I was going to post attacks, but something in Hia's reffing just caught my eye...

    "Far-set eyes..."

OK, let's look at this from a scientific viewpoint. Seadra is about 4 feet tall, which means that its snout is probably only about as long as my forearm. Ergo, its 'nozzle' is, at most, the size of my fist.

Armaldo, on the other hand, is about 5 feet tall, and its head is at least 1/3 as wide as it is tall. That means its eyes must be somewhere between 15 and 20 inches apart.

So... how does a projectile about the size of a baseball manage to strike an area that broad sufficiently enough to induce blindness? Even if it just splattered outward from the middle of AA's forehead, I doubt it'd do so in a great enough quality to do much more than irritate his eyes a bit. But total blindness? That just doesn't look plausible to me.

Well, it doesn't mention that Suiryudan blasted it in the form of a ball. It could be a stream like water gun... Reallife octopusses (or squids?) don't release ink in ball form either.

I imagined it as more of a splatter..
Like when octupuses do it, they spit out what looks like a murky cloud..

Octazooka: The user spits a blast of inky water. If this ink gets in the target’s eyes, it makes the target have difficulty seeing without seeing ink. Moderate damage. Good accuracy.
    The attack list states "blast"
A continuous stream should be more than enough to blind..but on the other hand he was asked to hit him in the face.
But anyway, the ink is gonna drip off soon..or you could ask him to wipe it off pretty easily.
...I think I'll go change it, Blade made a valid point.

    Blademaster VS Silencer

    ROUND 9

    Pre-round Stats

    Blademaster

    ♂ || Armored Ant
    HP: 53%
    Energy: 70%
    Status: Partially blinded! OH NO!

Water Pulse, Cross Poison, Aerial Ace

    Silencer

    || Suiryudan
    HP: 91%
    Energy: 84%
Status: Amazed that he is STILL breathing. Must be some magic skill.

    Twister~Bubblebeam/Blizzard~Brine/Blizzard

    Battle

    mutter mutter.
Anyway, AA is trying to get the ink out of his eyes, but he has a slight problem i.e, his claws aren't exactly made for this sort of thing. Suiryudan is quick to seize this opportunity and creates a neon pink mini hurricane of dragonish energy that he directs towards the overgrown rock bug. Whee whee wheeeee, AA is spun around delightfully(not), and as soon as the world stops spinning in that terrible manner, he calms himself down, squints at the blurrish blue thing that is Seadra, and spits out a pretty round ball of water that splatters not quite onto the Suiryudan. Unfortunately for the Armored Ant, he fails in confusing his more sprightly opponent.
    (H:-6, E:-5 ; H:-3, E:-5)

Once again, a long spurt of bubbles whacks AA nicely in his chest, knocking him back a few paces. He definitely won't stand for this! Running forward and leaping as gracefully as an armored bug is able, he lands a cross chop laced with poison onto the Seadra's chest. To his great delight, this time, he succeeds, and his foe is poisoned.

    (H:-13, E:-5; H:-11, E:-4)

Since he's so nearby, Suiryudan spits more water out in the bug's general direction, but he manages to dodge - some, not all though. He moves closer, and strikes, dealing a light blow with a glowing claw. Suiryudan gives his opponent a stony stare, hiding the pain he feels from the throbbing poison in his blood

    (H:-10, E:-3 ; H:-7+<-4>from poison, E:-5)

Well, OK then. We're back in business...

Double-A, we can still beat these guys - if not by outmuscling them, then by outsmarting them.

First, use Water Pulse until that demonic seahorse is Confused, and then use Rest at the end of the round.

If Water Pulse Confuses that thing in one hit, use Frustration during the second action. And if Sui-whatsitsname uses any Super-Effective attacks, dodge-and-strike with Aerial Ace.

Move: Water Pulse, Water Pulse, Rest
Sub: Aerial Ace (as needed), Frustration (on the second action)

Ok, so if we use any water attack, then he's going to use Aerial Ace to dodge...

Use a Dragon Pulse twice to strike through the Water Pulse. Finish by using a Water Gun, we don't want that thing to fall asleep strangely enough

    Blademaster VS Silencer

    ROUND 10 Whoot

    Pre-round Stats

    Blademaster

    ♂ || Armored Ant
    HP: 24%
    Energy: 57%
Status: can more or less see now

    Water Pulse, Water Pulse, Rest
Sub: Aerial Ace (as needed), Frustration (on the second action)

    Silencer

    || Suiryudan
    HP: 67%
    Energy: 70%
    Status: Poisoned! (3-4% a round)

    Dragon Pulse~Dragon Pulse~Water Gun

    Battle

    zzz
Water is spurted out, not from the Seadra, but from the Armored beast this time. It makes its blubbery path at a good speed, but Suiryudan will have none of that. Dragon energy moves in a strange pulsing motion towards the water, and breaks it up, but not completely. A few pitiful remnants of the draconian energy hit the Armaldo, and mere droplets splatter onto the Seadra.
    (H:-3, E:-4 ; H:-2, E:-5)

This is repeated for the second turn, with both opponents endeavoring to cause harm to each other, and failing miserably.
    (H:-4, E:-5 ; H:-3, E:-5)

Finally, Armored Ant is about to close his eyes and rest, but what's this? Suiryudan is jetting a spout of water towards him! It has to be avoided at all costs, and so, he dodges, the main jet missing him, but he gets hit by some of the spray, before slapping a claw down onto the Seadra.
    (H:-3, E:-4 ; H:-7, E:-4)

Poison still troubles the hapless Suiryudan even as he looks forward eagerly towards the end of the battle, hopefully in a few rounds.
    (H:-4)

Unleash a concentrated Blizzard if he doesn't try to dodge or use double team, else keep it widespread. Follow up with Swift and finish with Twister.

If he tries to rest (not sure if this will work) disable his eyes from closing so he'll have to stay awake

Wait for that seahorse to fire a concentrated Blizzard; then use Aerial Ace to dodge and attack him. Take the Swift attack - Rock > Normal, after all, then Protect against the Twister so Sui has no attacks left to use. Then use Rest.

Move: Sneak Streak (Aerial Ace... with a loophole! W00t! XD), Protect (@ Twister), Rest

Actually Blade, I think you should look up the updated version of Aerial Ace.. it's more like the flying version of Iron tail as the description says, rather than...erm.. let me try to remember correctly, something that makes their wings glow and helps them move faster or something like that u.u
...though I'll let it slide, because you gave orders to wait and then dodge, which is acceptable...but using aerial ace doesn't significantly help dodging..
...am I wording it wrongly now? It feels very weird, reading what I've typed u.uU

    ROUND 11

    Pre-round Stats

    Blademaster

    ♂ || Armored Ant
    HP: 14%
    Energy: 44%

    Status: Poisoned! (4-5% a round)

    Blizzard~Swift~Twister

    Battle

Round eleven dawns, and will it be the end of the battle?
I'm the ref and I don't know yet! XD

Eager for BLOOD, Suiryudan puts his whole heart into the full force blizzard that AA finds is heading in his immediate direction. Following earlier instructions to the T, he dodges as best as he can, feeling some effect from the cold, but definitely not full damage. He waits for an opportune moment and strikes, claw glowing white.
    (H:-4, E:-4 | H:-8, E:-5)

Seeing as AA is so nice and close, Suiryudan makes his move with all the pretty pointed stars characteristic of Swift. A shield is already about the Armored Bug, and he smirks as the Seadra's attacks are repelled.
    (E:-4 | E:-7)

Feeling rather tired and low on health points, there's nothing AA would relish better than a nice nap right now... but Seadra will definitely not allow that! AA's outline suddenly glows red, and he finds himself unable to even move, let alone go into the healing trance he so dearly needs.
    (E:-7)

Curses! Suiryudan's poisoned body object to being put through so much strain.
    (H:-5)

    Post-Round Stats

    Ok intervention.

Aerial Ace: It's been seen in the anime only by birds [thanks writers -_-] but from what I've seen it can definitely be used as an evasive move. However if we are to assume an Armaldo can leap up, loop around and...well, you get the idea. I'd say Aerial Ace can be used to evade; I picture the user darting around at high speed and sweeping in to attack.

Re The commands: The reffing needs to be edited since Armaldo was instructed to let the swift attack just hit him. His orders were aerial ace -- protect -- rest, but Blade simply stated in the command that he wasn't to try and fight back against swift since he had a natural resistance to it.

However looking at it that would make the order go:
Seadra: Blizzard -- Swift -- Twister
Armaldo: Aerial Ace -- Protect [twister] -- Rest

Which doesn't match up. So to be honest I'm just as confused. I think the last rounds attacks should be re-posted and the entire round re-reffed personally since this is an odd situation.

I'm leaving it up to the ref, however, since the match is in her care.

    !!!!!
Gee, I didn't read Blade's attacks properly...u.u conveniently saw the sequence of attacks and missed the order.
Sorry, that was totally my mistake...
The way I see it, the current sequence of attacks for Blade:

Aerial Ace ~ Relax ~ Protect ~ Rest

Blade's attacks would have to be reposted, because I count not moving against the Swift to be one move entirely(Relax), then a Protect against the Twister... which means he will not be able to use Rest at all.

    *goes to edit reffing*

    Battle

So here I go again, chasing you down again..
    why do I do this?

Suiryudan experiences a very strange feeling of deja vu when he blasts the concentrated blizzard at the Armored Ant. Armored Ant also has some vague memories of previously dodging that blizzard, but instead, he sets up a barrier around him, that takes the full power of the storm, and then dissipates completely.
    (E:-5 | E:-8)

    Pace yourself from me
    I said maybe baby please
But I just don't know now
When all I wanna do is try

Something is nagging at Suiryudan, but he pushes it aside. Armored Ant, plagued with similiar odd feelings, rushes forward, jabbing a hard elbow down onto the Seadra's head, getting a barrage of stars for his effort.
    (H:-6, E:-5 | H:-11, E:-4)

I will never let you go, if you promise not to fade away..
    Never fade away...

Eying the kill, the Seadra produces a pink twister, trying to direct it towards Armaldo, who gamely takes the damage, resisting with all his strength. He waits, waits....and finally, when the energy dissipates, his body is in stasis as he forcibly places himself into a trance - a healing trance to be exact, one that brings peace and comfort temporarily to him.
    (H:-5+12 | E:-5)

Gazing at his opponent, Suiryudan feels anger bubbling within him at how LUCKY the guy is, and fumes as he feels the poison blazing a trail through his body.
    (H:-5)

    Post-Round Stats

    Blademaster

    ♂ || Armored Ant
    HP: 15%
    Energy: 31%
    Status: RESTing

    Silencer

    || Suiryudan
    HP: 35%
    Energy: 42%
Status: Poisoned! (4-5% a round); can't believe how lucky his opponent is

    Ref's Notes:

    1. Song lyrics=ref listening to random music=feeling weird. I hope I'm not violating some copyright... And I just followed my playlist on shuffle LA.Current song: 30 seconds from Mars, A Beautiful lie. Heh.
    2. Mighty ref decreed that Pokemon's memories were (inadequately) erased! The disastrous round 11 that does not exist anymore! *decrees that you trainers forget about it too* xD
3.Do I need to tell how long the trance will last? Because my random number generator has already told me. Oh and using rest, if Armaldo uses SleepTalk/snore, he will neither gain nor lose energy. Oh, and amount of health regained=depends on random number generator.

Rest didn't work all at once as I'd hoped...

Then it's over. It's been an honor, Si.

AA, spend the first round just regaining HP, and then put all your energy into the loudest, most powerful snore you can muster.

If you wake up after the first round, just use Stone Edge until you go down.

Move: Rest, Super Snore (Snore + Snore)
Sub: ------, Stone Edge, Stone Edge

Reffing one round? Would Hia still get the points for reffing if we did that?

Yeah, the ref that reffed the emajority of the match gets the points.

So if there is a total of 20 rounds, the person that reffed atleast 11 would get the points.

I stand corrected... Anybody feel like reffing the last round of this battle? You'll get no points, but I'll repay the debt when XMas rolls around.

    Battle

<< >> :lides in, after abducting HIAGT::

Real quick, yo DL is in the hizzouse! Yo check it. Suiryidan is all "NOZ!" at Armaldo resting right. So, while the mighty ant of ants begins gaining all that lovely Health back, a foamy swath of water leaves Seadra's probiscus. It jettisons up, meanders overhead, and then cascades down on the sleeping opponent with no mercy!!

Suiry hopes that snitch moved to the next dimension...

    (S: -7E A: -13H(+6H))

..Say what? its still there! No. The attack repeats itself..kinda like dunking a circus clown in a tank. Armaldo gets no rebuttal this time, as the foamy Brine finally ends his pain.
