~V~V~V~V~ Not Buying it ~V~V~V~V~

Naomi came pacing back from the edge of the rooftop, shaking her head in frustration. “The crowd is getting bigger and bigger.” She sighed, as Keith remained incredibly close and protective of the new devil digimon. “Once the news cameras get a helicopter up in the air to see what is happening, we’re going to be in a lot of trouble.”

I crossed my arms angrily, sitting on the edge of the stairs, nearly fuming. Devil Digimon were bad news, no matter what the excuse. I sighed in frustration before turning back to the group, as I turned a hint of light, reflecting off of something caught my eye. “What is it?” Cubmon asked as I rose to my feet.

“Some one is watching us.” I replied, keeping my eyes on the glittering object.

Everyone’s attention turned toward me, some squinted into the direction I was looking in. “Honny maybe you should come sit down.” Mom said, in that sweet tone that only she could do.

I shot back a glare of annoyance. “I know I saw something coming from over there…” I pointed out, my words trailed off right before a shot rang out, a bullet slicing right into the side of the devil digimon’s arm.

“Get Down!” Someone screamed in the confusion, all around me the world swirled, I found myself thrown to the ground, and when everything seemed to come back, I found Warden on top of me. My heart began to race again, both from fear and excitement. “Are you okay?” He asked, I could only nod back, my cheeks flushed red.

After a few breaths reality began to settle back in. “You can get off now….if you want.” I said as Warden slowly climbed off. Down the stairs leading up to the roof of the building walked men wearing black armor and helmet gear. Like those that you see on those Police drama shows.

“Everyone stay down and you wont get hurt.” One of them announced, his eyes so blood shot red that they were visible through the helmet.

Warden rose to his feet stepping inbetween myself and the officers, blocking their path to the rest of the roof. “What do you plan to do?” He asked, the officer swung around striking Warden in the face and sending him sprawling to the ground. The hand from the officer had several large bloody foot long claws sticking out of it before slowly retracting.

“Devil Digimon..” Naomi said under her breath almost as if it were a swear. She rose from her feet and took a step forward only to have a sniper bullet ricochet just inches from her feet.

The Devil Policeman stepped past Warden and onto the roof as I crawled over to him. “We’re here to take all Digimon in your possession, if you resist, you will be shot.” The lead one announced. I glanced over at Naomi, and then at Keith, and everyone else. There was no way they were going to take Cubmon or any other Digimon.

But how could we fight when there is a sniper aiming at our heads?

Alright battle time and you guys can show off your new Blood Fusions if you like. But the Devil Digimon can try and possess anyone there, including Laura and Satoshi * Rei’s parents * and unsuspecting Digidestined. And Mystic if you want, feel free to get the sniper!
