Whats really annoying me now....my Bench has scored 48 points. 1 Less than my starting team (although 2 of the big scorers are QB's)

But basically since i only have 2 left to play, and my opponent has 4...im not expecting to win my first week

My team was consistently poor. I love consistency.
With the score I'm toting now I'm looking like this year's BYE, only with much, much more smack.

I believe Sultans of Swing = DTZ. And yes, a WR scoring 25 points in a losing effort is insane.

Hmm, I'm not confident Washington can hold Westbrook back (Westbrook was gold for me last year), but fingers crossed!
And meanwhile, though I haven't been lighting up the league I've at least been having good luck on the sit/start calls; only left 20 points on the bench this week. I never thought my RBs would be my Achilles heel this year; they were last year's strength for the Torps. I don't care that they were completely different people.

Yeah, I think I'm in good shape this week. If I actually give up my 53-point lead, I'll eat Gavin's Collingwood hat.

But I'm already a touch nervous about week 6... Mr.E's putting up absolutely insane numbers. And it didn't help that I forgot to pick up Barber when he came off waivers. *kicks self*

See this is one thing ive noticed. Some of these games are getting very tight going into mondays games.

This week we have The Thunder trailing to the Torpedo's with only 1 player left to play for either team. He only needs 7 points and has been predicted 10 so its pretty much all down to his performance...
..meanwhile my match is going well 30 points up however my opponent still has 2 scores to come in. Unfortunately those are from his TE who is playing against his defence.

Some games are unfortunately not so close but i like how everything can change real quick.

I would've won in one of my other leagues if Campbell didn't horribly overthrow Moss wide-open on the game-sealing TD last night. :[

If you check out the rankings right now, the beast MB3 is currently the highest-scoring RB in our league. And he's MINE!

Too bad Ronnie Brown is horrible. Stupid auto-draft, *I* never would've taken him... *grumble*

Yeah, my game this week was a lot closer than it needed to be. Thank you for racking up a whopping three points, Baltimore!

And Mr.E, that's just ridiculous. How are you putting up 90+ numbers even when you're projected to take a fall? It defies comprehension. I mean, jeez, your KICKER put up more points than Peyton! What the heck?

(Of course, Stover happened to be my top scorer this week, but let's not get into that. Okay? Okay.)

A man with 172 points after three weeks of play should not be holding fourth place. That being said, I'm not complaining. Any chance we could start the playoffs now?

Here we go again. Too many injuries to handle and when i have 2 of my Quarterbacks playing against each other i choose McNabb who then decides to play a shocker getting Sacked 8 times before the end of the 3rd while Manning decides hes gonna be on form this week.

Looks like i aint stopping any Unbeaten streak this week.

    Well, you do have three players left... I'm actually slightly concerned, as I've seen Chad put up some 20+ numbers before. Then again, considering that your other two guys are Maroney and Watson, I'm probably still safe. ^_^;

P.S. Manning? You mean Eli? 6 points for a QB is not "on form," man. Now, Roethlisberger's 13 is fairly legitimate, but...

Either way McNabb went down to the Record number of Sackings in a game. Im surprised i didnt get a negative from him.

Aside from giving you negative run yardage and keeping you from throwing passes, sacks don't do anything to hurt your score (unless, of course, the QB fumbles). This big thing they can do is allow the opposing defense to rack up all kinds of points. Unfortunately, nobody owns the Giants D, so the whopping 27 points went to waste. So sad.

I know its unlikely theyre gonna repeat that sort of form but they do seem a team that like to take advantage of any mistake the opposition offence make.

The only way for a QB to get negative rushing yards is to be caught behind the line on a play clearly designed as a QB run. Sacks are not counted as negative rushing yardage toward the QB, just toward the team's total yardage. (Hence why QBs typically have higher rushing averages than RBs, too.) Of course, getting sacked still prevents them from throwing potential receptions for yardage/TD points.

Seriously, we should just stop the league now and declare me the winner.
