Dark Sage versus Houndoom Lover (Ref: Kavvaelli)

Hello, HL. You might know me from Blademaster's RPG.

Anyway, I have a challenge for you: A two on two match!

We use four pokemon, but we each have two out at a time.

To make sure that there's no deliberate type advantage, we PM our first choices to the ref. You attack first.

DQ Time: 2 weeks

Banned moves: Rest, Substitute, pure healers (Synthesis, is banned, but not Giga Drain) and pure status inflicters (Toxic is banned, but not Poison Fang; Thunderwave is banned, but not Body Slam, etc)

Arena: The top of Mount Battle, a location in the Pokemon platform games.

I'll attack first -Take down, flamethrower and then bite. If he tries any water attacks , try to doge it.

Okay, Mephy! Start with Faint attack to Lily, and your Ruff-Ruff, with take down to Oak. Now, together a flamethower on the both of them. And Ruff-Ruff, bite Lily, Mephy, bite Oak! And if they try that water stuff in any form, dogde with Faint attack for Mephy and Agility for Ruff-Ruff.

Mephy: Faint attack (to Lily)-Flamethrower (To both enemies)-Bite (to Oak)

Ruff-Ruff: Take down (to Oak)-Flamethower (With Mephy to both)-Bite (Lily)

If attacked by Water :
Mephy: Faint attack
Ruff-Ruff: Agility

Lily, start out with a Fake Out to Mephy.

Then, use Rain Dance.

Next, soak Ruff-Ruff with Water Pulse.

Oak, you use Fake Out too, to Ruff-Ruff.

Then, hit Ruff-Ruff with Extrasensory.

Next, get Mephy with a Brick Break.

Battle

Dark Sage and Houndoom_Lover faced each other and threw out two pokeballs each. From those of Houndoom_Lover, a Growlithe and a Houndoom sprung out. From those of Dark Sage, a Ludicolo and Shiftry.

Almost immediately, the Houndoom, Mephistopheles, disappeared into the shadows. The Growlithe, Ruff-Ruff, ran at the Shiftry, Oak. Oak darted at Ruff-Ruff, and the two collided, each flung back by each other's momentum. Mephistopheles, Mephy for short, tackled the Ludicolo, Lily, from the shadows. Lily responded by darting out similarly to how Oak did, startling Mephy.

In unison, the two canines shot fire from their mouth. The fiery gusts had barely hit the plants when Lily used Rain Dance, extinguishing the fire. Oak then shot a beam of psychic energy at Ruff-Ruff, making a horribly loud banging in his ears.

Once again, Mephy disappeared into the darkness, anticipating the water attack coming his way. Ruff-Ruff ran up to Lily and bit her on the arm. Oak channeled energy into his hand and chopped Ruff-Ruff, simultaneous causing harm to both the pup and her chew-toy of the moment, being Lily's arm. Luckily, it also knocked Ruff-Ruff of of the arm. Mephy then sprang from the darkness, lunging at Oak. After hitting, Lily sent a jet of water at Mephy.
