Default Trailer: The Scourge (A MM Production)

A little splitting of the different fonts, hey.. it’s a Trailer.. I can be as detailed as I want ^^

On-screen Text (Read by Movie-voice guy) = Text on screen and [color=random color] Other Stories[/randomcolor]
    Bold = Movie Voice Guy
    “ “ = “Voice over by characters”
Italics = Images or scenes described.

The PokéMasters Role Playing and Fan Fiction Forums Proudly Present:

Darkness. Camera pans down to see a stone bridge with intricate and advanced engravings on the side. Fires are lit along the edges of the bridge. The bridge is connecting two stone towers, roughly 70 meters apart from one another. The buildings themselves are engraved with similar symbols and detail.

From the Author of Pokémon: Dimension Shifters

Several humans are walking across, each dressed in similar clothing and with helmets that hide their faces.

Zoids: Legend of the Ultimate X’s

They carry strange weapons that look like high-tech guns and other weapons. Two walk at each other and salute by placing their fist, palm-side towards their chests.

    “How’s the east perimeter?”

“Secure sir. No sign of the creature.”

    Star’s End: Bounty Head

The fires start to flare out, their flames pulled up into nothingness. Only one is left lit behind the men. A deep roar is heard, but it’s faint and seems distant. The soldiers look around, their weapons raised.

    “Was that him?”

    “Who else would it be?”

    Tense silence and stillness.

Dragonoid: The Tale of Fire Storm

Something bursts from the darkness, and grabs onto the bridge. Its massive hands getting a secure grip. Giant claws dig into the stone, ruining the engravings and shaking the foundation. A few of the men fall off as the rest of the creature seems to be obscured. A flap of wings and the bridge breaks free, part of it still intact. Dust and rocks fall from where the bridge was broken off. The death screams of the men can’t be heard over the breaking of the bridge’s supports from the buildings.

Creator and Author of the Award Winning Role Playing Game and story, Chains of Dragons

More darkness as the camera switches views. Fires are lit alongside a road between towering spires. An object that looks similar to a tank, however the design seems more advanced, more dangerous, and more armored. Dozens of men, dressed like those before run around, shouting commands and orders. The same roar is heard again, and the men freeze. The tank rotates slowly, the barrel raising as it points towards the sound.

A Dragon burst through the darkness, carrying the bridge in its fore claws. It comes in fast, a blur of red and yellow scales. Dropping the bridge, its wings flap and it heads down another roadway, behind more of the spires. The bridge flies, carried by the dragon’s momentum and lands on the tank, causing it to explode.

Based on the Award Nominated Role Playing Game…

Camera fades in on a clear blue sky, few clouds littering the expanse. Panning down, the camera shows a thriving modern metropolis with several tall skyscrapers, some moderately high buildings, a lake a few miles off in the distance, green trees and the suburbs. Quickly, turning the scene into a blur, the camera zooms in the middle of the city.

Camera slowly zooms in on a statue of a man standing over a set of rocks looking at him from ground level. He looks colonial, regal, and important. Across the edge of his head, close to be an outline, a small line begins to form. Sparks of purple energy twitch and dance along the statue’s face.

“There are creatures out there, evil spirits, demons, vices. They’re cruel beasts that care nothing for the physical world.”

A transformer for a power line begins to overload and sends bolts of electricity along the ground and the wires. People scream and scatter as the transformer explodes, shooting sparks everywhere.

“The world they come from is a twisted shadow of our reality, and they long for the sensations we take for granted. Because of this, they cross over.”

Cell phones ring and faxes print out static messages. In confusion people look and watch as the television screens in an electronics shop start to have their picture distorted for apparently no reason.

Zoom back in on the statue. The line that has sparks flowing from it begins to widen, covering half of the statues face. Inside is a mismatched color of purple, black and dark blue. Something moves in front of the image to another world. An alien looking eye opens, the yellow color glowing brightly. It narrows as it looks at our world, seemingly into the viewer’s soul.

“Misshapen bodies of horrific design and intent, they torture anyone and everything in their way.”

A pair of claws appears on both sides of this portal, and starts to pull the portal wider.

“They want what we have. And will do anything to have it and us, as theirs. And you…”

A group of humans, dressed in varying styles of modern dress are sitting around a fire. Their faces seem at attention to what the person is saying. They vary in size and sex as well.

“Are what stand in their way.”

    “Hi. I’m Leu, and I’m a chosen one…”

    “Hi Leu.”

A modern world is about to come under siege.

The camera shakes as civilians fall to the ground. Power lines spark and fall to the ground, as light posts fall as well.

By an enemy from the ancient past.

Out of a portal, on the side of a brick building. Thin, almost twig-like arms begin to pull something out of the portal.

    That they can’t even see.

Zoom in on a young teenage girl. She’s wearing a bandana with Jolly Rodgers scattered across it. Zoom in on her face while the background seems to zoom out. Her face is that of shock and fear. A crowd is walking in two directions. The people seem oblivious that something is standing among them. The scene quickly gives a close-up of the creature. A long face, similar to a deer, the skin was pulled back tight, causing stretch marks on the skin attached to the skull. The lips are sown shut, pulling skin towards the mouth, sown up in a fashion seen in other horror movies. Pure black eyes, like shark eyes, stare at the viewer, and piercing deep into them. Then they narrow, and the lips curl up, causing more creases in the tightened skin, turning into a demonic grin. Deep, ragged breathing starts to turn into a snarl.

A group of young adults are the only thing that stands between salvation…

The group of teenagers from earlier are seen, some of them fighting a misshapen beast. Part crab, part mud, part snake, and part scorpion.

    And eternal death.

A figure, clad only in black stands on top of rubble. The cityscape before him is post-apocalyptic. Buildings have fallen and lean on one another. Fires burn out of control as the hollowed out skyscrapers reflect the flames and an eerie orange glow reflects off of the smoke above.

“I don’t know about you guys, but I’m not ready to die just yet!”

Various scenes of the group fighting alone and separately. From darkened alleys to the shores of a lake or sea. Weapons swinging, dodging attacks from creatures off camera.

They do have one thing on their side.

One is knocked back and crashes to the ground. He pushes himself back up, cuts and bruises along his body. The look on his face is one of determination, anger, rage and pain.

    The great Beasts of Legend.

A dragon bursts from the darkness, forming from fire, both fore claws dig into the ground around the young man. The rectangular shaped head raises up and glares at something off camera. Then it lowers its head and roars, its wings spreading wide, and shows the large teeth in its maw.

The future of mankind rests in their hands.

Fires explode as a human is jumped on by a humanoid-looking dragon clad only in a pair of jeans. His claws dig into the human’s shoulders as they go crashing through a concrete wall.

    “I hate my life.”

“You do not know the powers you are dealing with.”

A man with long black hair in a tan trench coat says as the camera only sees his back. Beyond him is the street of the city, the lights on and the darkness surrounding him.

If they do not lose themselves first.

Two fight one another, their weapons clanging, and sparks flying. The dragon humanoid from earlier holds a young woman in his hand, his claws digging into her chest and her blood dripping down his arm. A woman cries in a dark corner, the shadows crawling closer.

    Separate, they fail.

Two dragons fight one another above the city. A chimera roars as thunderstorms decimate all in their way. Something fast flies by stone buildings, causing the foundations and blocks of such to be ripped away by the force of the sonic boom. A unicorn stops the ground. The multiple heads of a hydra roar and lava blasts straight up into the sky in front of it. A weasel-looking creature with massive wings flies around as energy shots miss its crimson hide as it flashes in and out randomly. Slicing through a human is a woman with large bat-like wings and dark skin. Howling to a full moon, is a werewolf, its head arched back.

    Together…

A hole in the side of a dojo, and a creature standing in the new entrance. An explosion knocks it back and causes more damage to the dojo’s walls. The crying woman from earlier is glowing bright green as a teenager seems to be healed in her lap. A young man throws a monster to the ground around him and someone else. A taller, more muscled young man cleaves a demon in two.

They might stand a chance against…

Arrows fly from a long bow and pin a monster’s mouth shut. Another young man spins around a creature, jumps and then slashes down with a katana with a red, glowing blade onto the neck, causing flames and sparks to blast away. He shouts as he swings down.

    THE SCOURGE

The Dragon from earlier has something in its mouth. Spinning around, it launches a cable connected cart into the air.

    “Come on. Bring it!”

I can't wait for this story! The RPG is exciting as it is, and you write so well! After seeing how you well converted Chains of Dragons into a story, I have high hopes for this one, as well.

And the fonts made it much more interesting (and easier) to read; having a clear way of telling what's a scene, what's sppken (and who spoke), and what's written makes it all flow better. At a couple points during character voice-overs it wasn't clear who characters spoke; even a couple words describing the voice would help, like "a somber, deep male voice." Aside from that it was a very good read, exciting and detailed.

Hey cool, a story on the RPG! ^^ Me=definately read. Er me be a closet reader though, so don't expect many replies. I just . . don't ever seem to have enough to say to be helpful. So, this was very good though. I was a little confused in the beginning though, as I thought you were talking about the other RPG's. ^^''' Leu's line is just priceless. Heh, I did find a little blooper though. I'll admit it made me laugh a bit:

Various scenes of the group fighting alone and separately.

*blink* Um yes, heh, I think you meant to say,

Various scenes of the group fighting alone or in small parties.

But yeah, it looks good, expect another reader. ^.^
    Whoot.
    *Dad talking about his filling.*
    PL: Did it fall out?
Dad: Yeah! ****in' thing only lasted two days.
    PL: Huh.
Dad. I can stick my tongue down in my hole--
    He just stops.
    ...
    *hilarity ensues*

    Mom: We're one warped family.
    *through hiccups*
PL: I didn't know you were that flexible!
