I would like to chime in here. The Psypoke 'dex corroborates Dark Sage's and Chris's statements: Miltank can not use Giga Drain.

OK Cliche, we got two rounds left. First, I want you to mimic the heal bell performed by hathor. Then, as hathor and the clones start rushing you for the body slam, blow them away with blizzard. End the round with [b]Hydro Pump[b]. We are still in this!

The January Contest

Battle Round: 4/5

The match was getting tense. Both Green Lanturn and MeLoveGhosts were furiously battling to try and earn the points and the ribbon. The Blue Avenger, Dark Sage and an actually innocent boy by the name of UuberFred were kicked out the hall for a discussion on Giga Drain.

Hathor gave a soft moo, holding her limp tail like a mace and ringing the rounded end softly. A gentle bell-like sound was emitted, floating around the dairy cow and purging her body of the stabbing toxins. Cliche watched on jealously....but after much concentration that fixated envy soon turned into a powerful force; Cliche was now able to use the attack too.

Furious, Hathor raced across the arena, her troupe of clones following her. Cliche was terrified as the army of cows stampeded towards him, hellbent on squashing him to nothing more than buzzing sushi. Cliche unleashed a wide cone of frosted ice, chilled wind and cold crystals that swept up, depleting some clones and striking the real Hathor. The remaining clone and Hathor both pulled off the body slam; one of the cows passed through the target and dissipated; Cliche was, however, still struck by the weight of the large cow.

As his foe was close, Cliche attacked; a fantastic jet of piercing water struck Hathor and forced her right back across the arena; digging her hooves into the floor only ruined the wood-panneling, and she was pushed with such power that many wondered if Cliche was close to evolution*. Not wanting to lose the match, Hathor stamped furiously at the ground; a heavy tremor shook the arena and dealt more damage to Cliche.

The last round was about to commence and a winner was soon to be announced for the January Contest. Cliche and Hathor stared each other down, and the match commenced. Oddly, this contest was completed faster than November and December's Contests.

Hathor was glowing a faint white as Cliché rubbed his lamps together and unleashed a ferocious blast of energy. The sparks and volts clashed together and raced at their target, striking Miltank down as if a lorry had ran into her. She fell down, moaning in pain, causing a stir from the audience. She slowly got up, panting.

Cliché was not finished and blasted a jet of water at the foe; Hathor stood there and let the attack smash right into her, causing her some particular pain in her abdomen. She staggered back, maintaining her white glow, focusing…

…and then it came. A whooshing silvery glow encased Hathor’s arms and legs like some sort of armor, before she charged at Cliché. Wham. A heavy blow to the little fish. Cliché screwed his eyes up as the hits kept coming, hard and fast. Hathor pummeled Cliché powerfully, dealing back all the damage she received (and then some). Cliché staggered back, collapsing to the ground, unable to take any more.

Hathor turned to her trainer, the match over.

That’s it! MeLoveGhosts has won the January Contest and receives 4 points as well as the January Ribbon, attached in the first post. Use it in sigs, avatars, websites banners or don't use it at all! Sorry GL, you did a fantastic job though.

Just for the record, Hathor’s bide would have dealt 40% damage overall – Cliché’s thunder and hydro pump each got a STAB boost and dealt 10% each – this meant Hathor took 20% damage and dealt that back double in Bide.

I find it really funny that the November and December contests are just over half way done and the January contest is over and done with already. Wish I could have entered, but of course my stupid computer didn't want that.

Congrats to MLG for the victory. So many contests seem to come down to Bide... time limits and all, I guess.

Yeah, the fight rocked GL, finally got around battling you, even if it was a contest.

Great, I've won my first contest, thanks GL for the match, thanks Chris for getting this done quickly, I'll finish the february contest as soon as I can aswell.

So, I had Bide doing 40%, Toxic doing 8% and Focuspunch(if it would been used) would deal 10% aswell I guess. Wow, that's alot of damage.
