*If a Pokemon loses contact with the surface of Serenity, they will be automatically transported back by one of the referee’s Pokemon, and lose 5(%) health.
*Each Pokemon may only use Double Team once, and instead of its normal lasting time, it will only last one turn, as the clones have no gravity to stop them floating off into space.
*Toxic may not be used, and any powder-based moves have a higher likelihood of failure (70%) due to it being easier for them to disperse.
*Also, Serenity may not be damaged in any way, as this would injure the crew inside.

Weasel, I have a question. Does Earthquake work here? We're on the hull of spaceship, after all, so I wasn't sure...

The way I see it, Earthquake is a stomping attack that shakes the ground, so yes, I think it would work. Moves like Dig, however, that pierce the ground will not, as the hull cannot be broken.

Also, for moves that require stuff like water or seeds, the stuff needed for the attack will appear for the Pokemon to use, so that's alright. I don't think there's anything else to clarify, is there? I should go edit that into my arena, actually... you can sorta tell I wrote it when I'd only been up for half an hour, hehe... ¬_¬

The cellie is ringing. It's been awfully quiet here in the Reffing Tower, as most of the refs are on vacation or other assignments that drew them away. Leaving me and River, really. But for the moment she' was gone too. Lucky her..

I pick it up, to hear a raspy voice. Not knowing anyone with a raspy voice, I merely ask them what are they selling. They begin to talk about a ship, Serenity, something like that. I looked over to the Reffing board, and notice there was a request card still hanging up there.

Not really sure how that passed my eyes, really. So, I took the assignment.

Never really thought it was A REAL FRICKIN' SPACESHIP!Anyway, after I got over my initial excitement of being beamed up. I jumped in the nearest spacesuit I could, and ran out to join Dark Sage and Weasel Overload in this Immense Titanic Gym Battle of the AGES!

*ahem* Okay Rufus, let's bring it to this oversized lump of metal! Teach him a lesson he'll never forget! Start things off with a lovely Earthquake, methinks! Knock the bugger over, and then utilise your size and speed to clobber him with a combination of Aerial Ace and Brick Break! Use the Aerial Ace to nip where he can't reach you, and then Brick Break him like there's no tomorrow!

The silence is overpowering. Although there is a Sandslash and an a Aggron abut to engage in a titanic battle on this spaceship's hull, I am amazed by the immense silence that dwarfs Silver. I don't really have time to get caught up in the quietness of space, because Rufus slams his paws flat upon the hull, forcing energy of an earthly nature to shake the ship. The tremors reach Silver, but Silver watch as they vibrate themselves to nothingness, his buffering energy shield blocking the attack long enough before it spreads too thin to be maintained anymore.

Not taking anything for granted, Rufus keeps to the ground as he dashes over to Silver, juking left and right. Silver begins to materialize Water in order to throw at Rufus, but notices a slight problem. Water keeps floating away! Deciding to keep the attack in his jaws until firing, you could actually see water rolling up Silver's face as he knelt down to aim at Rufus.

Rufus managed to get close enough to Silver to dash under his legs and jabbed his left leg with his claws, pinpointing a spot to strike with his Aerial Ace. Silver turned to try and spot the wily Rufus, but that sting from the Aerial Ace took him by surprise, making him lift his right hind leg...

uncovering Rufus from his own girth. The watery blast crashed down, in front of Rufus, splashing and forcing Rufus backwards. Rufus shook off the water though, and dashed forward, fist powered with a fighters focus. Silver felt his forelegs being punched out from under him, Rufus aiming to Break Silver's Brick like stance.

Rufus dashed out form under Silver, whom was a tad upset. His body began to pulse, and with a mighty roar that was quick to dissipate once it left the energy bubble-Silver let his excess particles of his exoskeleton Burst free. Shards of Metal slammed onto Rufus, causing him to roll backwards down the "hill" of the ship towards the front.

By the way Dark, you'd better explain to Weasie your ruling for when a Pokemon's energy hits zero, so it doesn't come as a surprise.

Anyway...

Silver, use an Earthquake of your own first.

Then, charge at that little mole... uhm, hedgehog... uhm, whatever it is, and deliver a Headbutt.

Then, while you're still close, use Metal Claw.

Rufey, do try not to be intimidated by that over-sized lump of metal. If he takes you down, we'll pulverise him with a big meany, ok!? Now, lets start with a Rapid Spin! Right into his face! Then use a Focus Punch all nippy like, but combine it with that Rapid Spin so you spin and punch right into his face, haha. Then use a Focus Blast! Give him a taste of your rage!

===Round 2===


Space makes for an unique arena to fight in. I state this because Silver and Rufus, two mostly ground-dwelling animals, are battling atop a spaceship in the midst of space! Its really a sight to behold.

Weakened heavily from that last blow, Rufus tries to take this up a notch. He takes a moment to gather his energy, all the while undergoing the rigors of trying to stand as Silver pounds the ground with his forelimbs. The Quake knocks the pangolin over, but his determination is not broken, as he continues to spin rapidly! Shooting over to Silver, Rufus spins all up in his face!

Annoyed, Silver stands on his bruised hindlimbs to elevate his face away from Rufus, only to watch at Rufus jumps out of his Rapid Spin, uppercutting Silver! Both Pokemon are now airborne, and as such, begin to....float...away..omg that's scary...

But hey whoa...thanks Clefairy! They did their little wag-the-finger trick, and both Silver and Rufus were lowered back down. Silver does not look happy though.

Rufus: -17E/-13H ==///== Silver: -9E/-53H (inclusive of 5% loss from floating away)

Being back on the hull of the ship, Rufus vowed never to leave again. Already winded however, he held his arms about, building a slew of energy up in his hands..even as Silver began a bull-like run toward him. Horns were front and Center, and Silver aimed to make this Headbutt send Rufus sailing.

But Silver couldn't evade the massive Blast of Focused energy that flew out and slammed into him head on. Silver crashed through the blast, coming to a stop inches from Rufus's curled up body.

Silver stayed still , knocked out by that massive attack. Rufus looked utterly drained for the moment however.

Dude, it's only been like, a few hours. I AM at uni, you know...

But anyway! Rufey, here's a new vague threat, but hey! You did awesome to get rid of that numb-brained tank, well done you! (can you tell I hate giant, over-powered pokemon? lol) Let's begin this new round with a Rock Climb! Leap up and fasten yourself to his face, and then use a Focus Blast at point blank range, I think. Finish off with a Crush Claw to the face!

The third round of this space battle begins. I get an incoming message from the crew, but I press pause. I'm trying to ref a battle you know. Rufus, already showing heavy wear, dashes towards his new fur arm combatant, and uses Atlas' own arms to Climb up onto his face, and latch on there with a Rock solid grip. Atlas shakes to and fro for a while, but manages to grip Rufus spines, and tear him away from his face (not without leaving a nasty mark or 6.) Spinning as he does so, Atlas brute strength aids in his Throwing of Rufus free of the Vitally important gravity field. Rufus shrieks, and for a moment, you hear silence...

until Rufus suddenly shoots back onto the top of the Spaceship, near the burners. That..again..was terrifying.

Rufus: -6E/-14H (Vital Throw did 9) ==///== Atlas: -7E/-7H (Tearing Rufus off his face did 4 damage.)

With "land" under his feet, Rufus turned to watch as Atlas flexed a bit. Undeterred by the seemingly pointless flexing, A bright spark of energy was seen. Rufus Focus was unparalleled for a moment, before a second Blast of immense energy flew toward Atlas. Crossing his arms in anticipation, a barrier erected around him, dissipating the attack, but not without forcing Atlas to slide back against his will.

Damn, he Protected. No matter to Rufus, as the wily Sandslash dashed in close. Machamp watched the small creature, and charged up both of his right fists. Once close enough, he swung both fists down Dynamically upon Rufus as Rufus swung his left arm out to deliver a strong Crushing blow with his Claws. The attacks connected fists to claw, and each Pokemon snapped backwards, holding their wrists with their free hands.

Rufus eyes Atlas down, giving no indication that he was nearly down for the count. This was a Gym Match, nothing less was to be expected.

Rufus is in pain, although his body gleans lighter and lighter shades of brown. Machamp watches-almost mesmerized by the glowing Sandslash. He dosen't let the light captivate him fully though, and readies a stance to take whatever's incoming.

The incoming was Rufus himself, as he blasted forward, rocketing himself toward Atlas' midsection. Atlas did not fear though and swung his upper forelimbs down at the correct time, crashing them both down onto Rufus in a Karate Chop like fashion-knocking him out of the air. Hitting a fast moving object like that hurt, but not nearly as much as if Rufus would have connected.

Rufus lied on the ships battle surface, unconscious.

Right, if we're playing getting-out-the-big-boys, I see your Machamp and raise you one shiny male Gengar, name of Dream.

Dream! Let's show that many-armed freak how things are done atop the Firefly! Start things off with a Taunt, I like the sound of that. That way, he can't Protect when we use our Psychic moves! Mwahaha. Then use a Hypnosis! Follow up with Dream Eater if he's asleep, and Psychic if he's not.

Atop this spaceships hull, Weasel's next choice does not seem practical. A gas-like being in a place where gas dissipates? But that didn't stop Dream from appearing, no no. The Gengar bounced upon the surface as if it was terra firma. Slightly taken back, Atlas raised both sets of arms. using his pointer fingers and thumb on each pair of hands, he formed a triangle. Lining both up with his eyes, he had Dream in his sights..and he became infuriated at Dreams' ghastly statements about his perfectly sculpted body!

Dropping the move altogether, Atlas closed both sets of fists, and ran at Dream...

Dream: -3E ==///== Atlas: PISSED OFF!
*Taunt lasts for.... ick.. 6 actions*

Dream saw the onslaught coming, as Atlas charged up his upper sets of fists and clasped them together. Dream floated backwards, but Atlas' speed took him by surprise, and was subsequently bashed upwards by a Bullet like Punch.

Dream flew up, but unlike Rufus before, he was able to stop within the gravity field, saving himself from feeling totally de-molecularized in space. Floating, Dream began to release calming waves of energy that Atlas was unable to defend against. The fighter knelt down, using his hands to hold himself up from falling asleep completely.

Dream: -4E/-7H ==///== Atlas: -6E Drowsy

Atlas looked as if he was to fall under the effects of slumber. Dream welcomed this, by landing and raising his hands to begin a dastardly deed. However, Atlas began to rise. He was so pissed off, that sleeping was NOT an option. Shaking the effects of the Hypnosis off, Atlas ran at Dream.

Dream had a countermeasure ready, and Atlas stopped mid stride, holding his head. Falling to his knees, the Psychic headache was positively annoying. However, Dream would be in for a surprise. Atlas used his lower arms strength to catapult his body forward, upper fists forward. They gleaned akin to the color of space itself, and slammed into Dream's gut, causing him to fall backwards. Dream rolled on the Firefly for a bit, before stopping himself at the left edge. That hit..hurt?

Maybe making Atlas pissed off was not a good idea...

Okay, Atlas, since Foresight didn't work, Fighting attacks aren't going to work.

So we'll make do. Use Thunderpunch twice, then Flamethrower.

If he uses Psychic again, or any other Psychic attack, switch to Payback again.

If he puts you to sleep, use Sleep Talk until you wake up.

Okay Dream, let's begin with a Confuse Ray! Then let's turn this around with a Perish Song. Finally, just hang around until he hits you with his final move and then use a Psychic! He can't possibly counter you if he's already used his last move. Mwahaha.

Banned Moves: Substitute, Rest + direct healing moves (ones that do damage as well are fine), Attract and any other gender-based moves, Explosion and Selfdestruct.

Arena Rules:
*As space is a singularly noiseless place, no sound-based attacks will work.
*The same goes for weather moves, as there is obviously no weather in space.
*If a Pokemon loses contact with the surface of Serenity, they will be automatically transported back by one of the referee’s Pokemon, and lose 5(%) health.
*Each Pokemon may only use Double Team once, and instead of its normal lasting time, it will only last one turn, as the clones have no gravity to stop them floating off into space.
*Toxic may not be used, and any powder-based moves have a higher likelihood of failure (70%) due to it being easier for them to disperse.
*Also, Serenity may not be damaged in any way, as this would injure the crew inside.

In space, no one can hear you scream...

I guess our competitors know that. Since this battle began, I haven't actually HEARD anyone yell, i just saw their mouths open, and I just assumed as such. Anyway. Dream's off to a goofy start, foxtrotting around the hull of the ship, coaxing Atlas to give chase. Atlas does, charging up his right lower forearm's fist with a imbue of yellow.

Dream then bursts! I mean everywhere! Rays of light go shooting all over the place, confusing the heck out of everyone who just watched that. Atlas blinked at the display, utterly shocked. Where did that ghost go? A shady feeling crept up on Atlas, and he swung his charged fist backwards, connecting with...DREAM! The ghost sailed backwards, but regained control of its gaseous body before being pulled away into space.

The punch hurt, and Dream watched as Atlas' upper left forefist was already charged for a second round! It came down, punching Dream's body into the hull. Dream writhed in agony before Atlas let up, backing away.

Well, this had gone off far enough. Dream began to sing a horrid tune, something that could have struck a cord with Atlas down into his very soul. When the despicible song was over, Dream sneered, knowing he marked them both for death.

Or..at least he thought he did. But there was no lingering presence here...no omen of death. How come the song didn't work?

Atlas seemed unaffected by the tune, as he forced his body to build up a column of fire to shoot. Dream stood there, half expecting it, but at the last minute, watched as Atlas shot the burning blast straight up.

The Flamethrower cycled upward-and dissipated in a very short time-thanks to space pulling it apart. Atlas stared up and smiled, unfortunately still confused. The smile faded as he fell over to his knees, four hands holding his head in agony as the world seemed to bend and rip at his senses. Dream sneered-hovering almost directly in front of him, his Psychic was successful.

According to Weasie's own rules, sound-based attacks do not work here. So Perish Song should not have worked.

Right Dream, let's not have any more silly mistakes shall we? Start things off with a Sludge Bomb, methinks. Then, use a Fire Punch. Follow up with a Hypnosis, methinks. If he to physically attacks you at any time, use his own tactics and switch to a Payback, and if he Protects, use a Brick Break.
