In other other news, Episode 6 of Super Mario Bros. Z is out; the intense amount of action in this one gave me an idea for a DBZ-themed battle. Anybody sound interested in that? Human-shaped Pokemon only, low gravity and drag that allow for high speed and levitation, immense increases in power due to the steroid-laiden atmosphere or whatever... Seeing my Combusken Fire Punch a mountain in half or my Swords-Danced Lickitung with spiky blonde hair Hyper Beaming a 10-mile crater into the ground is a very appealing prospect...

If he's gone past the DQ, you can give him a few more days but after that, you should cut him. I'm sure other people want to battle you for the badge

Hrm, here's a question for discussion.

Mostly to ref's. What matches are you currently enjoying to referee? Any that really make you think, or at least have some real creative flux while writing them?

Not to say I'm not enjoying any of them, that's not true, I love reffing. I'm just lovin' the Indigo battle with MH vs UC. funny stuff in there n_n. Maybe cause its moving faster than most my other matches, but still n_n.

Well I think the better matches to Ref are the 1v1, where both Competaters have to be creative in the way they post attacks and damage. Tag Team matches however, are a pain in the ass to Ref because of so many conflicting moves trying to stop everyone else from attacking their targets... If even ONE of them gets through then both teams could be decimated by stratigory....

But eh... that's life :/

In answer to yee question, if it's a fast battle, where all parties are posting within close succession, those are fun, like DL said. Although I have to agree with Mew Master that Tag Teams are a pain. It's just hard to keep all the attacks straight and I've had to hit the 'Backspace' button many a time because I forgot something. --''' Although, the Chris VS WO tag battle was just too funny at the end where Chris's Feebas just wouldn't die XD.

Right now though, I find Safari Reffing's to be the most fun. A lot of randomizing is involved (at least for me) but for the most part it's in rapid succession when people reply. In true battles, if the two battlers are creative with their attacks, I find it more fun, and amusing.

Oh and MM, I was fed. Just ask my sister and she'll tell you that you never, eeeeeeeeever poke me. I have nails and I ain't afriad to use 'em *grr* Lol. Or you know, what ever else I can think of at the time. *hands back hand with sewing needle*

We started the first three battles, but it ended up being so long and complicated that we had to call it quits.

It was very difficult to adapt to BulbaGarden's ASB rules, especially since our battling and reffing style was very, very immature at the time.

2001-era ASB for TPM was a very dumb place, and I'm really glad the mods have managed to make it more organized.

also I Found a Mastadon in my Garden! or rather my dad dug up the root of a mastadon tooth but he thought it was just a rook at the the time, and I just came along and picked it up then cleaned it up... my first real fossil I ever found.

Actually I just graduated with my B.S. in Geology, Emphasis in Paleo this May. I'm already accepted into Grad School and I take the GRE at the end of July. Heh, my focus is Dromaeosaurs though, and some other therapods. ^^. Should have my M.S. in two years at least, then it's off for the PhD!
