Slowpoke is dopey, but that grants it a natural resistance against pain. It can only become stronger if it is bitten my a Shellder - being bitten is usually considered a bad thing.

These Pokemon aren't often used on competitive battling teams; while Slowbro was a viable option in RBY, none of these Pokemon are often used in the modern games. As a result, they don't "stay for long" in tournaments because they gets KOed quickly they are even used at all.

Slowpoke and Slowbro are fairly dim-witted and therefore don't care where they are. But if Slowbro and Slowking lose their attached Shellders during a harsh battle, they revert to being regular Slowpokes according to various Pokedexes.. Therefore, they would prefer to assure their own safety. Slowpoke would likely also wish to avoid being attacked.

Answer: MANTINE

Mantine is a rare combination of Water/Flying types, but it has a fairly small movepool.

I lack any power; all I am is new.
Most of Mantine’s stats are weaker than Gyarados, the original Water/Flying Pokémon.

The weight of my burden slows me a bit,
Mantine is said to carry Remoraid hitchhikers, according to the Gold, Ruby and Sapphire Pokédexes.

But nevertheless I’ll take your best hit.
Mantine’s one advantage is an extremely high Special Defense, which allows it to effectively resist many moves.

If you think I’m the best, you’re in for a shock,
Gyarados is generally better than Mantine, although Electric moves devastate both – hence the “shock.”

Though continued importance is a total lock!
Mantine’s evolutionary line will grow further via its Diamond/Pearl pre-evolution, which means that trainers must seek the talents of Mantine even in the next generation.

Its ability of Pickup allows it to find items. Also, it can use Odor Sleuth in battle to sniff out the enemy.

Zigzagoon is a weak Pokemon, to be sure.

Since it is able to find rare items for Pokemon to hold, Zigzagoon can be a huge asset to any trainer. In fact, it is a viable option for the Battle Pyramid solely because of this ability.

It's pre-evolution(Porygon) could be obtaied by buying it at the Game Corner with 9999 coins(6500 on Leaf Green)

But now I'm smaller than I was before
Porygon is 2'07" while Porygon 2 is 2'00"

I'm stronger than ever, but still quite slow
It has improved stats, but with the speed at 60, it's still kinda slow

But what I'll do, not even my owner knows
The Pokedex says that sometimes it may exhibit emotions not programmed by the humans.

Donphan's preevolution, Phanpy, has the ability of Pickup. Donphan doesn't have it, so the line only "picks up" its reward while it's climbing the evolutionary ladder.

Both Pokemon can use Rollout; things obviously roll with greater speed when moving downhill. This greater speed gives more power to make things "pop."

Some geodude/graveler/golem have the skill sturdy which prevents 1hit-ko's from effecting them. They can also learn explosion, which can knock out both trainers pokemon
