Newly approved and ready to spend some time...doing something. Anywho.

Guidelines:
1. 2 on 2 battle, one out at a time.
2. Only unevolved Pokemon and Pokemon who don't evolve are allowed.
3. Recovery moves such as Rest and Recover are not allowed.
4. I'll send out first, you attack first.
5. There will be a one week DQ.

Arena: A grassy knoll with several hidden holes that can cause a Pokemon to trip. I'm not very creative at the moment.

I will be sending out my Tauros, Appa, to begin with.

All right, Appa, let's show them what we've got! Let's Mimic the Zigzagoon's Thunder Wave attack for an equal playing field! Then, try a Body Slam followed by a Double Team!

Round 1:

Arena:

A grassy knoll with several hidden holes that can cause a Pokemon to trip. I'm not very creative at the moment.

Premiss

Together we stand on the field of battle, a grassy knoll, the referee of green, and the combatants. As the two females stare each other down, each one reaches for a pokeball. The match, a 2 one 2 game, the trainers, Bison Woes and Weasel Overlord. Bison is first to release her pokemon, and from the pokeball emerges a mighty tauros, male, but the name of Appa. The other glares at this opponent, and decides to go with another normal type, releasing a Zangoose, female, by the name of Romuyan.

Thunder Wave~Swords Dance~Brick Break

Commence Round 1!

Now that the pokemon and combatants are ready, all it takes are the attack orders for the pokemon to be at each others throats. Romuyan begins the battle, as the Zangoose emits a low wave of electrical energy, aiming to paralyze her bull opponent. Appa is not to be undone, as he stares at the attack, and begins to crudely miic the thunderwave, emmiting his own wave. Both attacks hit their mark(and with waves that widespread, its hard not to). Each pokemon reals as their bodies tense up in paralyzation.

Trying to shake off the effects, Appa makes effort to try and attack his advesary, only to feel his muscles lock up even more, preventing any mobility in the pokemon. Romuyan, however, doesnt experience this, as he pegins to glow, and a shiny, almosy blade-like barrier forms, encircling the zangoose, and raising attack and speed.

Now a bit more speedy, Romuyan rushes forward, gathering energy into her claw, trying to smash it down upon the stunned tauros' head, but this isnt to be, as the unlocked Tauros now splits itself into a collection of 5 tauros'(hmm, 1/6 of Ash's collection on the show). Romuyan brings down her fist, only to collide with nothing more than air as the round comes to a close.

Great job, Appa! Now, let's turn up the heat! Start off with a Facade since we've got a real reason to use it! However, should Zangoose use Protect, use a Rain Dance to bring on the rain! Let's show off your crazy moveset by using an Icy Wind to slow that Zangoose down. Then, use an Earthquake unless it's raining for a Thunder!

Hm, I'm not sure about Refresh. I was incredibly tempted to use it the first round (since Tuaros learns it in XD) after being paralyzed but wasn't sure if it was allowed. I did just ban Recover and Rest...how about Refresh is allowed one time this battle?

Round Two, Begin!

With the start of the second round of battle, we see one highly paralyzed Zangoose, and 4 Tauros, only 1 bearing the paralyzation ailment. And thus we're off, Appa starting the round off by charging with a status-powered charge of epic proportions. So what does Romuyan do? The same thing, after all, she's ailed by the same affliction. So two head-on charges meet, and the referee looks away only to hear a sickening thud, and a loud crunch. That cant be good, as both pokemon's momentum comes to a sickening halt. Turning back, we can see both pokemon on the ground, Zangoose rubbing a massive bumb on his head, and tauros, rising, starting to buck a little bit, a massive headache adding to his bodies trauma.

Now, in one of the weirdest moves this ref has ever witnessed(outside of a dragonite setting himself on fire and charging), Romuyan begins to shed her fur at a rapid pace, more and more hair falling, but this has a nice effect, lifting the curse of the paralysis off of her. Appa deciedes to help by speeding the process, casting a flurry of frozen wind towards the zangoose, whose fur goes flying off, and soon, so does the pokemon, getting sent back, shivering.

Romuyan now gets into a stance, ready to detect and prevent any oncoming attack, but it would seem no attack IS oncoming, as once again, Tauros' muscles lock up, and he is prevented from unleashing his furious attack. On the plus side, he still has his clones, and now that Romuyan has been knocked down, he has blended back in, or has he?

Le Trois Commence!

Bar oversized bumps on the head, both pokemon seemed geared for another round of action...Romuyan(who suprising IS A GIRL) charges the tauros, gathering energy in her claw to smash down upon what she thinks is the tauros, but turns out to be a protective barrier posted by the bull.

Jumping away, Romuyan looks at Appa, who starts performing the same move she had used last round, hishair falling from Appa's body, and with it, his paralysis....Romuyan decides to attack once again, jumping into the air, and kicking the side of the tauros not once, but twice. Appa buckles as he is sent flying in the other direction, his hair falling all on top of Romuyan, who is now red, white, and brown.

Now completely revealed, Appa's clones are not really there for any use, but they get blasted away by a widespread flamethrower sent forth by Appa, who strikes the oncoming Romuyan as she attempts to swipe him....her slash hitting only the edge of the bull's skin, producing a small cut. A charred Romuyan rises slowly and wipes all the charred remains of hair off of her as the round comes to a close.

Awesome, Appa! Let's kick this up a notch by starting off with a Horn Attack! Next, let's get the rain falling and the mud flying with a Rain Dance! After your Rain Dance, let's show that Zangoose what a Thunder attack is really made of! However, should Zangoose use a status ailment move, use a Protect to block it for any turn!

4 to begin.....

With what looks to be one of this ref's easier rounds, the fourth round commences as te multi-colored Romuyan burss out with a spew of toxic purple fluid, which comes crashing down on an invisible barrier, forming a small puddle surrounding the tauros.

Yet another invisible barrier is erected to combat a broad band of electrical waves sent with paralytical intent. Strain is evident on the tauros, this wasnt the round he had expected.

And once again, we se an invisible barrier resisting th epuddle of purple goo, but when the shield finally comes crashing down, Appa finds himself surrounded by an inescapable ring of toxic ooze.

All right Appa, don't worry about the goo! Just stand still and don't touch it! Fire an Ice Beam at the Zangoose as it prepares for a Mud Slap and let's see if we can't slow her down. She'll have to go through the toxic to get to you so keep an eye on her and give her a good Scary Face! Finish this off with your own Toxic at her as she's retreating!

Mud Slap~Quick Attack~Swift

Le quatre commence

After an interesting(not) last round, we find appa surrounded in purple goop, and Romuyan eagelry anticipating more attacks. Romuyan starts off by turning around, and scraping a bunch of mud behind her at the tauros. Not only is it effective in hitting the tauros, but it makes a feaseable bridge across the goop. For Romyuans troubles though, she recieves an icy beam right to the rear, and for the comic relief, receives a frozen butt.....

Now stick in a semi-bent over position, romuyan charges as fast as possible with a frozen rear, across the semi-bridge and smacks into the tauros, but her retreat is not fast enough, and Tauros glares at the Zangoose's rear.....how inneffective.....

Summoning a mass of heat seeking stars, Romuyan sends them after the tauros, who has launched a spew of purple fluids of her own....too bad there are no abilities here, as both attacks hit, and romuyan receives a poisenous infection. The only good part is the when she falls, her ice derriere cracks and breaks, leaving her to worry about just the poisen....

V for Vendetta.....commences...

With a now poisined Romuyan, this battle can only get more interesting.....the ref pulls out a green umbrella as Appa rears his head towards the skies, calling forth the rain clouds to bring on a torrent of water. Romuyan decides to take advantage of this and launch of super-charged thunderbolt, striking the bull with almighty intensity. Appa howls in pain, taking the electric shock as best as he can.

Now very frizzy and statically charged, Appa gathers the rain, and sends a gale of icy cold wind towards Romuyan, who in turn sends her own blizzard....its strength outlasting that of the icy wind, smacking the tauros, and sending him back outside his ringof toxin, avoiding any of it though thankfully...

having gotten nothing but blows from these past moves, Appa stomps hard on the ground, and thus a fissure forms, causing rocks to rise and surround the Zangoose, who is oddly glowing an off-color red.....the reason for this is revealed when the rocks launch away from Romuyan, several of them smacking Appa as the round comes to a close.

The sixth installment of this battle gets off to a confusing start, as both pokemon begin to blunder around like drunk fools in attempts to confuse the opponent...but as each one is diverting its attention....niether one feels any effect.

Zangoose now dissapears and instantly smacks the Tauros for minimal damage. Appa charges forward, and smacks Romuyan with his horns, doing fair damage.

And while Appa charges, juming into the air, Romyuan slashes at the lower half of the tauros, cuasing him to do a flip in the air and land hard on the ground, Romuyan taking her poisen damage for the round.

Not happy with the outcome of the previous round, the battered Tauros Appa rises, and faces the opponent, trying to gather his thoughts, and collect any energy used against him. He looks up to see Romuyan calling to him, lots of obscenities(including, "you're not a steer, you're a queer!") and making various rude hand gestures. This absolutely enrages the tauros, and he is unable to continue his attack, as all he wants to do is beat the living hell out of the zangoose.

So what does the tauros do, he runs over and smashes his hoof onto Romuyan, but this leg is the perfect lightning-rod for romuyans attack, as she releases an electric bolt of energy, sending shockwaves all-throughout the wet bull's body.

Having been sent back by the jolt, the bull shakes it off to see what appears to be multiple Romuyans. Well this cant be right, so he shakes his head, clearing his thoughts, and sure enough, there are multiple Romuyan's there, a production of Double Team. However, as it is raining, as rain hits each clone, they dissapear, and thus the bull is able to send forth his own bolt of electrical energy to smite Romuyan, but not quite, even though she does feel the effects of her intoxication...
