skin... the Dragonbreath manages to induce paralysis in the Solrcok. However, that doesn't stop Ra, at least for a moment: the sun's rays seem to spiral into Ra's body for a few brief moments, and then suddenly a green ray bursts forth from the Solrock's body. The Solarbeam plows point-blank into Anemos, who is thrown back and unceremoniously lands on the ground. (-5% HP + paralysis Ra, -12% HP Anemos, -4% EN Anemos, -9% EN Ra)
Anemos slowly shakes his head as he climbs back to his feet. He focuses for a short moment, and his tail takes on a metallic shine. He trains his ever-watchful eyes on the Solrock in front of him and launches himself into the air. Anemos executes an aerial spin and lands hard on Ra tail-first, the Iron Tail attack causing extra damage due to Ra's rock type. With Dawn paralyzed and Anemos ordered to counterattack, this round is off to a very slow start. However, Dawn begins to glow a dull yellow, focusing the power of its paralysis. As it floats over to Anemos, gaining more and more speed, Dawn fails to notice two things: one, that Anemos' tail is glowing silver, and two, that Anemos is tensing up, ready to strike. As soon as the Solrock gets within range, Anemos performs a daring backflip, lashing Dawn with a metallic tail and sending it reeling. (-11% HP Dawn, -8% EN Anemos, -3% EN Dawn) Dawn recovers, but not quickly enough to finish its Facade.
Before Dawn can act again, Anemos crosses its arms and hovers a few feet from the ground. Mere seconds later, a set of five identical Flygon stand in a row facing Dawn. Dawn glances between them, slightly confused, before taking aim at the one on the far left and firing a burst of solar rays at it. the Solarbeam passes harmlessly through, dissipating the clone, but leaving Anemos himself unscathed. (-9% EN Dawn, -2% EN Anemos)
Anemos snickers and begins to glow a bright green: rays from the sun stream into his body as he collects energy for his devastating attack. Moments later, he finishes preparations and fires off a Solarbeam of his own, the lethal attack plowing through Dawn. ~Round 41... go!~
Anemos begins by beating his wings wildly and yelling a shrill cry. As if to answer, a stiff wind begins to pick up, carrying with it uncountable particles of sand. The wind becomes even more ferocious, whipping the sand this way and that. Before anyone knows it, a fierce sandstorm is raging underneath the glare of the sun. Obviously, it doesn't bother Anemos, but it doesn't really bother Dawn either - its Rock type helps it endure the storm. Dawn smirks slightly, because even the vision impairment isn't that big of a deal - utilizing its Psychic powers, Dawn has managed to find Anemos, even through the sand and the clones. (-6% EN Anemos, -7% EN Dawn)
Anemos then smirks to himself, unaware that his advantage in the sandstorm has been lost. He quickly fades away into invisibility, undeterred by the sand flying around, and rushes Dawn, slamming into it with a purple-energy-covered fist. Dawn shudders and inches back before starting to spew out a stream of fire. Dawn spins in a circle, spreading the fire in a circular path around it, and the fire alights upon the ground, forming a protective wall of flames that pushes Anemos away. However, the sand flying around hampers the fire's growth a little. (-7% HP Dawn, -2% HP Anemos, -4% EN Dawn, -5% EN Anemos)
Anemos shakes his head, seemingly unfazed by the fire. His tail adopts a metallic glint to it, and Anemos takes to the sky. Floating back a few feet, , he pulls his tail in front of him and dives at the awaiting Solrock. However, before he reaches Dawn, the around surrounding them both erupts with an inferno of vicious flames. Fire swirls around both Anemos and Dawn, but only Anemos seems to be affected by it... after what seems to be an eternity, the fire dies down, leaving only a scorched Anemos and a tired Dawn. Anemos moans weakly - his type advantage was negated due to the sun's continued presence. (-14% HP Anemos, -8% EN Anemos, -11% EN Ra)

Hmm energy's a bit low. I'm still raising an eyebrow over "his type advantage was negated due to the sun's continued presence". I feel as if the ground type would lower the damage done by a fire attack more than the sunny day would power up the damage. 14% seems very steep. In terms of energy consumption; remember Solrock isnt a fire type either so using those moves mightn't be as easy as if say a Magmar used them.
However we all know nitpicking doesn't move a match on. Dan, your turn.

Chris: Energy, yeah, I can see your point; it's a tricky little thing. As for the damage, the sun would have boosted it by about 2 points, and the resistance would have reduced it by about that much. Also, just so I can nitpick too, it's not Ground that's resistant to Fire; it's Dragon.
But grounds strong against fire....so fire is weak against ground types.
Anyway my comments in vain because you've been a fantastic ref so far. I think Dan will agree you've done a tremendous job with no lapse in quality or judgement as far as I can see. I hope we have you for a lot more of the match!

Anemos, very weak (anemic, if you will) at this point, begins to cough and hack rather nastily... a nasty fountain of purple sludge begins to emanate from his mouth, and he directs it towards his Solrock foe. The toxic ooze rips straight through the raging sandstorm, striking Dawn precisely. The toxins sink through the Solrock's rocky skin, badly poisoning it. Dawn scowls and turns its attention towards Anemos. Before Anemos knows what's happened, he feels an invisible force slam him into the ground. (-9% HP Anemos, -5% EN Anemos, -6% EN Dawn)
Anemos frowns and slowly picks himself back up. Drawing the last few remaining rays of sunlight streaming down, he begins to charge a beam of solar energy... but he simply doesn't have enough energy left. He fires off the paltry amount of energy he had collected, but it is scarcely enough to be an annoyance to the stoic Dawn. (-1% EN Anemos)

Also, just for your information... I wasn't sure how to do Supernova in terms of damage and energy, since Dawn was so low on it. So I took the starting point for Overheat and lowered it quite a bit (for the fire loss) and raised it a little (for the type advatage). I then added in the damage for Explosion, which still did a lot of damage despite the lack of energy. Just, you know, so you know.
I think it was reffed very well. Its a difficult attack since overheat is a projectile and explosion a close contact move, but I could see Solrock firing the overheat beam while sweeping into the foe and exploding. Crap Eriko, 22% down already?

With a flash of light (even though nobody can see where exactly due to the sandstorm), a chipper Illumise replaces the fallen Solrock. However, her enthusiasm is quickly diminished by the sand that rips and tears at her skin. Nonetheless, she focuses on where she thinks Eriko is and begins to spout a series of compliments, designed solely to inflate Eriko's ego. The Jynx can hear Serenity's comments despite the roaring sand, and her ego is indeed boosted. You know the old saying that if you hear something enough, you start to believe it? Well, it's certainly true in this case: Serenity's comments seem to have made Eriko more powerful. However, it seems to have also gone to her head: Eriko looks vaguely disoriented. However, this does not stop her from stumbling her way through the sandstorm to Serenity and planting a big, wet one on the bug. The hallucinogens in the saliva immediately send Serenity to sleep. (-2% EN Serenity, -3% EN Eriko)
