BLADEMASTER'S 8-BIT SPRITE SENTER

OK, everyone, inspired by Kyra's and Kalah's attempts to bring some life back to FanArt, I am opening a sprite shop that is both old and new. Allow me to explain:


Old: The sprites will be done using the colors and styles of the original Super Mario Bros., so every sprite I make will be 8-bit (Duh.), flat, and limited in color depending on its size.

New: In addition to Mario sprites, I will also attempt to make sprites of other characters - video game characters, cartoon characters, comics, etc.. I'll do my best to accomodate you all.


Understand? OK, good. Simply come here and fill out the accompanying form of the character you want, and I'll do my best to make you a sprite.


The form:


Name: (The name of your character goes here, obviously.)
Picture: (A picture of your character goes here, also obviously.)
Background: (If you'd like there to be a background for your sprite, aside from a blank white screen, ask for it here.)
Accessories: (Anything you want your character to hold, wear, be sprited with, etc. goes here.)
Other: (...)



HOWEVER...

I only accept one request at a time, so I don't overwork myself like I always do. Should I receive a request, the shop will be closed until I complete that request; any subsequent requests will be ignored, EVEN AFTER COMPLETION OF THE FIRST REQUEST. KEEP THIS IN MIND; JUST BE PATIENT, AND PLEASE WAIT YOUR TURN, OR YOU WON'T GET ONE.

Phoenixsong: You requested a Chain Chomp/Piranha Plant hybrid with no picture, background, or accessories filled out...

So, I improvised. I took the name, envisioned it as I saw it, and added some authentic SMB background and accessories to make it look more realistic.

And before anyone points it out, yes, I know the picture looks a little warped. Photobucket + Paint = sucky sprites, but what can I say? Either you get a slightly warped sprite or one that's too small to see - take your pick.

I have an odd request that somehow sounds fitting as a display icon on MSN. Better yet, quite possibly a future avatar. Well, it may seem a bit complicated at first, but considering the loveliness of the Gene Frenkle/More Cowbell you made last year, I think you might get through.

Unless you're not as skillful now, but I doubt that happened...right? ^^;

Picture: Reference picture, you mean? Best I can offer
Background: I'd be fine without one, but if you randomly decide to toss one in, go right ahead.
Accessories: Well, given what the picture shows, can you do a black man with an afro (and moustache, but that's the easy part) and dressed in a black suit and dress shoes with white undershirt and a red tie?
Also, I'd love it if he had were holding up a sign as if he were in protest and holding a sign with "POOL'S CLOSED" in bold red lettering, but I'll let you put it in as an option.
Other: Hrm...not sure if anything wasn't stated.

If you think it's too hard you can tell me ahead of time. But either way, thanks in advance, bro. ^^;

OK, now I know it's Photobucket that's screwing my sprites up, because this picture is exactly copied from Paint and it still looks warped - the sign is almost illegible, Afroman's arms look deformed, the background is fuzzy, and the sweatdrop on that Blooper is barely recognizeable...

OK, again, end rant.

Picture: Exhibit A is a koopa, exhibit B is a shyguy, and exhibit C is a lakitu
Background: Something that look like a college.
Accessories: Exhibit A carries a pen and has backpack instead of shell, exhibit B carries a book, and exhibit C is fishing a CD, and he is smoking
Other: Put in the words 'KMPk life' under the three exhibit

Sorry for the delay, Mika, but I didn't quite know how to go about this sprite: Super Mario Bros. wasn't much for different shades of blue and red. But I eventually figured out a suitable solution, and here it is:









Photobucket sucks so much... I wish I knew of a better place to upload stuff like this... Maybe I should start putting my deviantart account to good use...

Incidentally, if the writing is too small to read, the Goomba is saying this:

"Twenty coins for walking around naked in the middle of the winter... I MUST have been drunk when I made that bet."

It looks longer because he's stuttering... Hell, you would be too if you were naked and covered from head to toe in frost.

Anyway, I hope it's acceptable...
