I'll have the sign-up later tonight, but I want to dib a place now.
The thunder crashed outside the cold stone walls of what once was called the Church of the Guiding Light. No living thing had set foot within these hallowed walls since its caretaker was killed in the fight for the human race 7 years ago. Indeed, there were few living that had actually known there was a battle for the very survival of the humans of the world. One night was all it took, one night, and many dead. But most humans had gone on as nature indended they do, blissfully unaware of that which was not staring them directly in the face.
The night was cold, as the wind whipped violently outside, but she felt none of it, not even as a broken window occasionally sent stinging sprays of cold water upon her face. Her eyes were intent at what she had come for. Her hands shook as she gingerly picked up the large leatherbound book, worked in gold script. "Know thy enemy", he had said once, and indeed as she opened the book those words, written in a neat flowing script, echoed her thoughts like a ghost of the man himself.
Too many memories. The ghosts were heavy here, ghosts of the time where she feared for her life more than any other time. Here and there were smears of blood that told the story clear as words on a page. She did not want to be here. But she had what she came for, so drawing her cloak tighter around her and the book to keep both as dry as could manage, she swept from that haunting place of memory, and down the streets of Wood Water.
Its been seven years since the night that almost broke the world. Seven years since the natives of Earth, both human and vampire, drove off the invaders from the City of the Night high above in orbit around Earth. Their leader, the great and ancient Vampire known as Lantis, was killed just before dawn on the Night of the Blood Moon. Humans, dampiels, and vampires worked together to ensure the safety of all the world, for the invaders saw the Earth as theirs by right, and cared not for how much blood must spill to see their claim.
They had underestimated the determination of the inhabitants, and, indeed, living within their safe prison amoung the stars, they could not forsee the changes that had occured far below. The struggle to survive on the planet forced the humans to adapt from the docile cattle the vampires from the City had been used to.
But the ashes had long been blown away, dust from years ago barely worth remembering by those who knew of it in the first place. Life had gone on, the dead have been buried and laid to rest. There would always be those who mourned, but these also have realised the importance of living, for those that have died did so to ensure life to others.
Life had gone on, but darkness still rode on the cold wind as another fall turned to winter.
The wind blew past the streets of Wood Water, blowing across the tops of trees bordering the countryside, pine and oak, the latter all but bare of its leaves. The wind continued, harder and faster as it rose higher, past the cliffs bordering the ocean, dark as night and frothy, past villages and farms, until it seemed to hit an invisible wall at the edge of a City not unlike Wood Water. Here the wind had died, though it was no less cold. as small flakes of snow drifted slowly to the quiet street.
No living thing walked the streets tonight, but that didnt stop the shadows from drifting down each stone alley, it didnt stop Those Who Were Not Alive from roaming about Their city. For they were Lords, and the City's inhabitants were theirs to use and command.
And after all, who was there to say no to Those Who Dream at Sunrise?
Well after 3-4 years here it is, the sequal to Dawn of the Blood Moon. Dawn was the story of Wood Water City, and how in the Night of the Blood Moon they killed the invaders to their city, the vampires from the City of the Night, and protected their city from being controlled by the Ancient vampire Lantis. But Lantis and his people were only one small group from this great city, and their city was only one of many who were attacked in the night. Some managed to drive out the invaders much as Wood Water had, however....some were not as lucky. This RPG will start in Wood Water City, so keep that in mind when you sign up.
If you werent in or havent read Dawn, thats perfectly fine. If your going to sign up I dont want a tight assed, tiptoe-ing group of people writing this with me. If you are entertaining fears to post because of the misguided fear that you might get something wrong, dont bother. I want you to throw yourself into this story, and use all the creative ideas you want. Feel free to ask questions but the basics are here, its up to everyone in this rpg to write the plot that develops from it, not just me. I want partners in crime not vassals :>
Technology of the time: This Earth is one far into the future, but many pieces of technology were lost. There are some electric lights but very few, if you were very rich you might have a mechanical horse or a motorcycle, but such things are far from common. Most people ride horses and wagons, and use lit torches or candles. Guns are rather common for vampire hunters, and swords are worn by almost everyone not a peasant. Houses resemble mideval european structures made of stone or wood, or a mix of both.
Your background could stem from anything that would be seen in such a time period, and if you were previously in Dawn, feel free to update your past characters profile to include anything that occured within the past 7 years.
~Races~
Humans: Humans are weaker and live shorter lives than their vampire and dampiel counterparts, but they have a strong sense of survival and adaptation is one of their strengths. Those of weak wills may fall prey easily to compulsion, but strong willed humans are formidable in their own right. They also can find strength far exceeding their human forms in faith, as those strong in Gods faith can overcome odds that dont favor them. But despite all this, their human forms are still frail, and if they falter they can find themselves prey to those who see them as cattle.
Dampiels: These are the product of a union between a vampire and a human, usually the mother is human while the father is vampire. These unions are not always welcome, and more often than not it occurs when a vampire takes a woman against her will. Both mother and child become shunned by the human community once it is found out, even if the mother had no desire to lay with a vampire. Because they are both yet neither, Dampiels are hard pressed to find a home with either parents people. Humans fear them because of what they are and vampires find they are somehow less, and indeed dampiels are considered no better than humans by most ancient vampires. Many of these have taken to hunting vampires.
Vampires: Most vampires see the world as theirs by right, and the humans that inhabit it are cattle to be fattened and fed upon. The few vampires that aided the fight for Wood Water separate themselves from the others in that they only feed from those willing, or from animals. These vampires are not common, as most of the vampires remaining in the world are of the former type. There may be a couple that may turn away from those who believe the world is rightfully thiers, but these lay hidden for fear of being caught by their fellows.

I think I lost ye olde character sheet, but I could probably scrap it togetherFound it, editing for awesome.
Name: Ronin
Age: 27
Race: Dampiel
Appearance: He has long, wild brown hair, usually tied back and tucked under his black jacket. His reddish-brown eyes tell as much as the scar across his right cheek - a tale of hardship and endurance. Though still young, he has seems older, more worn - experienced. At a glance, he has slightly above-average height and is thinly built. However, it is more than he is leanly built (I think that's the word I'm looking for...). It gives him a balance of agility and power.
Ronin wears clothing that allows him to move freely. Style and looks don't matter to him - the mobility he can retain is what's important. He usually wears jeans and short-sleeved shirts. The only two things that seem to stay constant in his outfits are his long, trenchcoat-like jacket and the silver cross around his neck.
Weapon(s) of Choice: Ronin's carries two weapons with him. He carries a long-barreled pistol. The pistol is custom-made, very few like it. The weapon is heavier that most pistols - enough to give normal people discomfort when using it. It fires .50 caliber rounds and the longer barrel offers better accuracy.
His second weapon is a kodachi that he keeps concealed under his jacket on his back. There is no guard - allowing it to be concealed without notice. The length of the kodachi is less than the length of Ronin's torso, allowing the strapped sword and sheath to be kept under the jacket without any noticeable difference.
Powers: Not really powers. It seems that the rain and water-ish things don't affect him. Also, since he's wearing a silver cross, we can assume that he has resistance to silver.
Occupation: He seems to be a wanderer, going from town to town. Though, he seems to be a trail of dead vampires following him...
Personality: Ronin is mostly introverted. He keeps to himself and never stays in places long. Those that interact with him find him a man of little words, seemingly by choice. They say he seems to be in a constant state of seriousness. Some might say he resembles a weary, regretful old man.
History: At one time, Ronin had lived happily with a family. They had adopted him in spite of his vampiric heritage raised him as their own. As much as the rest of the community had been against him staying, the family fought for Ronin. He stayed there for three years, never feeling quite right about his place in the town - in the world. He eventually left and spent the next four years traveling the world, building his strength and gathering skills (like fighting with a kodachi).
Other: Original Trick Holds Each Route.

ZOMG :O I'm totally in. Uhm.... It's 5 AM, and I can't think about anything other than how I'd much rather go back to bed than to work, so I fear I must join everyone else with the reserving. I don't get the point of reserving if everyone is going to do so as well.... but seeing how absentminded I've been, if I get this onto my reserved threads list, I should actually remember... ~_~;;
But yeah. Can't promise that I'll post one tonight, but I'm going to aim for that.

Well despite all the mass reserved reserves i might get the actual first sign up in
He was in DOTBM (though a little altered) but unfortunately i kinda lost the plot and dropped. (You can all paddle me if i even think of doin that again)
Name: Keruga V'yorn
Age: 29
Race: Feran
Appearance: Stands roughly 6ft tall. Brown Hair, blue eyes. His canine teeth are slightly pointed but not overly. Wears Blue Jeans and a white vest with a long dark overcoat. This is not his true form however, merely a disgues as the true form of a Feran is what might be described as a were wolf crossed with a Cat. His head and muzzle are more Wolf like however his body is much leaner yet still very muscled and agile and his hands have the same retractable claws as a cat. His tail is also bushy and wolf like.
His fur becomes Dark along his back but slowly lightens, leading to Greys around his muzzle and some white on his chest.
Most of his clothes are abandoned when changing (other than the jeans which generally tear up into shorts to allow movement.
Weapon(s) of Choice: Carries a Sword on his Bike and a Repeater Pistol (basically an Autotmatic that fires very fast) at his waist. Only uses them in Human form. When changed its all about teeth and Claws.
Powers: General tracking senses. Hightened smell, hearing, night vision. Increased speed and agility in Feran form.
Occupation: Bit of a wanderer. Has been known to be a Bounty-man from time to time.
Personality: He's pretty serious these days. He's learned of the evil in the world and now travels around. Doesnt like to get attatched as that generally leads to pain though knows of a couple of people he would call friend. Doesnt mess around either. Doesnt like mind games and trickery. If someone tries being clever and tells him thing in riddles he's likely to beat a straight answer out of them.
History: Left Wood Water villiage many years ago. Before things got hairy. Something he regrets to this day. Has always avoided returning incase his shame caught up with him so spent many years moving from city to town to villiage. Never finding a place he felt comfortable. Like most Ferans he stays in human form whenever outside their underground dens and just didnt feel right living amongst the humans and essentially lying to those he called friend.
He has had many 'adventures' in the last few years and made a decent reputation for himself as a Bounty hunter. One of the few able to take down the more 'difficult' targets.
Has now returned to Wood Water tracking one of these Bounties and after hearing rhumours of something building, feels this is more than coincedence that he would be brought back here.
Relations: None. Has lived alone for many years. (The old charachters may remember the 'werewolf bloke' etc but he didnt bond with them that much)
Other: Rides a powerfull self built Bike.
Like THis but a little less Sci Fi and no Guns on the front. Has none of the Markings and is coloured Grey. (Yes the wheels are wide enough for it to stand without a kick-stand)
Afterworld ~ Chapter 2 | Blood Bowl ~ Chapter 3
If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through.

Second Sign up ^_^
Name: Azul
Age: is in his seventies, but looks in his twenties.
Race: Dampiel
Appearance: He stands at about 5’9’’ with a dangerously thin build (due to malnourishment) and deathly pale skin. His long, black, unkempt hair falls past his shoulder and is in tangles. His eyes are covered by a black leather blindfold.
His body is completely covered in black leather, complete with numerous buckles and straps. His arms are restrained, like a straight jacket and he wears a pair of black boots to match his outfit. A number of chains hang from his outfit, six in total.
Weapon(s) of Choice: The chains that hang from his body are used as whips, as well as gripping objects, since he cannot use his arms. Check: Powers.
Powers: He has some mental abilities, namely to control the chains that hang from his body. He can use them to grip objects in place of his arms, since they’re still bounded. He’s also decent at making his way around with sight, but that is due to him wandering around the undergrounds tunnels for seven years.
Occupation: none
Personality: Considered psychotic and animalistic by many. However, that’s not Azul at all. He can think rationally and figure out problems…if he could see them…Due to his long imprisonment, he’s lost in this world, almost frightened in a sense (he’s spent the majority of his life in silent darkness). While he will grow to trust others who mean him now harm, his trust is difficult to gain, especially if you’re human. Due to his treatment, he regards humanity as a threat and will attack at even the smallest sign of hostility. He is capable of speech, but due to not speaking in years, he’s almost forgotten how (he will gain this ability back later though.)
History: Unlike most Dampiels, his mother was the vampire, not the father. However, this didn’t make a difference as far as the people of the city were concerned. To them, he was just another half vampire abomination. Constantly abused during his childhood, Azul grew up alone. When he was seventeen, a mob captured him, beat him and then finally dragged him down to an underground chamber in the sewer system, chaining him up, blindfolding him and leaving him there to basically rot. Fifty to Sixty years later, the events that occurred during the vampire’s invasion allowed him to be freed from his confinement. However, since he couldn’t see, he’s been wandering the sewer system ever since…until now.
Relations: None

Sample RP post:
Seven Years Ago…
Silence. That was all he had known for these past decades. Chained up, forgotten, knowing only silence and darkness. His feet had not touched the ground in his long years of imprisonment. The taste of the stale air was all he could remember.
He could remember it clear as day. He had no other memories to cover it up. The beatings, the torment. He couldn’t help what he was. He didn’t choose to be born as he was.
He was brought out of his thoughts by vibrations through his chains. He could hear a rumbling coming from above him, muffled by some unknown feet of earth. Something was happening in the world above. Something big if it could be felt down here.
He heard a creak nearby, one of the chains slowly weakening. This was his chance.
He thrashed about breaking the bonds that held his legs together no problem. One by one, he heard a crack, followed by one of the chains falling slack.
As the last of the chains broke, Azul fell to the floor. He tried to get onto his feet, but kept stumbling around since he hadn’t used them in so long. It took him a few moments before he was standing.
Cautiously, he began moving around his cell. He tried to remember how big it was, and with his arms still bound, he couldn’t remove the blindfold that obscured his vision.
After a minute of feeling along the stone walls, he found the cold, rusted steel of the door.
Freedom. It was so close. He lashed out at the door with his feet, striking it hard. Thankfully, the rusted, neglected door soon fell to the kicks. The stale air of the cell was replaced by a more foul smell, the smell of the sewer systems.
Silently, Azul stepped from his cell, and began his seven year wandering of the sewers.
I'm in your dimensions, screwing with your reality!
Whee! I thought of a char to use, and here he is!
He's been around awhile, though I don't believe I've ever RPed with him. Meh.
Name: Gideon Cinzento III
Age: Appears 17, but is actually 26
Race: Half Dampiel. A vampire with only one-fourth the calories!
Appearance: His ancestors were Brazilian and has black hair, but he has light skin and smoother hair, as well as sharp blue eyes. He's about 5'11", with a slender body. There is a large, jagged scar on his right cheek in the shape of a cross. His canines are slightly pointed, but not enough to betray his origins unless you are actually aware of what a half dampiel's dental records look like.
Weapon(s) of Choice: He keeps a small gun on him, but prefers not to use it. He avoids fights when he can, uses his words to get out of fights he can't sidestep, and the scar on his face is enough to keep all but the most persistent and powerful vampires away. However, he also keeps a realistic squirt gun and a pocket knife with him: the former because, as a priest, he's got unlimited access to holy water and the latter because...well, pocket knives are useful.
Powers: He has only a smattering of vampiric power, such as aging slower (though continuing to age) healing more rapidly (but not that fast), having slightly better senses, and being an edge stronger and faster than he should be, but not enough to stand out or stand up to a full vampire. He can mesmerize, but it's easily shaken off by all but the weakest minds, so he doesn't bother with it often. The only power that he does use is the ability to sense others around him. He doesn't seem to exibit any vampiric weakness besides a strong tendency to sunburn and becoming sick after eating garlic. Crosses and holy water have no effect on him, which is probably for the best, considering his profession. He doesn't know if he can drink blood, and has never tried.
Occupation: Officially a Catholic priest, his real work is as a vampire hunter, of sorts. He can find vampires and direct others to them, or even conduct diplomacy with those that are open to it. Another important job he has that he conducts less often is delivering messages and parcels to areas that are generally too dangerous for the average priest to go. There are also hints that his assignments lead to thievery and assassination, but those are rumors.
Personality: He's generally patient and calm, moving purposefully through whatever schedule that has been presented to him on a given day. He prefers routine, but can, and must, quickly adapt to altered situations. He doesn't enjoy confrontation, so he'll usually yield to another if he's not on a job or yielding is not a good idea at all. He's inquisitive and an adept listener, which is how he gathers most of his information. His biggest problem with his inborn curiosity is sticking his nose just a little too far into the business of others. Doing that simutaneously excites and freaks him out. Luckily, his survival instinct is strong enough that he doesn't seek trouble out.
History: His grandmother, a human, had been the one to give birth to a dampiel, those cursed to live in neither the light or the dark. He never knew her, as she was killed soon after others in her town discovered what had sired her child, Gideon's mother. Though his mother was indeed beautiful, as dampiels are, that same eerie otherworld air sent possible suitors away. It wasn't until her late thirties - though her looks remained those of a maiden - that she met an married Gideon's father, one who knew about her breeding and either accepted or chose to ignore it. She wasn't his first wife, so there were three other children already in his home, and had only one child by her: the fourth one named Gideon. Gideon was never informed of his mother's past, and he never cared, as only a child could, about his mother's faults.
It was during a vampire attack on the small settlement Gideon's family called home that he lost her. His father and elder siblings had left for town that day. Mother was left to tend to the house without everyone underfoot, and Gideon was left home due to his young age. Why the vampire had attacked, he didn't know, but his mother sensed it in time to do the few drastic things she could to protect her son. She sliced open the cross-shaped scar on his face and had done the same to the palms of her own hands after hacking out a crude wooden stake with a kitchen knife and a chairleg. When the vampire came, his mother was able to hold it down with her dampiel strength and the searing crosses on her hands long enough to drive the chairleg through its chest. She was simutaneously called a hero and a monster, for only a monster could deal with a vampire alone like that. Though Gideon was unaffected by the cross on his body, the twin crucifixes on his mother acted like a slow poison that took her life several months later.
When he became older, he learned the truth about his mother's parentage from his father. He grew and left home, uncertain how he felt about vampires. He had seen how feral they were, but also knew that they couldn't be all bad, considering the love he had gained from his mother. He somehow found himself working as a priest, where he chose to try to mend the relations between vampires and humans at least a little.
Relations: I'm open! I'm open! *punted in face with football*
Other: He has a variety of outfits, so he doesn't aways run around in priest robes. Not that he could do spywork with a face like his.
Sample RP post:
It was dim and confining within the confession booth, which had always been comforting to Gideon. Perhaps that was the vampire in him, that ancestral desire to sleep away the day in a coffin. He didn't sleep at night, but that was mostly out of necessity. Most of his work couldn't be done in daylight. His foot jiggled up and down as he sorted out the mental list he kept for times like these, times where he could go to a church that already knew him and wouldn't be too surprised by what they heard. The side panel opened, allowing a pool of light into his own booth. Gideon stared at the wood paneling of the door before him, but took a glance at the screened view of Father Unsung, and elder priest who had, through the fierce battle with time, kept all of his hair, no matter how white it became. Gideon always admired him for that, for no known reason.
Gideon quickly made the sign of the cross. "Bless me, Father, for I have sinned." Father Unsung remained quiet. He knew that Gideon needed to say everything without interruption if he wasn't going to go offtrack and forget something. "It's been two months and six days since my last confession. Since then, I have broken seven of His Ten Commandments." Father Unsung raised an eyebrow, but kept silent.
Gideon took a deep breath before continuing. "First, I have worshiped a false idol. At the time, it was to do His work, and I did not give my heart to the false god, but I was forced to profane His name by raising praise to it, thus earning trust within a covert band of fanatical vampires. Second, I killed five, though it was in self-defence. They had, as they said, taken exception to my face, which may vary well be the case." Gideon touched his scarred cheek subconsiously at that. "I tried to dissuade them, but they began employing enough force to kill me - a table and several barstools thrown a high velocities, to be specific - and they prevented escape, so my hand was forced, but I know their deaths still stain me with sin.
"Third, this fight took place on the Sabbath, where not only did I kill, but I also failed to attend church....I haven't attended Mass in a while, so list me as missing around eight or nine. I would, but churches are scarce where I work, and it makes me more conspicuous. Fourth, I, while extracting information from a vampire-hating human, wished all vampires and their ilk into Hell, thus dishonoring my mother and father. I didn't mean it in my heart of hearts, but even pretending to is a sin. Fifth, I stole various articles, a full list of which I cannot repeat, though it did include earrings, several letters, three boxes of crackers, and a silken sheet, which was not stolen so much as taken for as long as I needed it to leave the estate I was in."
Father Unsung's eyebrow raised again.
"There was a masked toga party. I snuck in, planning to escape once the party started in ernest, but had only heard the 'masked' half of the dresscode."
The eyebrow lowered, but only slightly.
"Sixth, I lied on too many occasions to name, so I shall not bore you with a list. Seventh, I took the name of the Lord in vain far too often. Some could be counted as prayers not to get caught, but the oaths when that horse stepped on my foot were too far out of line." Gideon sighed and slumped back in the wooden chair. "That's it."
Father Unsung remained quiet for a moment longer. "You only missed three, you know," He finally said in his soft baritone. "I always wonder if you are going for a record or some such thing."
"No, I'm not. I'm not married, so the adultry one is hard and would require me to covet another's wife, which I've yet to do. And I've never appreciated any of the houses I've seen enough to covet them. Although..." Gideon trailed off and spoke after a moment. "What would I need to do to really impress or shock a priest?"
"Commit an original sin," Father Unsung decided. "And I mean original. None of this 'I cheated on my wife' business. I've heard tales of a man who would commit bizzare, outlandish, and outrageous acts just to have them deemed original."
"Which was - "
"I'm not telling you which was the most original, but it involved a badger and a spoon. I won't repeat any more than that." Father Unsung sighed. "I'll tell you your penance in the morning. For now, get a shower and sleep. I know you just dragged yourself in here."
"Thank you, Father," Gideon said. He got up to leave, but sat back down.
"What did you forget?" the father asked.
"Make that eight. There was this one woman, the wife of a wealthy merchant. She was....I can only say she was hot."
Father Unsung chuckled. "Appreciating the human form is not a sin."
"Well, she had one form to sin over, that's for certain." Gideon stood and opened the door to the booth. "Her toga was topless."

Hi. My self-induced hiatus of insanity may be over (Details at eleven).
Shameless Comic Plug: "Earthsong." Purple people and gargoyle dragons and samurai girls (oh my).
Name: Yuar Oro AKA Draconin (To some, he is known as Yuar Link)
Age: Unknown – old enough to have been around when Lantis was a vampire punk and before Myra’s birth. (GAH… I’ll edit it when I can think of the approx age. >.<)
Race: Vampire
Appearance: Draconin: When Yuar is under the alias as draconin, he attempts to change his appearance a bit. His skin is completely raven-esque black and his eyes change to a deep, subtle crimson red. His hair remains auburn in color, but it seems to be a little bit longer in the back and reaches just about midway down his shoulder blades. (Yah know, the bishie way. xD) He adorns a shortsleeved tight black shirt along with black jeans. Upon his feet he continues the black trend with black tennis shoes. (like a punk!) His overall ‘black’ appearance makes him extremely hard to detect when it comes to movements- especially in a fight.
Yuar Oro: Yuar Oro stands about 6’4 with an athletic yet lean build. When he wears long sleeves he seems to be your average fit creature, but it isn’t until you actually see his body that you see the strength within him. His skin is very pale, like most vampires but his eyes are a striking olive-green colored that is flecked with bits of yellow. His hair is a thick, silky auburn that looks disheveled but yet beautifully so- some strands brushing in front of his eyes while others like to laugh at gravity in the wind. (Think Tooya from Ceres to get the hair idea.) He wears a black, skin-tight shirt that hugs his upper torso and also wears black pants that aren’t quite jean or leather material. Over this he wears a dark blue jacket that reaches halfway down to his calves. The jacket itself is slitted in the middle behind him, so it doesn’t hinder his movements. Cuffs are upon each sleeve and seem to be a lighter blue color, rimmed with a metallic-looking trim on both the cuffs and the collar. He usually wears his jacket open, and the material seems almost enchanted for it doesn’t seem to make sound when he moves.
Weapon(s) of Choice: Fate’s Sword: A mythological sword that was forgotten ages ago. Yuar stumbled upon two daggers back in his early day and identified them as the dagger of night and the dagger of day. He gave Gyvien the Dagger of Day back when she was a child. Then on the night of Lantis’s demise, Gyven died but was brought back to life with the magic within the daggers- it seemed almost to be a neccissary component. Upon completion of her revival, the two daggers and bound themselves together to form one giant sword which Yuar instantly recognized from his childhood books. He now has it permanently attached to his side. It’s blade is unique in itself, being made out of a semi-transparent jewel that could almost seem like a mixture of diamond and obsidian. The hilt of a sword is also a mixture of seemingly gold and silver, with intricate and ancient markings etched all over it. He also has a gun in his jacket, but he rarely uses it- seeing it useless although he’s quite competent with it.
Powers: Yuar has what most vampires have, although his hand-to-hand combat style is a little bit more effective than most. As a child he was trained by Lantis, and soon with his bloodline intact he surpassed his master. He’s got the strength, speed etc… like vampire’s do, but he has worked to perfect his skill along with his natural given vampiric talents. He’s quite adept with use of human weapons, but he prefers swords to guns. Ironically enough however, he taught Gyvien for a short while how to use both as well. She has taken up the other of the two for her prowess.
Occupation: Hunts. No one is quite sure how Yuar makes money… but for the past few years, Yuar has seemed to have “disappeared”. Instead he’s been living under his alias, Draconin and the two names haven’t been matched. As Draconin, he basically goes and pursues those who he views ‘in wrong’. Humans who needlessly kill innocent vampires and dampiels, Dampiels who needlessly kill innocent vampires or humans, and of course… vampires who kill innocent humans or dampiels are all who he hunts. Yuar doesn’t believe in slaying the innocent, nor does he believe it matters what race you are.
Personality: Yuar is a bit of a mystery himself. His past is deep and complex, riddled with a good mixture of dark times and angst which have shaped his character to be the calm, clear-headed creature he is now. He’s quite the thinker and is usually slow to any particular emotion. He’s compassionate and kind to the innocent but on the other side of the coin he’s a vicious, cold-hearted killer to those he hunts. Still, it takes an incredible amount of power or wrong-doing to really anger Yuar so much that he goes into a blood-thirsty rage, but it lingers within his gaze. In fact, if anyone studied Yuar’s face long enough, they would be able to see the inner workings of a wise and perhaps frightening hunter beneath. Yuar generally also leaves information to himself, and only gives out information if he really thinks others need it. This can lead to some frustration.
History: Yuar Oro was born in the City of the Night and at that time, was known as Yuar Link. He was born to the Link family (hahahah… ten points for who they are. XD) and was in a way, labeled as a Prince for being born into the noblest of bloodlines. At a very young age he instantly began to show a knack for studies and the fighting arts; quickly catching on to anything that was taught to him and striving to become better than what he learned. His master at one point was Lantis, who taught him a great deal of history and fighting itself. But after several years of training, Yuar surpassed his master even at his young age. Disgruntled and realizing his original plan to use Yuar as a pawn to gain power in the City of Night, Lantis refused to mentor Yuar further.
Not soon after, Lantis made a rather secret trip to Earth. Getting of wind of this and being highly curious, Yuar snuck aboard and went to Earth as well. During that time, Yuar found humans and ran into a dampiel, where he conversed and actually had pleasant interactions with them and some how resisted the urge to feed since he had never tasted blood. But he was found out by Lantis and upon returning to the City of the Night, Yuar was accused of plotting against the City. It was a rather ridiculous accusation, but by this time Lantis nearly had every high official won over. Yuar was found guilty and was sentenced to death.
However, seeing through Lantis, Yuar’s mother feigned his death and secretly sent him to earth so that he could live. There, Yuar spent the rest of his childhood and teenage years upon Earth. Wanting revenge against Lantis, Yuar trained hard and learned as much as he could to strengthen his resolve.
At one point in this time, Yuar heard through rumors that another Link had been born. Using his connections, Yuar made an elaborate plan and made it back to the City of the Night. There he snuck through the city and discovered that he now had a younger sister- Myra Link. He watched over her until he discovered Lantis was now mentoring her. When the death of his mother took place, Yuar went back to earth. He felt that Lantis had too great a hold over his sister and trying to contact her in the city where he was supposed to be dead would not have been a great thing.
More time passed until eventually vampires began reintroducing themselves to Earth. One night Yuar stumbled upon a baby that was thrown in the trash and easily discovered the baby was a dampiel. He raised her until she was about seven or ten years old and named her Gyvien. He taught her as much as he could before one night he got wind of a planned attack against him was approaching- an attack rooted by Lantis. He swiftly left Gyvien with a dagger, telling her to run. Gyvien ran off and Yuar was attacked by a group of vampires. He managed to kill them all… but Gyvien was no where to be found afterwards. Hoping she had gotten away, Yuar went onwards.
START DotBM TIMELINE:
Yuar soon came across Myra Link, Rudy Summers and Gyvien Summers. At the time he did not recognize who Myra or Gyvien were, but as time grew on he came to realize that Myra was his sister and Gyvien was indeed the dampiel he had saved so long ago. Their journey was long as they came together and hunted for Lantis. A great deal of pain was caused to all of them… and mostly Yuar went through a great reflection period. Seeing Myra go through the emotional torture she had, along with Gyvien caused him to change a little. This was especially true when Myra was saved by Rudy and Gyvien had originally died.
After the defeat of Lantis and Gyvien had come back to life, Yuar left the trio and bade them farewell. Since then, he’s been missing for seven years according to those three. In actuality, he went on a bit of a journey for five years and since then has returned under the alias of Draconin.
It is also good to note that Yuar had a few run-ins with a Vampire named Vylianne. Vylianne seemed to be tricky and a bit strange… not really helping nor dis-helping the group. He seems to have a strange history with her, which he also doesn’t seem proud of.
Relations: Considered a ‘guardian’ of Gyvien, brother of Myra. Any other relations are welcomed.
Other: Not as of yet.

Name: Gabriel
Age: 25 (not real age)
Race: Vampire
Appearance: Gabriel is a lanky 6”3’, his slimness making him less imposing than his height might suggest. Shoulder-length blonde hair is streaked with black, a mark of his heritage. He has ice blue eyes and a slim jawline. The rest of his body, if exposed, is thin yet defined. He wears a simple cassock over his body, usually kept in good condition yet sometimes dirtied by his work. On his back is a double holster that seems to be a cross between a gun holster and sword scabbard. Around his neck, inside and outside of his cassock, he wears several crosses of various materials. He makes sure to keep the crosses Inside of his cassock are several pockets in which he keeps other supplies, he has to open the cassock to gain access to them, revealing a simple button-up white shirt and black pants.
Weapon(s) of Choice: Gabriel wields two pistols with very elongated, triangular barrels named the Velvet Nightmares. The barrels taper as they extend, shrinking to just large enough for the bullet to exit the gun at the end. The bottoms of the triangle of each barrel is razor sharp, allowing the guns to be used as something of a gun/dirk hybrid. The handles of the guns are slanted backwards and a special loading mechanism and trigger are built in to allow this modification. The guns themselves are silver, though only in color. Gabriel usually uses normal bullets but he does have one magazine of bullets alloyed with silver he obtained from melting down a silver cross he discovered in a destroyed church several years ago. Although not pure silver, the bullets would have increased stopping power against those weak to the metal.
Powers: Gabriel has increased agility, speed, and strength thanks to his heritage allowing him to leap long distances and move faster than most humans alive. This is the extent of the abilities granted by his vampiric blood since he has not fully embraced it and to enhance his abilities would put him in danger of succumbing to it.
Gabriel’s intense faith also gives him some abilities when fighting his enemies. Namely, he can sanctify his shots though this ability decreases in magnitude the more he uses it (he could intensely power a single shot but not so much a full magazine). He can also bless weapons and areas to give them a similar effect. Finally, his faith gives him something of a limited precognition powers in which he trusts his movements and actions completely to his faith which seems to work out much of the time (think somewhat similar to the Force for Jedi’s but...but God powered)
Occupation: Priest/Hunter. Gabriel hunts Vampires (and possibly Dampiels) who consume humans as though they were livestock, all the while spreading his vision of faith to those who will listen. He is more understanding to those Vampires who attempt to be at peace with those around the, being something of one himself though he still clings to his humanity, as of yet resisting the urge to drink blood and thus, in his mind, not fully finishing his transformation. He fears that to succumb to his urges would make him unworthy in the eyes of God to continue his divinely given quest. It is interesting to note that Gabriel really isn’t a member of any “religion” per-say, having developed his own opinion of faith through his readings and his own personal relationship with God. This can lead to some conflicts with priests of other religions who might see him as something of a Charlatan, and who he might see as woefully misguided.
Personality: Gabriel has found the ability to be kind to those who shun him in his faith. He is protective of those weaker than himself and defiant against those who would force their will upon others. He has a habit of quoting passages of scripture in applicable situations and then following up with his own opinion as well. There are times where he takes on a darker persona, those times being the ones where he is fighting with his own internal nature as a vampire, refusing to accept the loss of his humanity fully. Finally, he has an extremely dry sense of humor and wit, saying some things completely inappropriate to what one would expect from a Priest.
History: A long time ago Gabriel was somebody, a human of importance amongst his peers and that is what made him the target that he eventually became. Rising in prestige and power amongst his human community, a vampire long since killed sought to transform the young man so as to use his influence to bring the entire community under his sway. It was after a meeting that lasted far into the night that Gabriel was attacked, the relative absence of vampires in his area of the world making him and his kin careless and frivolous in their defenses against things of the night. Seduced by the power, willingly submissive, or violently forced, Gabriel himself cannot recall how the vampire completed the transfer of blood needed but the youth woke the next night into an entirely new world. The plan backfired, Gabriel was discovered within days, most of which he spent hidden in his house, afraid of what he had become, and violently expelled from his community by his loved ones and threatened with death by his peers. He wandered, refusing through force of will to consume the blood that he constantly thirsted for, despite the attacks from his former species, despite the opportunities offered to him, despite his lonliness, rage, and despair.
Weak and delirious from his constantly raging emotions, he stumbled into an isolated, ruined church far from his original home. Destroyed years ago for whatever reason, and left to rot being too isolated from safety for anyone to consider inhabiting it, the church was initially just one more shelter. Gabriel collapsed inside, rolling in agony as his urges washed over him again and again. He no longer believed he could overcome them, knew that the next time they came he would rise and slaughter whatever living, breathing, thinking thing he found first and feast like the starving creature that he was. He cried out for help, for anyone, and his eyes fell upon the toppled cross of the church. Something answered Gabriel and in a wash of relief, the cravings faded. Gabriel passed out from his weakness. No one emerged from the church for weeks. If anyone had been fool enough to travel so far into the wilderness to find the destroyed building, one might have looked into a window to find a disheveled man reading fervently at an intact table, pushing feverishly through cates and turning over fallen stones to find the door to the bottom levels of the church, emerging with a garment of black cloth and a decorated box, and kneeling for hours before the fallen insignia of God.
He emerged transformed once again, but in a different way. The violent vampire within burned like boiling water barely contained by its lid, but a faith that was growing ever stronger pressed down on that lid with ever increasing strength. His calling was clear to him, given to him by his new master. Two silvered guns rested on his back, his own tools of divine retribution against those who annihilated everything he used to be.
Relations: Gabriel has been traveling with Draconin for the past half-year or so. Draconin has trained the younger “vampire” as they have traveled, more so in how to use his pistols as bladed weapons rather than improving his already impressive aim. Gabriel has helped Draconin in several hunts so far, and respects the obvious difference in strength between them at this time and the fact that Draconin is willing to help uplift Gabriel despite it.

Hi. My self-induced hiatus of insanity may be over (Details at eleven).
Shameless Comic Plug: "Earthsong." Purple people and gargoyle dragons and samurai girls (oh my).
Oooooh! I’ve heard much of the awsome-ness of Dawn of the Blood Moon from Kalah. I hope I get accepted!
Name: Titus Arrius
Age: Early 200’s though he appears early 20’s
Race: Vampire
Appearance: Titus is around 5’ 8” tall with a very lean build. He has longer blond hair that he keeps in a loose ponytail and innocent looking green eyes. Throw all this in with his pale, smooth skin and Titus doesn’t look at all like a fighter. Though he tries to dress badass with his long billowy cloak, combat boots and leather gloves; all black. This gives him a slightly humorous appearance.
Weapons of choice: Two semi-automatic .50 caliber pistols are Titus’ main weapons, and he is highly effective with them. But guns to not always stay in hands and ammunition can run out, so Titus also has a short blade, about a foot long hidden along each forearm of his cloak. These are spring activated and can pop out very quickly.
Powers: As far as strength goes Titus is relatively weak when compared to other vampires, and even some dampiels. However, Titus has yes to meet a vampire, or any being, that could match him in speed. Though he has never really run into the most ancient of vampires.
Occupation: Something akin to a mercenary. Titus will wander into a town; if they have a problem (usually vampire extermination) he will accept a minor fee for solving it, though really just enough money to get by. His main goal is to protect the innocent, mainly humans, from those who would prey on them, mainly vampires.
Personality: Titus seems to be a big goof. He is always in a good mood, though is a total clutz, makes plenty of mistakes, and is quite easy to laugh at. Though this is, for the most part, an act. When it times become serious, so does he, and Titus can be very cut-throat in battle. (Think Vash the Stampede, minus the refusal to kill.)
History: Of any vampire you will meet, Titus possibly has the oddest history, though he’d probably change the subject if you ever asked him about it. When Titus was very young, around the age of ten, his family was killed by an unknown vampire and he was turned. Why he was turned, or even left alive, Titus has no clue. Fortunately for him, a human couple with no children of their own took him in and raised him as their son. Titus’s adoptive parents lived in a very secluded part of the country, where others rarely traveled. So it was the perfect place for a couple of humans to raise a their vampire child. It was out here that Titus’ father taught him how to shoot a gun,(well) and a strong sense of right and wrong. And although he does drink human blood; because of the way he was raised, Titus does his best to feed mainly on animals.
Relations: Probably none, his adoptive parents have been dead for quite some time, and Titus never stays in one location for long.
Other: The man loves cheese.
Sample RP post: Well, it’s getting pretty late, and I have class early in the morning… so I promise I’ll get this up really soon! ^_^ Like, tomorrow.

I think it's safe to say I've got more than a reserve here ^_~
Name-Rudy Summers (sometimes called the Blue Devil by humans)
Age-24 (appears to be about 18)
Race-Vampire
Appearance-Stands at 5'10". Rudy now has shoulder length blue hair which he keeps tied back and blue eyes. His eyes turn red when he starts to become more aggresive such as in a battle. Clothing wise he's the same for the most part prefering dark blues and blacks but he looks like he's invaded his sister's closet as he now prefers a dark trenchcoat to his old denim jacket. While he obviously hasn't shown signs of aging in seven years Rudy looks a little older now due to his new appearence and the new confident look he carries in his eyes since the battle with Lantis.
Weapon(s) of Choice-Still prefers his katana and daggers with some minor alterations to his katana. It now carries an engraving of a wolf on the blade and a blue sapphire at the end of it's handle.
Powers-In addition to the usual vampire powers Rudy has started to develop a few psychic type powers over the past few years. Occassional from seemingly out of nowhere he'll get visions of the very near future. It acts like a danger sense and it mainly triggered whenever someone he cares about is in grave danger. Since the end of Dawn he has nearly perfected being able to telapathicly speak to his family. While he can't exactly read minds Rudy can also somewhat sense the motives of people. As a result lying to him isn't easy but that doesn't mean it's impossible. As a final part of his new bag of trick Rudy has been learning how to focus his power and give some of it to someone else for a short time. Right now it carries major limitations. So far he's been only able to do it with those in his bloodline. In short that means only Myra or Gyvien (since Yuar hasn't been aroudn he hasn't had the chance to try it with him yet). In addition it leaves him in a very weakened state for awhile. On the flip side however it improves Myra/Gyvien's speed in battle as well as their healing powers. He's mainly done this in dire situations where weakening himself would be a better option than letting one of them go around injured severely.
Occupation-Vampire hunter first and foremost. He use to fight vampires that drank blood with no care for the reason. However since Rudy now falls into that category himself he's much more careful about it and saves the hunting for those that openly kill with no care for their victim. In recent years he's gone so far as to be a trainer or sparring partner for some young hunters....provided they can find him.
Personality-Laid back and friendly are the words to best describe Rudy despite the fact he wasn't always that way. Hotheaded and brash would have fit much better in his youth. The one downside to becoming a blood drinker that he absolutely hates is that those personality traits as well as a slight temper will surface if he hasn't fed in awhile. However the extreme violent and wild side that earned him his nickname is nowhere to be found. He'll always do everything to protect his family and will put himself in harms way if it'll keep them safe. On some occassions however if pushed too far reason and common sense in a battle may go out the window. Protecting those that can't defend themselves is always his first goal.
History-(Pre Dawn)
Son of a pair of vampire hunters. His father was born a vampire and his mother had been turned into one a few years before he was born. Had a rough life growing up. Lost his mother shortly after being born. His initial experiences with humans are what led to his violent side and hotheadedness. When he was 13 he slaughted a whole group of vampire hunters after him and his father were caught by them and he was forced into watching and believing his father died in the attack. This event taught him that if he didn't let go of that anger he would eventually become the very thing his parents went after. When he was 16 he and his father were attacked by a vampire named Oyar who had an extreme bone to pick with the Summers family. Rudy was injured pretty bad but would make it. His father would not be so lucky. Before dying he revealed his biggest secret to Rudy: that he had a dampiel half sister. The reasons for how it had happened remained unknown to Rudy however. The only bit of info he could give to him before his death was that she was about four years older and that it would be around the area of Wood Water City where he'd be mostly likely to find her.
(During Dawn)
October 15th, 12110
This day began the longest 48 hour period in Rudy's life. A small series of rather bad luck found Rudy teamed up with Myra Link who had just arrived on Earth from the City of the Night. This chance encounter eventually led him towards meeting Gyvien and Yuar as well as the rest of the main cast of Dawn. Upon his first meeting with Gyvien there was a feeling that he knew her despite never meeting her at all. Following the discovery that she was a dampiel and noting her age it didn't take Rudy long to put two and two together. Rudy's first attempts to connect with her failed when she was not prepared to acknowlege the fact that she had a brother. Despite his nature all she saw in him was another vampire. It wasn't until he got his first vision and saved her from a certain death at Oyar's hands that she started to cool off towards him a bit. While Yuar and several other characters dealt with a different threat Rudy, Myra and Gyvien survived another encounter with Oyar. Shortly before that battle Rudy admitted that Myra was having an effect on him no woman ever did before and that he was starting to fall of her. Eventually Rudy learned from Myra about Lantis: a vampire and master manipulator who who looking to take back what he percieved to be a world that was his. Unlucky for them however the next night was a Blood Moon. Those that didn't drink blood were weakened to about the level of a human and gained an extreme need to feed. Vampires that did became much more dangerous. Before long Rudy was face to face with Lantis. Despite his weakened state he attempted to protect Myra and Gyiven full well knowing that the chances of his survival were next to none. Shocking revelations about his family's past are what lost him the battle. Lantis was the one resposible for turning his mother and as a result this pretty much made him family too. Defeated in simply one blow he was taken captive by Lantis who merely did not percieve the others to be a threat. Following torture at his hands Rudy managed to escape with the help of the mysterious Vylianne but ultimately returned to where Lantis was upon coming to the conclusion that Myra and company would look for him there. On his return he discovered that Myra was now captive through mind control and that she had been forced to drink blood by Lantis. As a result this would doom her to needing to do so for the rest of her life. After saving her Rudy and Myra started the final battle with him but in the course of it Rudy had to watch injured and helpless as his sister was murdered by Lantis. As the final breaking point Rudy let loose the same rage he did on that group of vampire hunters that had tried to kill him and his father. This allowed him to weaken Lantis enough for the final blow to be given by Myra. Following the batter the daggers Night and Day that were carried by Yuar and Gyvien reformed into the sword know as Time and actually managed to bring Gyvien back from the dead. With everything in place to return to normal Rudy did the only thing he could. He expressed his wish to be with Myra forever by kissing her bloodstained lips not allowing her to go through that fate alone.
(Post Dawn)
Much has happened in seven years. Yuar had left shortly following the battle with Lantis. Not too long after Rudy and Myra shared their blood with one another in a vampiric ritual that for all intents and purposes would be the equvalent of a human marriage. Eventually they settled in an out of the way area of the forest near Wood Water that was extremely difficult for humans to get to or even find. Rudy has taken a more Yuar like stance with vampire hunting. He now solely hunts only those that do not care for their victims well being. In addition to hunting vampires if he comes accross humans commiting crimes around the city he'll personally see to it that it ends quickly. Despite being criminals Rudy will not kill them if they are human. He prefers to rough them up and then leave them in an area where they would be found easily by the proper authorites. These are the humans Rudy prefers to feed off of but in the event he's got no choice but to look for a random victim he'll carefully do so by knocking them out and taking a very small amount of blood. Afterwards he'll treat their wounds himself and usually leave them somewhere safe such as a nearby church.
Relations-Myra Summers (Wife/Linked by blood), Gyvien Summers (Half Sister), Yuar Link (Brother in Law)
Other-Due to his nature of hunting dangerous vampires, going after criminal humans and doing his fair share of feeding on humans those that know of Rudy are a mixed bunch. The majority do not care for what good he has done and as with all vampires want him dead. There are a few however that look past the fact he drinks blood and can clearly see he's trying to make the city a better place for those that only want peace. Some vampire hunters that are in the second group have actually tried looking for him in an attempt to train with him knowing that despite his age he'd have much to teach them. Unfortunatly when those that look for him are human he's usually got to save their asses for being so deep in the forest. In recent months he's stepped back on trips to the city due to the fact that Myra is going to have a child soon.

Ok, here’s my RP post that I promised.
*Crash!*
“Ow… I think I bit my tongue.”
“I swear stranger,” The bartender of the local tavern said as he helped a patron dressed all in black pick up a table. “You are the clumsiest person I’ve ever seen.”
“Yeah, I get that a lot.” Titus said with a small laugh. He sat down at the now upright table and thought for a minute. “Just bread and cheese with some water will be fine thanks.” The barman left and came back a little later giving him the food.
“Sure that’s all you want?”
“Oh yes, this is perfect.” Titus said just before taking a bite of the cheese, careful to make sure he did not expose his fangs. “It doesn’t help my hunger at all like blood does,” Titus thought to himself. “But it tastes just as good!” He grinned broadly as he sat and quietly chewed.
***
“Hey! You got somthin’ to say to me?”
“Yeah I… I do!”
“Hmm?” Titus looked up to see that two larger men appeared to have had too much to drink, and had started an argument. He got up and started to walk over to their end of the tavern.
“I wouldn’t do that stranger.” The barman called out to him. “I’ve seen those two go at it before. Clumsy little guy like you ‘ll get squished.”
“Oh, you needed worry about me sir.” Titus said with a smile and continued to approach the arguing men, who seemed ready to tear each other apart. “Excuse me gentlemen. But I couldn’t help overhearing your conversation, and I think he,” Titus gestured to the man on the left. “Brings up a valid point.”
“Hey, this doesn’t got nothin’ to do with you shorty!” The man on the right exclaimed.
“Oh I know.” Titus responded calmly. “I just don’t want to see a fight break out.”
“Well too bad!” The man on the right threw a punch, that probably could have gone through a wall, straight at Titus’ face. But he then fell promptly on his own face and proceeded to drift into a drunken slumber as Titus stood two feet behind where the man had previously stood.
“Tsk Tsk, what horrible hand-eye coordination.” Titus said with his hand on his chin. “I do hope he’s alright. I’d better-”
Titus was cut off as the other man charged him. “Hey! What did you do to my friend?” But this man too ended up attacking thin air as Titus appeared a few feet behind him.
“Looking for me?” The man made a valiant effort to whirl around but stumbled over his fallen drinking partner and fell to the ground next to him, in a similar drunken slumber. “You call him your friend yet you were ready to knock him flat? Some people I’ll never truly understand.” Titus stepped carefully over the sleeping men and began to make his way back to his table.
“Wow! That was amazing buddy!” The barman called out.
“What? Oh, that was noth-” *Crash*
Titus was cut off again as he tripped over a table leg and tumbled into a stack of chairs. And all that could be heard from under the pile was a slight muttering.
“Ow… I think I bit my tongue.”

Don't have time to fill out a form or write a post proper just this second but you know it just wouldn't be the same if the mysterious maniacal Koger didn't come along to tease and dance through the shadows. I'll have time late tonight or sometime to take care of the formalities.
Name: Myra Summers
Age: 25
Race: Vampire
Appearance: 5'8, now about 160lbs, she has Silvery white feathery hair thats cut to her shoulders (she grew to like the shortened look) and reddish tilted eyes. Her clothing style has become less severe as she has been living on earth for many years. She tends to wear fine silks in a blue or purple worked in silver embroidery, with necklines that dip slightly to expose a fair amount of cleavage. She still favors rubies and these sometimes decorate her dresses, and her clothes would fit a Lady in good standing. the gold and ruby ring that Rudy had given her that Night never leaves her finger, and when shes not wearing the gold and ruby earrings her friend gave her they have a special place in her jewelry box.
Weapon(s) of Choice: Her wing cape is retired unless she ventures into town, but she always has her Silver Claw that her left hand becomes naturally. Only in times when she knows for sure danger is on its way is she armed with the katana given to her by Rudy.
Powers: The typical stuff, flight, strength, heightened senses etc, but in recent years she has developed a power of her own, the ability to appear human. Normal humans looking at her in this form would see nothing out of the ordinary, but dampiels and vampires may sense something amiss, or, if they are strong enough, may even see through this disguise. Strong or Old vampires would definately not be fooled.
Occupation: While there was a time in her life where she would scoff at such domestic trades, she has come to find in the 7 years living on earth that she enjoys embroidery and dressmaking, and she has used her power to disguise to on numerous occassions apprentice herself to a seamstress in the City. While an apprentice she goes by the name of Grace Thompson, and so far has not been discovered for being a vampire.
Personality: She was a firecracker in her youth, elitist, accoustomed to the high life and brooking no nonsense. The Great and Powerful Link family were nobles even amoung vampires, and you could say in the past she was born and bred to command. Slightly seeming to be spoiled, she had every right to expect things to go her way, because that was the way things are amoung vampires. Those who are in power come before those who are of the Lowborn. Her fathers Link blood has been pure for generations and thousands of years. Though her mother was a Changed Human, a human who had been turned instead of being a full vampire from birth, and that marked a bit of shame in her for years. Nowadays, she has mellowed out considerably, although she still has the air of a noblewoman about her. And her curiousity remains the same. Shes intensely curious about Earth and Humans, and has spent the past 7 years living happily with Rudy and her new family, and studying the strange and wonderful things of earth. Fiercely protective describes her nicely, and since she has taken Earth to be her home now she is protective of the Earth as a whole, as much as she is protective of her husband, brother, and sister-in-law. She might be hard as stone and cold as ice if something threatens her or displeases her, but she is warm and loving to those who she loves.
History: Rudy covered the history nicely of what happened in Dawn, but I will write a bit about the history of Myra before she came to earth. Her father was the great nobleman Meier Link, who in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, D the hunter was sent after to "rescue" the daughter of a human nobleman whom Meier had "kidnapped". In reality Charlotte, the humans daughter, had fallen in love with Meier and wanted to be with him despite the fact he was a vamp. The Ancient vampire Carmilla granted a refuge in her palace to the young vampire and his human lover, though this gesture was anything but friendly. As D and Meier Link fought it out, Carmilla bit Charlotte and used her blood to try and revive her body, which had actually died hundreds of years ago. To make a long story short (too late)Meier grieved to find his lover dying in his arms from the bite Carmilla gave her, and D allowed the grieving vampire to take his dying lover to one of the great ships so that they may go to the City of the Night in peace.
But all was not lost. Instead of Charlotte dying the bite that Carmilla gave turned her into a vampire instead, and the joyful couple lived happily in the City of the Night, giving birth to first a boy(See Yuars history), and then later a girl. Myra grew up hearing only stories about earth, and was taken under the wing of Lantis, a powerful and old vampire, who began to sway her young mind in the direction he wanted. He saw power in the Link family and used it to his advantage with the young girl as a playing piece, twisting her beliefs so that they fit his own, charming her mind so she became infatuated with him, so much so that she would do anything he required of her, including killing her own mother. Disposing of the Vampires who disagreed with Lantis's plan to retake Earth as their own was the finalmove in his decades old plan, and that meant removing the Links that refused to leave the City of the Night. And the rest as they say, is history.
Now its seven years later, and the horrors of that night have faded into mists, and Myra finds herself living quietly in her secluded home with her husband Rudy and her sister in law Gyvian. Almost a year ago she became pregnant, and is happily awaiting her young ones birth. In this state she is slightly more vunerable than otherwise (obviously!) and it has Rudy on edge and somewhat paranoid that there might be danger about.
Relations: Rudy Summers (husband), Gyvian Summers (Sister-in-law), Yuar Link (brother) Any others that might know her or her human seamstress alter ego PM me and we can work it out ^-~
Other: Shes preggy! lol
Im going to be taking over my sisters character until shes able (and willing >.>) to post for her own self :>
Name: Liven Dinas
Age: 28
Race: Dampiel
Appearance: (copied from the original sign up for Dawn):Long dark brown hair, with a tad bit of red in there somewhere. Wears black trench coat with dark blue belt around her waist and chest. Has black boots with gold trim. Dark red eyes face alittle pale. slender yet strong.
Weapon(s) of Choice: Two guns and a sword passed down to her by the Vampire Hunter known as D.
Powerseemingly more human than vampire, she doesnt seem to have any powers that are noteable, she cant fly, and the only thing she really has power wise are the sharper senses and of course, some of the weaknesses. (like inability to travel well in the rain, and the susceptability to heat strokes when shes out in the sun too long.)
Occupation: Vampire Hunter, ever since her father and mother were killed by vampires she took up her fathers trade. He trained her for it all along as if expecting she would have to know how to defend herself.
Personality: (to get a gist of her personality Im including a few excerpts of my sisters posts) Man i just hope I get to the church alive...and not in a coffin! Just as I had thought that i saw the church lights. I had to keep myself from running towards the church to see my friend....I turned and grabbed Rudy by the scruf of the neck. " FATHER FARWELL HAD BETTER BE IN THERE OR SOMEONE IS GETTING HURT!" I shoved him at Mira and started for the church...
Farwell seemed pretty sure what he was doing, so i just leaned back and went along for the ride....
The carage was quiet for a couple of minutes, i was looking at the Vampire. I was trying to see why or how he could be on a priest's side. Well i am half vampire.....
I looked at the poor people and felt bad for them. I felt bad only because they would probebly be an easy meal for any of those vampires out there...i heard some laughter coming from an alley way. "is that...Roland?!" I asked myself as i jogged down the alley. I just turned the corner when i saw it was just two drunken bums. They were throwing beer bottles at some stray cats. "Eh...." I sighed at their stupid acts as i turned and walked out. " Man sometimes i wonder why i try to help the human race..."
History: (another excerpt from Dawn, author Shaka):
I was only about 13 years old and a couple of gangsters were trying to mug me one night. It was about mid-night and i was walking through the streets looking for a good place to sleep before the sun came up. Then about 5 buffed men up and tried to steal any goods i had even my sword my father gave to me before he was killed. I tried to fight back, but i was still too young and couldnt fight. Just as they were about to make thier move i heard a voice. I turned to see a nice looking Priest, he didnt seem like he could fight....but somehow he had managed to fight off the 5 gangsters. "Wo...wow! how did you do that?" I asked astonished. "By the Power of God my child!" he had said as he smiled. "My name is Farwell. Whats yours?" He asked as he extended his hand out for me to hold. "My..name is Liven Dinas.." I said a little shy, as i took his hand. "Liven? Thats a pretty name." He said. "Do you need a place to stay?" He asked. I looked at him and smiled back. "Yes! Thank you Farwell!" I said. He let me stay there as long as i liked...he was like a second Father to me...... She had a great post in the old sequal of Dawn, before it MYSTERIOUSLY GOT DELETED! lol that told about her past with her father and mothers murder at the hand of vampires, but alas its on my old computer. So Ill just add that after Father Farwells death, she buried him in the graveyard of the Church of the Guiding Light, and wandered for 4 years afterward, grieving to the loss of her good friend and Father figure. Her mistrust of vampires is still strong, and she still hunts wherever she goes. 3 years ago she returned to Wood Water, to visit the grave of her Father Farwell, where she saw a dark figure sink into the shadows and a lone flower on the grave. Thinking that she wasnt the only one who loved the Father, shes went out in search again, this time to find some relation of Farwell that she could protect, in remembrance and in repayment for her guilt in letting him die. Recently she has come back to Wood Water, bearing a message for the only vampires she could trust, a message that tells of the plight of the other city that has lain under vampire control for 7 years.
Relations: All her blood relatives are dead, and her beloved Father Farwell lies in his grave. But she still seeks any blood relative of Farwell, and she hopes to one day find the boy dampiel that Farwell saved to finish his work in caring for him. Its what the good Father would have wanted, despite his violence...
Other: She is the one in the beginning that took father Farwells book from the Church of the Guiding Light. She now lives inside this abandoned church. Im really hoping my sister will take her character up again, but as I dont see her as often anymore Im not sure. Sometimes she hears the voice of Farwell giving her advice and guidance when she feels lost...

Sorry for the LSU, been pretty busy lately. Plus I'm sure you wouldn't mind a human
Name: Doctor Leo Beyon, but often just goes by 'Doctor B' or just 'Doctor'.
Age: 29
Race: Human
Appearance: Stands at about 6 feet tall. He is of normal build and no spectacular features of note. He has short, kempt dark brown hair and blue eyes. Usually clean-shaven, sometimes with stubble. He normally wears warm winter coats, coloured grey, brown, black or tweed, and underneath wears suit trousers and a shirt, maybe a pullover if it is especially cold. Usually wears leather gloves and a scarf too.
Weapon(s) of Choice: He isn't much of a fighter but can be very inventive when he improvises. He is a trained fighter, both with his fists and with a blade but he prefers to negotiate. However, he always keeps a revolver on his person and several speciality bullets e.g. smoke, exploding, silver etc. He also carries a small toolkit (screwdrivers etc.) and a penknife on his person, as well as a personal 1st aid kit.
Powers: Humans have the ability to hold their breath underwater and jump about three or four feet in the air.
Occupation: A physician by profession, but has recently become fascinated with the occult.
Personality: He will stand out from mostly every other human due to the fact he will not run or is not even scared at the first sign of something odd. Vampires and other creatures of the night fascinate him greatly. He is soft-spoken and has a charismatic charm to him that can disarm even some of the more feral villains out there. Although he is a trained fighter, he only uses violence as a last resort and usually when he knows he can win. He recognises that vampires and the like are far stronger than he is and thus has diplomacy and persuasion at his disposal. He holds no particular allegiance but has a strong moral centre. He also possesses vast intelligence.
History: As a trained physician, he was a respected member of his community, not only as a skilled doctor but as a trusted neighbour. However, when vampires and the like arrived and began attacking his kin, he was often performing postmortems and autopsies, and instantly became fascinated with these creatures. Once he began examining the corpses of these creatures, he has begun to seek them out in order to better understand them.
Relations: Nope.
Other: Nope.
Sample RP post: I'll give one if you request it, but I assume you know what I am capable of.

I also apologize if some things are a bit choppy; I'm chasing a pair of rather rambunctious kittens around the house, trying to keep them out of trouble. Not doing too well...
Name: Lillian Slade
Age: 20
Race: Human
Appearance: Fine, shoulder length blue-black hair goes well with her pale cool-toned skin. Her eyes are a dark grey, the color of calm, deep water on a cloudy day. Aside from her clothes, she looks like she could have stepped directly from a black-and-white photo. Her wardrobe is typically loose-fitting and comfortable, the predominant shades being black, white, and dark blues and purples. She wears a variety of silver jewelry, usually several nondescript bracelets, ankh earrings, and a star necklace on a delicate chain. Calf-high heeled black leather boots complete her outfits.
Weapon(s) of Choice: Anything that can be used to smash brains in.
Powers: Open for discussion; she practices dark witchcraft (not necessarily black magic, though... she's pretty neutral in respect to good and evil). Whether her powers are from inborn talent or from channeling from some mysterious source is unknown.
Occupation: By day, secretary for a well-off business man. By night, a seeker of dark knowledge best left alone by mortals.
Personality: This is the snowflake that loves to get in your eye and make it STING. Compassion really isn't her thing, and depending on how she's feeling, she can be downright malicious. She wants to know what's in it for her before she ever agrees to something, and she almost always comes out on top. When she doesn't, she bears a grudge that unearths her truly ugly side. She seeks power and knowledge above all else; everything else is secondary.
History: She doesn't share much. She came from a pretty well-off family, and grew up appearing to abide by the rules to keep her family out of her hair. Left to her own devices, she meddled in drugs and alternative religion, slowly becoming the woman she is today. Now, she is the last of the Slades alive... and some might say under questionable circumstances.
Relations: She knows and rather enjoys the company of "Grace Thompson", and stops in to see her every once in a while.
Other: She likes kittays. =^_^=
Sample RP post: I assume that, since there has been lengthy PM correspondence, I don't need to post a sample...
