 Battle

With a brilliant flash of light, Smeargle disappears, and in his place, a larger figure stands proudly, claws extended slightly, his whole stance menacing. This Armaldo means business. As Kurenai prepares her special attack, Armored Ant is quick to swing into action, dashing forward, his twin claws crossed and glowing. He slams them down hard onto Kurenai, who is still unprepared.

As the bug-rock Pokemon gets into place to attack again, Kurenai releases two orbs of highly varying types, one, glowing with a dark, muted energy, and the other, pulsing gently and brightly. Both strike right on, and implode within him, causing heavy damage onto the Armaldo. Groaning a little, he still crosses his claws for a second X-scissor, knocking Kurenai down.

Kurenai watches her opponent with hooded eyes, and when he raises both claws in a motion of about to cross them, she immediately prepares to Teleport. She disappears, but Armored Ant was waiting for this, and the hyper beam is already growing within his mouth, concentrated energy in one of its deadliest forms. He spins, and the beam catches Kurenai off her side, not entirely hitting, but still doing enough damage to knock her out.

Only in his first round and having triumphed over his enemy, Armored Ant can't help but feel victorious.
