I like Facebook too, for similar reasons. Plus it helps interact and keep in touch with other people and, at least for now, I can look at my friend's profiles without feeling the urge to run away from the abuse of HTML.
MySpace
Other, which I will hencely divulge...
None. Social networking is for losers and old men.
Well, seeing how there's a lacking number of polls, I thought I'd pitch in with a rather pointless little question that I reckon needs addressing...
Myspace or Facebook?
Which is your social networking site of choice? (I've omitted the option of 'both' because I hate it when people cop out like that)
Personally, I've been won over by Facebook. At first just because of the applications, but more recently because the groups are a lot better maintained, not filled with useless blather and because of them, I've managed to find people I hadn't seen for ten years. Beneficial, no?

I chose Other. Myspace is a jumbled mess, and Facebook just doesn't entice me enough to go there very often.
So, where do I go to hang out with my online pals?
TPM, of course!![]()

OK, and deviantart, too. (runs)
Facebook. All of my friends from college have one so it's a good way to keep in touch since we have all gradurated and gone off in different directions.

I heard of facebook before but I had yet to use it. Besides I am more towards Friendster and had been using it for the past 3 to 4 years or so.
I might go for Facebook, taking into account that many of the TPMers here have them.
Meh, the choice was a little tricky, but I chose Facebook, not just because there are MANY more familiar faces on there, but the site itself is more "well-rounded" than MySpace. Besides that, I find MySpace very boring these days, anyway.

I like Myspce better, more can be done with it visually wise.
Facebook i admit I get less spam though.

Facebook. MySpace has too many adds and spammers, really, I hate getting one or two friend requests every day from girls wanting me to check out their porn sites. Even though Facebook has opened up to everyone, they still manage to keep the spammers at bay. In all honesty I'm not on either a whole lot, but between the two I prefer Facebook.

I think one would kinda have an issue if they preferred myspace to facebook.
Aside from the fact they don't really compare much... they're both very different and for different purposes and there is no reason to even compare them. Myspace can compare to a bunch of blog sites, but not FB. There are other sites that are like FB, but myspace is not one of them.
However, Tom's a lot cooler than Mark Zuckerberg.

In 20 years, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook will merge together into one super big time-wasting site called YouTwitFace.
