The glitch were you breed a nosepass and something else to get a shiny nosepass.I really want to try it to get atleast one shiny.

From memory Gligarman tried it out and it worked. Something about breeding an Oddish with the Nosepass. I'm not too sure, you'll have to ask him...

no it wasnt like that, someon experienced a glitch when breeding vileplume with vileplume and nosepass with nosepass in wich the games screen glitched, so i breed 30 oddish eggs and hatched them, no glitch, and i breed 30 nosepass eggs, no glitch, but on the 4th egg i ended up getting a shiny... its fugly anyways you dont want it, and it isnt a glitch... just trying to add some comfort to other people when i did it... i did NOT experience any glitches... i just got really lucky, but im really weird about shinies, in gsc i found 6 total (including a pupitar) and ive already obtained 5 in rusa... at an alarming rate... anyways, sorry but to my knowledge there is no way to glitch a shiny...

breeding does increase your odds of getting a shiny.

Breeding doesn't increase your odds at all, unless one of the parents is shiny. The shiny offspring will probably be the opposite gender of the shiny parent. It's not nearly as easy as it was in GSC, though, since breeding has changed.

To my knowledge, there is no safe way to shark for a shiny. The proccess I read in one online FAQ was so long and risky and you could never be sure what Pokemon you'd get... Unless you are talking about some code I don't know about.

You can shark shinies. You just have to use the Lavaridge Egg modifier code with the shiny code to guarantee the pokemon you want. I got a shiny Rayquaza and a shiny Charizard. They're both black! The process seems complicated, but it's really just long winded. Just be very careful. Cheating IS wrong, and I try to keep my sharking to a minimum to lessen the risk of Karma. Also, make sure that you read all notes and warnings on the Gameshark Faq.

Well..actually i am trying to beat the game completly before i do any sharking (dont have one yet) but i was just wondering if i was able to shark shinys just beccause i think they look cool. Oh ye..what is Karma?

karma, is a universal balance... like "what goes around comes around" philosohy applies very much to this, and id shark shinies at the beginning if i sharked so if my game screwed up i wouldnt lose anything...

Actually...i was just going to buy ruby and use it as my guine pig. Thats what i did with blue and red. I do that just to be safe because i had my file delated many times in the blue/red days...and with a time of 185:30....im taking no risk. BTW...does anyone kno a site that has shark codes for shinys and that actually tested them to make sure they work, and dont you need a newer game shark for them to work?
