    Default Me 2.0 VS Dragonis - Ref Saffire Persian

    Hey all. Thought I could do with a quick 1-1 to get some EXP for my team.

    One Pokemon Each
    You send out first
    I attack first
    Banned Moves: Direct healers (Synthesis not Giga Drain), Kamikaze moves (Selfdestruct, Explosion, Memento, Grudge, those ones).


    Arena: plain indigo stadium.


    As an added bonus (and bribery incentive) whomever refs this match will, in addition to the 2 points they will automatically get will also get an additonal 2 points from me at the Xmas Tree once the match has finished.

    Therefore the ref will need to be prompt

    Alright Jay counter his Water Pulse with a Shock Wave. Then Sing to drown out his Screech. Finish off by hitting Sedek with Toxic while he's coming in colse for Aerial Ace.

    Sedek continues to snore loudly as Jay composes himself, closing his eyes and focusing on his inner self, heeding no outside noises as he heightens his spiritual awareness. So caught up within himself is he, that he doesn't notice that Sedek is starting to mumble nonsense to himself. The duck's body is surrounded in a purple aura that flashes once before vanishing, copying the Ralts' stat changes.

    Opening his eyes slowly, Jay smiles as he notices his opponent is still wtihin the dregs of slumber. Shutting his eyes once more, he sends a tendril of ghost-type energy snaking towards the Psyduck, beginning to devour the duck's dreams and convert that energy into health. No sooner does this start to happen then Sedek begins to mumble even more quickly than before. A myriad of five pointed stars appear out of nowhere, and slam into Jay mercilessly, making him cry out in surprise and close his connection, though his health has still been restored.

    Angry, Jay's body crackles with energy once more, and he sends each electric tongue directly at the sleeping Psyduck. The Shockwave hits with unerring accuracy, jolting Sedek out of his sleep, sending him quacking in his confusion before he stops and realizes that yes, indeed, he's awake. Calming himself down, he glows white and rapidly purges his body free of the poison toxins.

    Naw, he's Jay as in Jay and Silent Bob.
    Alright Jay start off by focusing your power with Calm Mind. Then sap some helth from Sedek with Dream Eater. Finish off by hitting that little duck with another Shock Wave.

    Hey Saffire, not to be nit-picky, but Jay is shiny. (I just rerealized you had a regular sprite up form him)

    Alright Jay start off with Double Team, hopefuly Sedek won't be able to find the real you. Then, as he's coming in for Mega Punch, hit him with another Shockwave. Finish off with Thunder Wave.

    ~Round 3 Begin!~

    No longer feeling poison flow through his veins, Sedek quacks happily as he summons up a rumbling jet of water at his beak. Jay quickly makes three identical clones, scattering them about as the Water Pulse splurts out of Sedek's beak. It collides with one of the waltz, dashing the illusionary Jay to bits.

    Confused, and justifiably a bit annoyed, Sedek turns about and spots one of the remaining three Jays, squinting at him in annoyance as the duck waddles forward as fast as his webbed feet will take him. His fist begins to glow as it gathers power and chi energy, and Sedek stretches his fist back and he comes closer to this Jay -- real or not. The Psyduck barely registers the incoming electrical attack until it lunges into his body, shocking his watery composition. This sends Sedek into a fit of spasms, and he ends up tripping on his own electrified feet. But, by luck and sheer luck alone his falling lunge sends his fist colliding with a very corporeal Jay.

    The punch sends the tiny Ralts toppling over backwards, while his clones mimic his actions exactly. Hissing angrily, Jay picks himself up just as Sedek does. Low voltage electric energy crackles and Jay's fist, and he sends it vengefully at the Psyduck, paralyzing the duck's muscles, though not enough to stop a rippling Ice Beam from pounding into the Ralts' body.

    ~Round 4 Begin!~

    Three physically identical Ralts shimmer with a strangely mystic light, surrounding their bodies in a pale, translucent nimbus barely visable to the eye. The Ralts have scattered again, and Sedek is forced to look around in bewilderment. His muscles begin to tense, and he haphazardly chooses to aim at the Jay on his left. The billowing jet of water rushes through one of the Ralts clones, decimating it while leaving the real Jay unharmed.

    Quacking in dismay, he spins around again, to run at his opponent with a Facade. Then, out of the blue, a forceful Psychic intrusion impedes his skull and precedes to wreck havoc with his brain. His eyes swirl with color and wobble in and out of vision, and his strike barely skims the real Jay as the duck topples forward as his brain swirls back together.

    When Sedek finally comes to his senses, the Ralts has long fled, and Sedek closes his eyes and tries to focus his Psychic energy to find the Ralts - he barely locates his target when a sudden surge of electric power courses through him, and rendering him completely paralyzed.

    OK, Jay start off by using Flash so he can't see where to aim his Icy Wind. Then Teleport behind him to dodge Blizzard. After that nail Sedek right in the back of the head with a Thunder Punch.

    ~Round 5 Begin!~

    With only one clone remaining, Jay continues to hold a slight advantage over the Psyduck, but that is taken away with one hardy whisk of ice-cold wind that wipes the clone from existence, while besetting the true Ralts with its icy chill, making its body go numb with the cold. But the numbness in his body is not enough to stop Jay from emitting another bright, eye-searing Flash that momentarily blinds the Psyduck as he wobbles about.

    His lack of eyesight triggering the substitution orders, Sedek opens his beak, breathing in deeply, before blowing out a fierce Blizzard attack in hopes to strike Jay, despite his blindness; however, the ice-type move meets nothing but hard, stadium ground and air, as Jay teleports out of the way and behind Sedek, fist glowing with electricity.

    A moment later, Jay's small, crackling fist slams into the duck's skull, electrifying the water-based fowl for a few long seconds until Jay finally lands on the ground, snickering as the Hydro Pump, while aimed in the right direction, misses completely.

    Youre doing great Jay! Start off by using Double Team again. Then hit Sedek with another Shockwave. We'll end this round with another Flash to keep the duck blind.

    Swift to delete the clones. Then use hypnosis and end with hydro pump. If you do get blinded just use refresh.

    ~Round 6 Begin!~

    The battle finally beginning to take its toll on both combatants, Jay quickly takes the initiative, and allows his form to blur and split into two identical beings once more. Sedek, however, no longer feels threatened or intimidated by the trio, merely opening his beak and sending forth a barrage of shuriken-stars, which bolt off in all directions, slashing everything they come in contact with, including the real Jay and his clones.

    Jay, covered in marks from where the Swift flew passed him, squeaks, seeing that his doppelgangers are no where in sight. Quickly, he strings together as many wayward bolts of electricity as he can, now very much aware that Sedek is staring at him intently... with very strange colored eyes. Even as Jay throws the Shockwave lazily forward, the Ralts is suddenly overcome by a sudden, strange sense of drowsiness. His eyelids feel like led, and everything he looks at seems blurry... and he's suddenly so tired...

    Slowly, Jay's head bobs, and it isn't long before he falls down onto the cold stadium floor, content and sound asleep.

    Sedek's eyes turn back to their original color, and he quacks happily. His happy exclamations are cut off into something of a watery gurgle, however, as the duck taps in to his water abilities, and releases a gigantic spray of high-pressured water from his mouth. With Jay's form completely prone, and for the most part, immobile, the Hydro Pump hits him without fail; however, water has long been known as a handy agent to wake people up even in their deepest of sleeps... and true to the tale, the sudden splash of cold, hard, powerful water wakes Jay up with a start, and a startled yell as Jay looks about wildly, now soaking wet with no idea why.

    OK Jay, let's see if Sedek can breathe through water. Use Psychic to hold his beak shut while he's trying to launch the Water Pulse. Then use Confusion to keep his mouth shut untill he's used Ice Beam. Hopefully the Ice Beam will freeze the water and he wont be able to use his mouth for awhile. End this round by hitting Sedek with a Thunderpunch as he's caming at you with Aerial Ace.

    ~Round 7 Begin!~

    Brimming with a sense of newfound confidence, Sedek readies himself to fire a spray of water at the annoying Ralts and be done with it, but even as his throat gurgles with the rising water, Sedek finds his beak shut closed not of its own record. Sedek quacks in displeasure and confusion, and the water tries to force its way out of his beak, but to no avail; Jay's Psychic is keeping it firmly shut. With nowhere to go, Sedek is forced to gulp the water back down, tettering about in increasing frustration.

    His next move almost mimics the last. Jay once more attempts to hold down the paranormal duck's beak with a Confusion attack while Sedek tries to force an Ice Beam out of his closed maw. The Ice-Elemental attack crashes against the resistance that is Sedek's mouth, and since the ice energy has no where to escape, the beam freezes a good part of the inside of Sedek's mouth, freezing it shut quite thoroughly.

    Sedek is, suffice to say, rather restless now. His bill is turning numb, and there's not much he can do about it. It's cold, and bothering him qutie a bit, but he manages to put the chill in the back of his mind, backs up a few paces, and darts forward -- only to have his muscles seize up at the most inopportune moment, sending his rubbery body skidding across the turf.

    Jay, knowing that now would be a perfect moment to strike, does so, slamming his electricity induced fist against the Psyduck's conductive skin, squeaking as a bit of the electricity strikes the Ralts himself, but still manages to smirk as the Psyduck squirms in pain from the thunder element attack-- still, the fowl's not finished yet, hopefully, not by a long shot; however, only time will tell.

    ~Dragonis attacks first.
    ~Sedek took 2% from the backfired Water Pulse + Psychic, and 4% for the Ice Beam + Confusion
    ~Jay suffered 2% damage from using an electric attack while his body was very, very wet.

    Alright Jay, let's start off by tring to Disable Sedek. If it worked end this match with Thunderbolt. But if you only Disabled an attack try to lull him asleep with Sing. If he's asleep, and you have enough energy, hit him with Thunderbolt, if not just Relax.

    Disable disables the last attack the opponent used. And since none of our attacks have really worked last round I'm curious to see what happens.

    Sed let's use a hypnosis. Next blizzard until you go down. use a sleep talk if you fall asleep.

    Knowing that he's down to his last legs, Sedek grimaces and allows his eyes to shine with a light blue glow, sleep-inducing waves reverberating about the air. Jay tries to concentrate enough to Disable the Psyduck, but his mind becomes fuzzy and uncoordinated, blanking out as his finally lapses into a sound fit of sleep.

    Feeling his energy ebbing away bit by bit, his beak frozen shut, Sedek struggles to summon up a mighty Blizzard, and manages to do so, watching happily as it clatters against Ralts' comatose body.

    Heaving with exertion, Sedek once more summons up another Blizzard attack. This one hisses against the sleeping Jay with a very cold, though somewhat downgraded force. It stops mid-way as Sedek teeters about, energy thoroughly spent. With a sigh, knowing he did his best, Sedek collapses to the floor while Jay sleeps on, unaware of his victory.
