ROUND NINE

Finally having the upper hand in the battle after eight rounds, Dylan smirks as he orders out his next set of attacks. Chris, having done the same with Roaryx, waits for the ensuing battle to see how things pan out. As Yanma lifts higher in the air, towards the roof of the warehouse (-2% - Yanma), Roaryx merely charges the electric energy from within himself, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike (-3% - Roaryx).

Roaryx hisses as a great amount of electricity is released from his tiny cat body. The roaring electricity escapes into the air dangerously, narrowly brushing against Yanma despite his agile quickness (-8% - Yanma; -7% - Roaryx). The electricity wanes, and Yanma prepares his assault. Summoning more rocks into the arena by way of telekinesis, Yanma, this time, hurls them from his safe spot in the air, allowing them to crash into the tiny blue cat for great damage (-8% - Roaryx; -7% - Yanma).

Very weak, and very tired, Roaryx charges up a second time, but the energy alotment is much weaker this time around. He shoots off another thunderous collection of energy, which only manages to hit Yanma for light damage, fully exhausting his energy (-3% - Yanma; -1% - Roaryx). The shinx meows tiredly before staggering to the ground, defeated. Yanma, no longer having an opponent, keeps himself at ease whilst retaining some energy from the round's hardships (+5% - Yanma).

ROUND TEN

The exhausted Roaryx sighs as Chris recalls her to his poke ball; he ponders for a few moments before tossing another poke ball to the factory floor, releasing the other pokemon he received from the great DiaPer giveaway, a stunky named Alii. The two trainers make their orders known, and the two pokemon ready themselves for another battle!

Alii breathes in deeply, collecting the various toxins in her body and conjuring them together into a nice collective ball - she spits the massive ball of sludge at the bug pokemon as he hovers through the air. Yanma hisses loudly as the poisons burn him painfully (-8% - Yanma; -6% - Alii). Yanma counterattacks by vibrating his wings more rapidly than before, creating a supersonic noise that ripples through the abandoned factory. Alii cries and her head aches (-5% - Alii; -2% - Yanma).

Yanma uses this as an opportunity to strike next - his eyes close and he teleports three large rocks from outside the factory, and uses his telepathy to hurl them at the stunky for mild damage (-6% - Alii; -5% - Yanma). Alii pulls herself back together before shooting a steady stream of flickering flames at the distracted yanma. Yanma is once more burnt, and this time, suffers for it (-8% - Yanma; -7% - Alii).

Yanma hisses, closing his eyes once more and focusing harshly on the skunk pokemon. Alii, without her consent, begins to float in the air for a few moments before being violently flung high into the air (-7% - Alii; -6% - Yanma). Alii cries out as she sails through the air before crashing on the ground below (-2% - Alii). Her body hurts, but she remains vigilante; her claws trickle with dark energy and she leaps high at the lofting bug pokemon before slashing at him violently (-6% - Yanma; -4% - Alii).

As round eleven begins, Alii quickly paws at the ground furiously, hoping to dig a trench in time to avoid Yanma's next attack. The flying bug pokemon is too quick, however, and vibrates his wings together once more, quickly creating a venomous shockwave that irritates Alii's head and ears as she continues to dig (-5% - Alii; -5% - Alii; -2% - Yanma).

Fully submerged in a cavern of darkness, Alii is safe from Yanma's attempts; Yanma again vibrates his wings quickly, creating another shockwave of noise that is, unfortunately, muffled to the stunky (-3% - Alii; -2% - Yanma). Alii, pleased with herself, blasts a chain of fire straight into the air, crippling the dragonfly pokemon harshly (-8% - Yanma; -7% - Alii).

Yanma suffers the pain of his burn once more (-2% - Yanma) as he attacks once more, hoping to cause more damage to his foe. Unfortunately for him, the waves are once more muffled by the underground (-3% - Alii; -2% - Yanma). Ending the round, Alii lets loose another severe chain of fire, blasting the Yanma again (-8% - Yanma; -7% - Alii).

ROUND TWELVE


Alii remains safe in her trench hideaway whilst Yanma telepathically summons more damp rocks from the outside into the arena, hurling them towards the stunky hole (-7% - Yanma). The rocks barrage Alii's safespot, crashing into her violently (-8% - Alii), shattering upon impact. Alii cries while digging to safety. When she saw Yanma's hideous smirk, she immediatley fired a gunky blob of poison, which hailed through the air before crashing into the Yanma (-8% - Yanma; -6% - Alii).

Sensing more imminent danger, Yanma erects a protective veil that surrounds him safely (-10% - Yanma). As Alii's treacherous flames dart through the air, Yanma has a sigh of relief as the cackling flames are dimmed by his protective spell, causing no damage whatsoever (-7% - Alii).

Yanma, safe from the first wave of flames, closes his eyes and thinks of a powerful attack. The element is foreign to him, but he pulls it off well, and shoots off a barrage a silvery-colored steel orbs that crash into the stunky harshly (-7% - Alii; -5% - Yanma). Alii winces, but retalliates with another chain of fire that crashes into the unguarded yanma (-8% - Yanma; -7% - Alii).

ROUND THIRTEEN

The rain outside picks up once more, giving the battlers a sense of white noise as the rat-a-tat sound of the water continues to beat against the steel roof of the abandoned factory. Yanma begins the round by shooting off a similar collection of steel balls that collectively crash against Alii forcefully (-7% - Alii; -5% - Yanma). Alii doesn't take the attack lightly, however, and jettisons another chain of fire at her bug adversary. The flames soar through the air before scathing across the agile bug's body (-8% - Yanma; -7% - Alii).

Yanma's body begins to burn from the continuous allault of fire attacks from his foe, but even in his weakened state, he persists. Yanma's wings swing up and down in a rapid state, creating a sword of wind to come crashing down at high speeds. The "air blade" rips through the skunk's body, and she squeals in pain (-6% - Alii; -4% - Yanma) before retalliating with another fire beam. Once more the flames cripple the faultering bug pokemon (-8% - Yanma; -7% - Alii).

With the last set of flames, as well as the increasingly painful burn, Yanma goes down for the count, and Dylan recalls him instantly. Chris congratulates his stunky for being victorious.
