Dark Sage versus Elec Man EXE (Ref: Weasel Overlord)

I'm making an open challenge! Anyone is welcome. And it's a strange contest.

Here are the rules:

DQ Time: One week

Illegal Moves: Rest, Destiny Bond, Substitute, Perish Song, any pure stauts inflictors (Toxic and Thunder Wave are not allowed, Poison Fang and Body Slam are), and pure healers (Recovery is not allowed, Giga Drain is.) Also, weather-changing effects do not work in this arena; you'll see why in a minute.

Pokemon: Four, one out at a time. We PM our first choices to the ref. He decides at random who attacks first.

Arena: Beginning Dimension. This grand palace is a practical Mount Olympus, and is the home of Aruseus, the God of Pokemon. This creates a specific condition:

Every one to six rounds (decided secretly after it happens) Aruseus himself appears to observe. A random effect then occurs.

1: His divine energy heals all status conditions, and restores health and energy of both pokemon by 10%.

2: He smites both pokemon, costing them 10% of their health and energy.

3: A random pokemon attack is targeted at both pokemon. Use the same rules for Metronome. Both pokemon are targeted with the same attack.

4: A wave of energy covers the arena. It can be that of any pokemon type except Normal, chosen at random. If a pokemon is weak against that type, it loses 10% of its health. If the pokemon is strong against that type, it gains 10%.

5: His presence inspires both pokemon, giving them a +3 bonus to Attck and Special Attack.

6: Each pokemon gains the ability to use one of the moves on Aruseus's move list that is not introduced in Diamond/Pearl. It is different for each pokemon, and chosen at random. This lasts until the next time he appears.

Tapping her foot to the gradually speedier melody of Ayu, the highly eccentric, newly promoted referee fondly known as Weasie stepped up to the podium of this very bizarre arena. She grinned from beneath her big floppy hat and waved a pale purple flag with the words; “Woo! Promotion!” on it, as she prepared to do her mighty and amazing speech declaring the battle’s start.
This didn’t quite go as planned. As the dance beat of Evolution kicked in, all the referee could do was jig happily on the spot squealing “AYUUUUUU!!” in a really high-pitched voice until both competitors clamped their hands over her mouth and decided to start their battle without the consent of their crazed and hyper referee…

Bah, sorry Zeriff. My crap luck seems to have brought you up against one of the few types you can't deal with effectively. Guess you'll just have to beat him through skill .

Alrighty then, lets start off with a Tickle for distraction. Then, take advantage of the situation and hit him hard with Brick Break. Follow that up with Poison Fang, sink some venom into him. If he tries to toast you, summon up a rocky Ancientpower to absorb some of the flames and then hit him.

Don't feel bad, Elec, this happened to me several times.

Blast, start by using Flash to counter his Tickle.

If he wants to use Brick Break, meet him with one of your own. Since he's Steel, it will hurt him worse.

Finally, use Double Team to try to avoid that Poison Fang.

Hmm, I wonder if me posting in here is ok... I've been umming and arring over this for a few days now...and I'm still not entirely sure about what to do. I've been considering quitting as a ref. Yes, I know, I'm a shit ref anyway, I've got a bit of work to do out of the internet, though I fear, not quite as much as I often make out...not to mention RPG. I feel a stupid and probably disproportionate amount of guilt for not doing my reffings and posting in RPGs instead, but I've gotta say...that place is my baby. Moreso now that I'm like, looking after it, lol. So yes. Long story short, it comes to the end of my ramblings and I fear that my decision has been made.

I'm following in the footsteps of Bladey and throwing in the reffing towel; no matter how much I enjoy doing it. I've got nothing but apologies for the four people whose battles I'm reffing, but I hope you'll understand.
