[Hyperness is a Good Thing]

Had to think for a while about what sort of powers to choose…
In the end, I decided on a human with Bount-like powers..because I like the idea of having a sort of “familiar” by your side ^^U
Oh yeah, for the relations, we’re supposed to know all the other humans with powers right?


HUMAN –

Name: Masahito Kiyoshi
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance: He looks something like this. Roughly about 6”2 in height, his hair is always stylishly messy though he doesn’t bother too much with it. It can be seen in his face that he is not of pure Japanese blood, though no one really makes an issue out of it. During much of his free time, he practices kendo, so his body is relatively well-toned.
He generally wears his school uniform all the time(even after school hours), but when out of it, he’s either in his kendo gear or a simple t-shirt and jeans, not really one to dress up. He wears his Bount doll as a earring in his left ear in the shape of a dangling fiery red phoenix, depicted as if in flight.
Personality: Kiyoshi tends to be a bit broody, though when prodded, he can talk as much as anyone else. He has a tendency to tease those younger and smaller than him, not as a bully, just as a gentle way of playing with them. Kendo is one of the things he genuinely enjoys because it gives him a way to vent all his pent up aggression in a relatively harmless way. Generally compassionate, he is not at peace with his Bount nature, hating the thought of consuming human souls to gain eternal youth, especially not living souls. He hates injustice of any sort and will go all out to protect the weak. Though the Quincy and the Soul Society were responsible for the death of his father, he bears no grudge, preferring to live and let live, reasoning that he does not want to poison himself and waste his life futilely.
Powers: His Bount doll manifests as a blood red phoenix when unsealed, and her name is Calida. Calida is roughly larger than a cat, but when Kiyoshi is agitated, she can reach the size of a large horse. Unlike some dolls, Calida is deeply attached to Kiyoshi and would never turn on him. She herself cannot heal, but in her unsealed form, Kiyoshi gains very strong curative powers. However, Calida can and does attack physically and is very agile and fast, even at her largest size. Both she and Kiyoshi are able to emit short bursts of energy that, upon contact, cause intense pain for a few seconds on the opponent, more than enough to distract them. These bursts of energy only have a very limited range(about 1 meter radius away from the user), and so they have to be very close before they can do anything. Calida, unlike Kiyoshi, has no qualms killing and is much more ruthless than he. Her talons are razor sharp and extremely hard – they have been known to slice through even some (weaker) Shinigami zanpakutō. She can also set up a complete barrier that covers 360 degrees around Kiyoshi, but so far, is unable to make larger ones successfully. When unsealed and not in combat, she prefers to perch on his left shoulder. Kiyoshi has no weapon and so must rely on his own kendo skills during combat. He also has the Bount ability to consume human souls and gain everlasting youth, but thus far has never used it.
History: Masahito Kiyoshi is not his real name. He is actually of Spanish-German-Japanese descent, and he is the only child of a Bount Father and a human mother. When the Soul Society decided to purge the world of Bounts, they killed his father, but somehow mistook the child as human as his powers had not manifested, and so he was raised by his Japanese mother back in her hometown. He does not know his true name and has no memory of any other home other than Japan.
Relations: Is in the same class as Katashi, therefore is in Abe-sensei’s homeroom. Also grew up in the same neighbourhood as Hoshiko, and he calls he Ko-kun when she’s in her tomboyish mood and Hoshi-chan when she’s in her other mood(is that alright with you classycat?)
Other: His mother is unaware of his Bount powers - she assumes he is like a normal human. Kiyoshi managed to manifest Calida due to some inner subconscious memory; he gathered all the necessary ingredients in his kitchen at home, and began the ceremony almost instinctively. Calida first manifested as a little phoenix chick, but as Kiyoshi’s powers grew, so did she.
