Xatu any good?

I was just battling an Xatu on Ruby when I realised just how cool it is. Now I want to train it up for my team. But before I go catch Natu does anyone have any good suggestions for Xatu or know if it is good? Just so you know I don't have any interest in using it for Pokémon Contests...only battling. One more thing, is it wise to teach an Xatu fly? It's just that I'd like to have most of my battle team with the HMs so I don't have to keep switching around with Pokémon from the boxes.

I don't know if Xatu has changed from GSC, but my Xatu in Silver is pretty good...

Xatu gets wish... and Wish is just like Recover if you use Fly.

Oh and Gligar_Man are those numbers supposed to be stats amounts or something? I don't actively take part in team building topics so I don't know whats going on.

heres a really good xatu moveset:

item: Leftovers
psychic
drill peck
confuse ray
wish


confuse em, then bash em with two moves that get stab
wish is there cuz it RULES

Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally I don't like Xatu too much, but it is pretty good, for the few mixed psychic. Just play it.
