Not really retorting here, but just wanted to point out how this seems to be a normal thing with anyone that dislikes Bush. How he doesn't speak well then he isn't a good President and or he is stupid. Well, I would say judge him by his actions and not how well he speaks, I mean if we wanted to elect Presidents just on how well they speak, we would just elect Hollywood Actors.

Ronald Reagan was elected with years of political experience under his belt that people could draw on to know what kind of Presdient he would be. Ranging from being the Governor of California for 8 years, as well as working for the Presdency of a Republican Cannidate before that. Also running for the Republican Party Canidate in 1976. The man had years upon years of Political Experience to draw on, and wasn't just a pretty face that could speak well infront of the camera during news conferences.

If you want to talk tyranny- this is what happens when ANYONE grows the government too big. Do I think Bush is a swell President? No. I think he's a pandering, weak-willed dishrag who still thinks that he can be Prom King if he gives in enough. I voted for him to elect a government and tax-slashing conservative, who would leave a war up to the generals instead of mucking around with it. I did not expect to get someone who would grow the government, allow pork to continue unfettered, and who would keep trying to wish-wash his way around the war. Wars need to be fought to win- there is no middle ground.

Let's not pretend that Democrats don't do their best to introduce a sprawling, corrupt behemoth of government, getting into everything (except people's bedrooms. Everything else though). That the Republicans have decided to do the same is a pity, but guess I'll go with the Libertarian ticket more often then.

Oh, and as for the hand-wringing over Dru being a woman, so she's a woman. She can defend herself perfectly well, and if she can't, then she shouldn't be debating. Where was the chivalry when DTZ was following me all over the board calling me a Nazi and a blood-thirsty psychopath? Does my femininity count for less because of my politics?

Because the only person to stick up for Dru besides herself was me, I'm assuming this was directed at me, so allow me to reply in kind...

First off, I stuck up for Dru because she's a woman AND a friend of mine, so I was naturally a bit more vicious than I'd be if she were one or the other.

See? This is a perfect example of why I don't argue with Roy. Why? Because no matter what you say... he's gonna back up Bush, back up Republicans and never admit to any contradiction of his own opinion being true.

In light of that fact... I'd like to say one thing. Until you STALK President Bush and actually HEAR him in the private of his own office... come UP with these ideas that he's "inforced" or "come up with" and yadaya... then DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT say that "He has come up with this" or "He has done that." Because I would bet A LOT of money that "he" really doesn't come up with those things... but his advisors, his advisor's advisors and such, come up with it, TELL him to address it and do it, and he does it. Pardon me for that, I did forget. I appreciated it at the time, and I appreciate it now. All things considered though- Dru can stick up for herself. I don't agree with her on most things, but she can argue her points well. I don't see that Roy Karrde said anything so terrible to her either.

Clever little one liners about those you dont agree with dont show how intelligent you are, it just shows that your too scared or unequipped to debate properly.
