Well.. i suggest you'd catch a taillow.. it will come in handy when you have fly..
you might also catch a shroomish in the woods.. it has a pretty powerful evo..

and if you want another one..
go for a whismur.. however i personally suggest you wouldn't catch all your pokemon here..

Actually, as far as Fly goes, I'd advise looking for a Tropius in Route 119. Yes, it's rare, but that just means more training for your battlers in the meantime, and there's a place to rest in the nearby Weather Research Station. The useful thing about Tropius is that it can learn several HMs.

    TROPIUS
    Cut
    Fly
    Strength
    Rock Smash or Flash

When you reach Lilycove City, you can speak to the Move Deleter and get Rock Smash or Flash, whichever one you taught to Tropius, off of the actual battler who has it. Those moves aren't very good for serious battling.

    altaria lv.42
    fly
    earthquake
    dragonbreath
    dragon claw
Dragon Claw and Dragon Breath is redundant, I would replace Dragon Breath with Dragon Dance for Stat uppage

    sceptile lv.41
    leaf blade
    absorb
    strength
    facade
Same as before with Leaf Blade and Absorb. I would replace absorb with Detect, which is useul in tight spots

    gardevoir lv.42
    psychic
    shock wave
    calm mind
    flash
Replace Shock Wave with Thunderbolt. Its stronger and much more useful.

    kyogre lv.48
    body slam
    calm mnd
    ice beam
    hydro pump
    No problem here

    wailord lv.45
    water pulse
    surf
    waterfall
    water spout
OK, this is difficult. Why do you have Wailord here at all? It's the same type as Kyogre and has only one type of move. Unless you plan on just fighting rock with Wailord you had best change it up. I sugjest Sableye. It has no weakness and can use Dark Type attacks which are good for Phoebe.

For your sixth pokemon I recomend Camerupt with Eruption, Earthquake, Rock Slide and Hyper Beam/Sunny Day, depending on your preference. It can be very helpful against Sydney and Steven, plus Earthquake is a good strong attack for most any occasion.

I'm with Magi - Camerupt has decent weakness coverage, and Sableye's type combo is useful in tough spots.

However, the rest of the team needs some major reworking. First and foremost, Fly on Altaria isn't the best idea, in my opinion. It takes too long to set up for an attack that does less damage and is less accurate than 2 Aerial Aces. Try that instead.

Second, Sceptile's moves are all screwed up. Strength and Facade are pretty much useless, and while Leaf Blade is tempting, it doesn't belong on a Special Attacker. If you give Camerupt Sunny Day, give Sceptile Solarbeam. Unfortunately, Sceptile's moves are limited, so you may be stuck with most of your attacks... I'd go with Leaf Blade, Swords Dance, Detect, and either Solarbeam or Giga Drain, unless you wanna go through the trouble of breeding a new Sceptile that knows Crunch or Dragonbreath... :s

Gardevoir makes a good Special Sweeper, so let's focus on that aspect for her, shall we? Psychic and Thunderbolt are good, and Calm Mind is OK but not really needed... If anything you may wanna swap that for Substitute and add in Ice Punch or Shadow Ball as your last move, so you have a defense as well as type coverage.

Calm Mind and Ice Beam on Kyogre are fine, but you may wanna swap Hydro Pump for the more reliable Surf. Body Slam is OK, but Kyogre's Special Attack is phenomenal... You may wanna use Water Pulse instead, or even an off-the-wall move like Thunderbolt.

I like Magi's Sunny Day Camerupt, but Hyper Beam has never struck me as a great move, so that's just me...

Lastly, if you go with Sableye, it's stats suck, so I suggest being as annoying as possible with it: Try giving it Mean Look, Confuse Ray, Toxic, and Shadow Ball, so it has at least some way of fighting off enemies.

I don't think it's worthwhile to bother with Giga Drain on Sceptile if you're keeping Leaf Blade. (Which, incidentally, is a Special move in RSEFrLg, Blade. ) Swords Dance is actually pointless here, because it doesn't boost any of Sceptile's moves. Since your options are so limited at this point, I guess you could take Solarbeam to try for the Sunny Day combo, and fill the remaining spot with... uh... some filler move. Yeah.

Likewise, Surf/Water Pulse seems needlessly redundant for Kyogre here. I like Blade's idea of T-Bolt, though; that could actually be playable in competitive battles to surprise unwary opponents. And it gives you much better type coverage late in the E4.

    And by the way... there's no need to create a new thread for each stage of a developing team. It doesn't really do anything but take up space on the forum. Just so you know. ^_^;

...Why stop at Thunderbolt with Kyogre when you can use Thunder? Since I gather that this team is ingame, he's not going to be seeing much weather-changing, so it'll pretty much be rainy whenever Kyogre's out anyway. Given that rain makes Thunder 100% accurate, combined with the higher damage and paralysis rate at the loss of only a few PP... yeah. More Kyogre know Thunder than Thunderbolt, and there is a reason.

Thunder is also easier to get; you can buy it. Thunderbolt, on the other hand... you get one freebie from Wattson, but then you have to spend a year in the game corner to get a second one. Gardevoir would benefit more from Thunderbolt than Kyogre would, so I'd advise using T-bolt on that alone. (Teaching hard-to-replace TMs to non-breedable Pokémon is always a bad idea anyway...)

These new Physical/Special Attack classifications blow... -_-''

    OK, change of plans:

    Sceptile:
    -Leaf Blade
    -Detect
    -Solarbeam
    -Sunny Day/Dragon Claw

I forgot about Kyogre's Drizzle Ability, too, so yeah, scratch what I said last time:

    Kyogre:
    -Calm Mind
    -Surf
    -Ice Beam
    -Thunder

Lastly, Camerupt, Sableye, and Gardevoir work well, but Altaria kind of worries me - it is probably the weakest of all fully-evolved Dragon Pokemon. Try replacing it with the far-superior Salamence:

    -Dragon Claw
    -Aerial Ace
    -Earthquake
    -Flamethrower/Fire Blast

Salamence has far higher Attack than Altaria, so Earthquake works better with it, and since it's the same types as Altaria, it gets STAB boosts from Dragon Claw and Aerial Ace. Salamence, though, doesn't learn Dragon Dance, so since this is an in-game team anyway, I'd say to just wing it and teach it a type-covering anti-Ice attack. Flamethrower is more reliable, but Fire Blast is stronger... Your call, I suppose. I'd personally go with Flamethrower, since it becomes stronger than even Fire Blast while Sunny Day is in effect.
