Smirking, you switch tactics and order Duckbot to attempt a new strategy. Duckbot beeps and nods, its eyes glowing pink; at the same time, the Exploud glows pink as well; she Screeches once again, rattling Judge and Duckbot further. Still Duckbot maintains its grip as you hurl your Ultra Ball.

It strikes the Exploud and opens, sucking the boisterous Pokemon in in a flash of pink light. The ball flies back to your hand and shakes once... twice...

But there is no third shake - the ball bursts open and the Exploud re-emerges, Paralyzed, panting, and overall wiped out. She seems to have no chance to win now.

In a last-ditch act of defiance, the Exploud gets to her feet and glares at you, Judge, and Duckbot. She opens her mouth as the Psychic grip overtakes her once more...

And then, a single point of white light appears in the beast's mouth...

"Ex...EX...PLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUD!!!!!!!!!!!!"

You and Judge cover your ears as the Exploud launches a final, massive attack: a combination of Hyper Voice and Hyper Beam that engulfs Duckbot and sends it crashing through crates, machines, and finally into a cement wall before coming to rest.

Duckbot's holographic form fizzles and blurs as it attempts to get back up, floating forward and preparing to use Psychic once more, but the Exploud is spent. Her energy exhausted, and her systems Poisoned, she collapses to the floor, practically wiped out.

A grim expression on your face, you shake your head and toss the Ultra Ball once more; it draws the Exploud in and shakes once... twice... thrice... frice...

...DING.

It's over... The Exploud is yours. The Ball vanishes in a flash of white light; just then, you notice something painted on the wall of the warehouse, beside what appears to be a painting of an Ultra Ball...

PLATRIN PLATEAU UNLOCKED

As you ponder what this odd message could possibly mean, a familiar sound echoes over the village.

DING-DONG!

"YOUR SAFARI ZONE QUEST HAS ENDED. THANK YOU FOR PLAYING; YOU HAVE FIVE MINUTES TO GET OUT BEFORE WE RELEASE THE HOUNDS."

The challenge has been accepted. The battle is on.

Armada, doing his best to hide his fear, puts his hands together, an orb of psionic energy welling between them. The queen Gengar puts her hands together as well, an orb of pure blackness welling between them. Both Pokemon fire their attacks at the exact same time - Armada's in the more of a beam, while the Gengar's is more of a shockwave. Both attacks hit their targets dead-center, dealing equally impressive amounts of damage.

Armada charges at the Gengar, opening his insatiable jaws wide and Crunching down on the Gengar's arm. She shrieks in pain and anger, delivering a pair of Brick Breaking punches with her other hand that send Armada reeling a few feet back.

The Snorlax shakes his head, then conjures another orb of energy in his hands; this time it is Ghost energy, which promptly fires at Gengar in the form of a Shadow Ball. She shivers as the attack tears through her, and then her body begins to spark; a massive Thunderbolt fires from it, striking Armada dead in the stomach and knocking him backwards.
