First things first - you hurl Judge's Pokeball, and the Blaziken emerges in a flash of light once again, his muscles rested and his cut eye repairing itself a bit. You instruct him to look outside for some more Poke Balls; he nods and leaves the warehouse.

Meanwhile, you order Duckbot to attack the noisy Exploud overhead; Duckbot beeps in reply and fires a fat spark of electricity from its snout, which slams into the piped Pokemon, Paralyzing her and shutting her up at the same time.

Her muscles locked up, the Exploud can only watch helplessly as Duckbot fires a beam of icy energy at her, Freezing her solid and knocking her off the catwalk; the crash against the warehouse floor shatters the ice around her, giving her the chance to get to her feet and blast a Flamethrower at the digital duck. The Porygon2 shrieks like a bad AOL connection and falls back, firing another Ice Beam at the Exploud's chest. She shivers as she's slammed into the wall again, getting to her feet and letting loose an Uproar of shock waves that slam Duckbot 1... 2... 3 times in a row.

Every other Pokemon in the area flees or flies away from the intense sound; the startled Forretress in the corner blows up in a fierce Explosion, revealing some sort of a steel corridor hidden behind the crates...

Deciding not to tempt fate and mess with the Grass Pokemon army out here, you quickly scooch back through the log and onto the fields again, looking at the area from another angle.

From this side of the field, you can see a regal Vespiquen, dripping with honey and hanging from a tree branch surrounded by at least a dozen Combee fluttering about. On the ground not too far away, several daffodils you passed earlier suddenly catch an updraft of wind, flying into the air... Why, those aren't weeds - they're a Jumpluff! The seedy Pokemon flies into the air peacefully...

But then a flock of Spearow swoop down from a nearby tree and begin to viciously Peck the intruder, who cries out in pain and struggles in a futile attempt to get away.

Ziz is breathing heavily after the awesome explosion of light. He tucks his wings up over his back and just sits on the edge, panting with the exertion. It is not the easiest of attacks to perform. While he is taking a breather, the Trapinch has at last come to her senses. She shakes off the pings and dives for the sand, within moments only a small hole remains. Clearly she has had enough of being blasted about.

Finally once Ziz has gotten his breath back he launches himself up into the air, rowing for height. He searches for the little bugger but she is nowhere to be seen for the moment. He starts to zoom around building up speed when the Trapinich bursts out of the ground in front of him. He wildly careened aside but only goes a few metres before turning back around, his mouth and teeth glowing light blue.

He zooms in and scoops up the Trapinch in his mouth, crunching down, feeling the Trapinch squirming and trying to get free as the cold seeped into his skin. She screeches and continues to try in vain to get free. Finally she braches her legs against the bottom of his mouth and shoves herself forward, flying out of Ziz mouth, getting deep gouges for her efforts, but knocking a few teeth out as she went. She skids in the sand and turns around, glaring at Ziz. The pain has had only one good effect, it has wrenched her mind free of the confusion.

The Quest
You back slowly from the peeved Skunk but you movements only antagonize him. He lunges for you but you quickly roll to the side through the broken door of the building yu were just checking out. Inside you turn and look for the beast just as he charges again, which you manage to avoid thanks to a well placed table. The Skuntank crashes into the Frotress, disturbing its slumber and with anger it starts to explode. With no time to think you run for the door as the blast throws you a few feet away. Dust clears and you check the damage done. Both pokemon Koed you notice something that wasn't there before, a portal under the floor with a ladder. I wonder whats down there..?

Intrigued by the new passageway revealed to you, you call Judge, who is back by your side in a flash. You point out the corridor, he nods and enters it, holding up a flaming fist as a torch.

While you were pre-occupied with that, however, that sneaky Exploud has taken the offensive, Flinging a heavy crate at Duckbot. The crate shatters against the digital Pokemon, who responds by grabbing the Exploud in its Psychic embrace and hurling her into the ceiling, then blasting her with yet another Ice Beam. The shivering Exploud cries and and crashes to the floor, slowly forcing herself up and then jumping as high as she can, Stomping down hard on Duckbot. The Virtual Pokemon screeches in pain, swiveling its head up and firing an intertwined jet of flame, bolt of electricity, and stream of ice - right into the Exploud's mouth. She Screeches in agony and falls back, smoke rising from her jaws.

As the round draws to a close, you glance back down the corridor - Judge's flame has vanished altogether. He must have made it pretty far in there...

Finally, Lume closes his eyes; the Spearow all instantly drop to the ground, out like lights. Lume smiles and then turns to the Jumpluff.

"Trrrrrrrrowlll..." ("Are you OK?")

"Jumpluff luff... pluff." ("Thanks to you... I'll be fine.")

Lume nods, then flaps his wings, creating a gentle Gust; the Jumpluff catches the updraft and smiles as it soars the other way, far from those nasty Spea-

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRR!!!!!"

Every Grass and Bug Pokemon in the area scatters as a ferocious screech echoes overhead and an immense form swoops down...

It's a Fearow, and it is pissed.

Hmph well it wants a fight. Armada your gonna help Lumen since I don't believe in fair fighting. Both of you use a combined whirlwind attack. Armada I want you to fire a flamethrower amongst the flames and Lumen, use psychic to hurl Fearow into the inferno.

Chris, it seems to me that you used only 4 attacks. Was that intentional, or did you forget a couple?

Also, can you clarify those attacks a bit more? 'Fire a Flamethrower amongst the flames?' Since there's no flames yet, I'm assuming you meant to fire it into the Whirlwind and create a tornado of fire...? Am I making any sense here?

Oh, and is your Noctowl's name Lume or Lumen?

Tin's flesh begins to burn as he retalliates, calming his mind before immediately bashing his head into the skorupi; a mental force follows, aching the poison pokemon easily.

However, if it resorts to violence, we’ll put it in its place. Judge will use Flash Cannon then Thunderbolt and finally Confuse Ray. Edea again, will use Thief to get that Ultra Ball quickly, upon giving it to me; she can use Dynamic Punch and then Metal Claw. Remember you two, use your superior speed to make yourselves hard to hit.

Judge catches the mamoswine's attention, distracting her from noticing that Edea has leapt towards the purple ball swiftly. However, as Edea grabs the ball, Mamoswine immediately turns, firing off a rather large ice beam that jets through the cavern, crashing into Edea and knocking her into a wall harshly - the ultra ball hits the ground beside her. Judge takes in the distracted swine, and spins around while charging up a massive attack from it's jewel core. Firing off the attack, the blast is flung through the air wildly as it crashes into the mamoswine.

She turns to face your starmie, then raises her fore-hooves high into the air before bringing them to the ground in a violent display. The earth begins to tremble as shockwaves are sent shuffling through the ground. Both Judge and Edea lose their balance as the attack persists. Judge retalliates by hovering in the air, firing off a sharp blade of electricity which shocks Mamoswine harshly, while Edea dives at the pokemon with her right fist outstretched, punching the mamoswine queen in the torso.

As the battle rages, you note a small skeletal structure in the snow - another trainer, perhaps? Is it possible that this pokemon already belongs to someone?, and that ultra ball is her home? Would retrieving it secure your victory? Before you can think about it for too long, Mamoswine roars loudly, summoning a hail storm of snow to wrap around your two pokemon for weak damage. Judge, not feeling the attack so much, stares into the eyes of the mamoswine, and lulls her into a deepened state of confusion. Mamoswine stares at Judge calmly, but is short-lived when Edea shashes at the ice pokemon with a sharp claw, covered in a steel alloy.

o______o Okaaay… Judge use Confuse Ray again and try your best to keep her in that state of doing absolutely nothing. Edea, use Faint Attack to get back over to the ball, and then if it notices you, use Agility to get it back to me, if not, use Faint Attack again to go undetected and get the ball to me. Judge, if Mamoswine breaks from the confused state I want you to use a small substitute to draw Mamoswine’s attention. If it destroys the Sub in one hit, hit it with Confuse Ray again. Edea is worse comes to worse, use Thief again to try and get the ball if you drop it on the last turn.

If I get the ball back, I’ll try to return the Mamoswine. O.o’’

Edea cloaks herself in the shadows of the cavern and darts suddenly to the ball that lies lazily in the snow. The attempt is dangerous, but she's willing to go through with it. Judge attempts to lull Mamoswine into another state of confusion, but is unfortunately unable to catch her attention when Edea accidentally reveals herself too soon. Edea grabs the ultra ball, but Mamoswine instantly charges at her, violently shoving her tusks into Edea's torso, flinging her into another wall harshly - the ultra ball bounces off the wall and rolls towards the snow.

Judge attempts once more to capture Mamoswine's attention, by focusing its enegy into a smaller star-shaped doll that lingers in the arena, motionless. This, however, is also unfortunate as Mamoswine refuses to give chase to the doll. Edea picks herself back up; her body shakes from the inherent danger she's put herself into. Once more feeling brave, the dark weasel shuffles quickly through the cavern and dives for the ultra ball before once more being violently flung into the wall. Her grip on the ball, this time, remains firm, but her body is already feeling weak.

Edea hits the ground harshly, but struggles to pull herself back up. Her heart begins to beat faster and faster, and she decides to return to you without consequence. As she continues to charge through the cavern, Mamoswine fires off another blade of ice that crashes into her backside, forcing her to drop the ultra ball and stagger to the ground. The ball rolls a few inches before friction takes effect, stopping the ball a good twenty inches in front of you. Judge, meanwhile, calms the mamoswine down once more, and she remains confused.

Alright, No one go near the ball, there is a slight chance if we don’t go for it she’ll stay… lulled in confusion. Judge I want you to use Recover, doesn’t have to be major, just bit of recovery. Edea, mimic the Recover and use it. Next both of you get over to me, Edea you can relax, you did your job well. Judge, I have one more task for you. Which probably would’ve saved us a lot of trouble but I learnt the hard way, quickly grasp that ball is a psychic and bring it to me. I’ll then return the very angry mamoswine. If she goes for you at any time, do your best to get out of the way.

With Queen Mamoswine temporarily down, Judge glows a solid white color, restoring some of its health partially. Edea notates the unusual cellular recovery, and attempts to do the same. At the high cost of fatigue, Edea's body begins to reshape itself into a healed state. Mamoswine stares at the ultra ball, calm, yet slightly pissed.

Judge then focuses on the ultra ball, and levitates it into the air. Mamoswine takes note of the pinkish aura engulfing the ball, and when it slowly makes its way towards you, she angrily roars out before charging. Judge acts fast, and flings the ball into your hands as the mamoswine comes closer and closer, eager to protect her freedom.

However, with the ball firmly in your hands, you press the center button, which fires off a red laser pointed directly at the charging beast. Within inches of tackling you all, Mamoswine is engulfed in a red aura before being withdrawn into the ultra ball.

You cheer silently with your pokemon, and register the ultra ball in your name. The ball shimmers before disappearing, and waits for you at the end of your journey.

Going in the building you bravely scale down the ladder. At the bottom you notice prison cells, as this is a Old TPML prison, out of use for atleast two decades. You hear grunting in the distance and edge over to look around the corner. A Machoke[M] and Primeape[M tumble in battle as a Aron[F] watches...

The Trapinch is already quite fearful of the Aerodactyl, especially since the last round and the gouges he left down her back as she got away. Ziz now looks at him, snarling (admitted looking a little odd with the missing teeth) and glowering at the small Ground type. She backs away and he finishes his fear-inducing tirade by roaring long and loud at her. She yelps and takes off down the beach, following the Wingull Ziz has scared into flight.

You take off after her; slightly chagrined as this was probably not what you had intended to do. You loose sight of her and sigh, disappointed, when a rock comes flying out of nowhere. You yelp and dive out of the way as the boulder just misses you and smashes into Ziz's wing. He screeches and crashes into the sand. It didn't hurt much, but it was quite a shock. You look over and see the Trapinch, trembling in fright but not willing to totally take off in fear just yet. Though it won't take much. Ziz hops back into the air and smashes his silver encased tail over her head and she shrieks in pain and tries to squirm free.

A sudden rough tackle topples you to the ground and just as you about to curse vigorously a bolt of lighting hits the wall in front of you. As the Buneary clings to your your back an angry Electrivire[M] sparks and bellows at you. Protectively the bunny leaps up and screeches a battle cry, but as brave as the little guy is it will not stand a chance against this behemoth.

What will you do?

Not good. I think a change of location is in order. We'll head towards the Abandoned Playhouse and since the buneary is nice if it wants to come exploring with us it can (though I'm not all that interested in catching her). If it is necessary to buy some time i'll send Yana out and have her do her best to buy us some time with a roar and a couple of faint attacks.

The match between Duckbot and the Exploud rages on, neither Normal monster letting up in the least. Duckbot starts this round off by closing its eyes; from nowhere, a series of 0's and 1's form in mid-air and are drawn into the avian program's beak, condensing further and further into an orb of shimmering black energy made entirely of binary digits, which blasts forward and slams into the Exploud. She roars and falls back, an odd black crust slowly spreading over her chest. Duckbot seems to have accomplished an impossible feat - it's infected an organic entity with a computer virus!

The Exploud, furious and feeling sick, staggers towards Duckbot, before falling flat on her face. Duckbot tilts its head and slowly leans towards the Monster...

WHAM!!!

Bad idea - a fist crackling with electricity and glowing with poisonous aurae shoots up, slamming Duckbot clear across the room. Seems that that Exploud set up a Facade,and Duckbot fell for-

WHUMF...

Duckbot and the Exploud perk up, hearing an odd noise... They shrug and resume facing each oth-

WHUMF...

Duckbot, Exploud, and you all fall dead silent; you all turn your heads slowly towards the steel corridor Judge went down, which is rapidly growing brighter and brighter with an orange light.

"Blazikeeeeeeeeen!!!!!!!" Judge cries out as he dashes out of the hallway as fast as he can, a Great Ball clutched in his clawed hand.

Not a fraction of a second later, the air around and behind Judge Overheats and explodes, sending him smashing into a stack of crates that tumble down on top of him, some of which are beggining to burn...

As the smoke and dust settles, you can see that the Exploud has run off, hiding behind some crates somewhere; you and Duckbot watch as a massive form lumbers out of the corridor...

It's a Magmortar, and it doesn't look too happy about its door being blown up, its home being invaded, and its treasure being ransacked...

Realizing you're up against a true threat, you quickly send Armada back out onto the field; the massive Pokemon and Lumen stand side by side, ready to face the enemy Fearow together.

Lumen's eyes glow a bright blue again, but the Fearow he is facing is smart - he opens his beak and utters an Uproar of sound waves that slam Armada and Lumen one, two, three, four, five times straight! And even worse, the immense sound has woken up those accursed Spearow again...

Armada puts his paws together and conjures a blast of electricity, which he hurls at the Fearow like a dodgeball. The scruffy bird screeches, calling out to her flock for aid, but as the Spearow take off, Lumen flaps his wings and lifts off the ground, quickly conjuring a Whirlwind that sucks up every last Spearow and, with great effort, flings them all away, the miniature twister carrying them quickly out of sight.

The Fearow looks stunned at this display of power and strategy, but is quickly snapped out of it when a second ball of lightning crashes into him. Growling angrily, the devious bird Mirror Moves the attack, firing a blast of her own lightning, slamming Lumen with it head-on! The owl cries out and falls to thr ground, steam rising from a few of his feathers as he attempts to catch his breath.

Meanwhile, Armada summons and hurls a third ball of lightning at the Fearow, who squawks and crashes into the ground on her back. Furious, she takes to the air and swoops at Armada, her Drill Peck ripping into his soft flesh for heavy damage.

With the Trapinch being so terrified of Ziz, he keeps a close watch on her to make sure she won't take off. She takes the chance as he is watching her to power up a beam of white energy. She blasts it at him as he decides she is evidently not going anywhere. The energy slams into his chest. He roars at her but keeps coming no matter what. She shrieks and tries to take off but he just flaps over and slashes down her back with his claws. She cries out in pain but manages to get free and oddly enough heads for the water.

Ziz looks down where the beam hits him and sees something purple seeping into his skin. It is nothing to worry about for now however as he follows the Trapinch, his wings glowing a whitish hew. Just as he is going to strike the Trapinch whips around and flings mud right into his face. He screeches and totally misses the Trapinch, crashing into the surf.

Ziz bellows in fright and heaves himself up and out of the water; his rocky hid dripping wet and that slam into the water certainly wasn't comfortable. You step forward to the still slightly scared Trapinch (though she thought the crash rather funny). You enlarge the Pokéball and toss it at her as she just turns to look at you. She gets sucked in and it wobbles for a good bit, but finally you hear the relieving 'DING!' of a capture.

The Quest
You fumble your pokegear out and press the "Call" button quickly as the Behemoth of lightening stomps toward you. The Bunery readies to attack but a bright flash of light stop her in his tracks. A Hypno appears and greets you with a bow, but he quickly turns and focuses on the Electrivire, swing his pendulum and releasing psychic energies. Instantly the creature is put down to slumber and the Hypno readies to transport you were ever you wish to go. The Bunny smile and hops away to find someone else to befriend and you sigh with relieve as you are Ported to the Playhouse. You find yourself on the streets of the city in front of a burned down theater. You creep closer just to have a Meowth[M] pounce from a trash can. An Abra[F] Teleports about around the outside of the place and a Chimcar[M] sleeps in the back row seating area inside.
