I just want to get this EP stuff straight - Help please!

Let's say I battle Tentacool w/ my Milotic. Tentacool usually gives you 1 Spcl. Def EP, but since my Milotic is wearing Macho Brace, it will give you 2 EPs instead of 1. Now, if I battle another, it will give me another 2 EP. Now, these 4 EPs will go into the Spcl. Def stat once my Milotic grows 1 level. What if I battle several Tentacool... Let's say, 16. Will my Milotic grow 4 extra Spcl. Def stats once it reaches a new level?

And, once wearing Macho Brace, your Speed stats will be lowered (will not increase like normal once you reach new levels). But I read that this can be reset... Am I right?

For example, you trained your Milotic with Macho Brace until it maxed out it's EPs... It's speed is 90 @ this level, when it should normally be 110. If I take off Macho Brace and deposit in a box, the game will recalculate these stats and reset them back to 110, right?

Yes, for every 4 effort points, the corresponding stat will increase by 1. In your scenario of fighting 16 tentacool, you will gain 8 Sp. Def points. You get 2 EP * 16 Tentacool = 32 Effort Points divided by 4 = 8... not 4 though.

The speed factor is not that it will increase irregularly. I may be wrong, but i'm under the impression that it either divides it in half or takes some percentage off. In any event, it does recalculate once the brace has been taken off.

The brace act likes your pokemon got hit with a speed reducing move. The macho brace doesnt alter stats at all.

Well, I heard many different stories. Someone said that it only halves your Pokemon's Speed during battle. Then, I saw in a FAQ (made by an expert), that it will affect your Speed Stats, but once you remove the Macho Brace and place the Pokemon in the box, it will be recalculated and be returned to normal. I just needed to make sure!

It's not like it's something you can't test out. Either way, your speed will return to normal once it's off... one way or another. I'm pretty certain that it just goes back to normal once you take it off from experience.

Well, I'm training my Milotic for Extra HP and Spcl. Att... Well, even though I battle enough Spinda and Marill to say that each level my Milotic should grow atleast 5 oh HP and 5 of Spcl. Att., but for some odd reason, it isn't.
