The Toxic takes a hit from Rotom’s life force again which weakens it dramatically. Yana suddenly springs for the attack and fades into shadow. She reappears to tackle the ghost across the stage for one my time.

You call Yana to you side, feeling enough damage has been done, and you throw a pokeball. The sphere taps against Rotom and he is sucked in, the ball wiggling a bit. The successful *PING* of captures sets you mind at ease and the pokeball is teleported away. The familiar Hypno reappears in front of you to take you to the entrance to receive your catches. Yana is recalled and you bid farewell to the playhouse.

You frown after the Huntail and ask Blade again what he said. Blade sighs and conveys he just thought you were foolish not knowing what was here. You glare out at the ocean, but there is nothing you can do. So you begin to look around in the sand, for anything that catches your attention. Ziz is moving more and slowly he raises his head and blinks sleepily. He looks at you, yawning hugely, before shaking himself and getting to his feet. This scares a passing flock of Wingull and they scatter out toward the ocean. He flies over, and you, unfortunately finding nothing decide what to do next.

You decided that staying here just isn't worth it as there is nothing much in the way of . . . stuff to interest you. So you leap aboard Ziz and he launches himself into the sky, Blade following with ease. You turn inland and say that you would like to go to Ivy Lake, if you just know where it was.

A few minutes later, with you slowly flying inland, a Spearow comes up and motions for you to follow him. You do so and he leads you just where you would like to go. How did he know? Well . . . TPML spiffy all-knowingness (of the hidden mic kind). You look for a break in the trees and Ziz, in a very neat bit of flying, lands right beside the lake.

You have kept the fishing rod you found earlier, and in the light mist that is drifting off the lake, you toss you line. A very convenient rock is placed on shore, where you sit and enjoy the peacefulness around you.

As you wait for a bite, a Starly flies by overhead, landing in a tree nearby and having a chat with Blade. A mother Marill watches her daughter Azurill play in the shallows not to far down, a Surskit dodging her splashes with giggles. A good hard yank hits your rod and as you tugging the catch up, a Poliwag emerges on the surface. He is watching the line swing back and forth as you fight the Pokémon.

You give the line one final tug, but it would appear that the Pokémon has finally just stopped the indignity of being yanked on and is rising to the surface. A long dark shape appears just under the surface before a Dragonair's head just barely comes above the water. He seems rather resigned and it looking at you with a 'what exactly do you want?' expression.

You call to Blade and he looks up from his conversation. You ask him to play diplomat and he nods, saying his farewells to the Starly. Most of the Pokémon move off at the appearance of the Dragonair, but the Poliwag remains, amused by your fishing attempts. Blade speaks with the dragon and he tilts his head in a kind of shrug and answers. You let him off and he disappears before Blade gets to you.

Turning on the magical interpreter thingy Blade says the Dragonair says Dratini are here, but as you don't have a water Pokémon you will just have to fish for them. You sigh and nod, casting your line. Not to long of a wait this time, and you get a good tug. It zigs and zags a lot, as the Pokémon flings itself about. Finally it decides to scare the karp out of you. It zooms forward and leaps out of the water. You yelp and duck, just getting a glimpse of a Buizel as she leaps overhead, landing with a flourish.

You and your trusty Ninetales begin the treacherous hike through the Ffeffni Mountains. The snow crunches ominously under your feet, although the fire Blysse spits out every now and again helps keep you cool. As you plod forward, you notice that the path splits into three, and there is a sign at the juncture, reading "<- Valley | ^ Onwards | Peak ->". You look around and notice a Swinub eagerly pawing at the ground nearby, on the leftmost path. Some caws in the distance confirm to you that there is a family of Staraptor and Staravia somewhere nearby. While you make your decision, something moves quickly behind you - when you turn around, however, nothing is there. What do you do?

You can baton pass to a Pokemon you brought with you. So if you only have 1 Pokemon with you, then you cannot use BP.

You release the Buizel and she looks at you slightly saddened. You approach her and ask her if she knows where the Dratini are more likely to be. She pouts a little but she simply says (via talky understander thingy) that they live in the deeper water. She mimes casting really hard but she shrugs and leaves before you can ask anything else. You grumble and tilt the rod back as far as you can. With a mighty toss you fling it out and you can hear the line whizzing as the lure sails over the water. It plops a good distance out and you wait. With a yank the lure sinks and you yelp as you stumble forwards into the water. As you fight with the Pokémon a Poliwhirl appears and watches you fight it. Finally, the Pokémon appears at the surface and you see it is a Floatzel and she looks very, very irritated.

Sorry about the wait, real life has apparently decided that I'm not paying enough attention to it and dumped a whole mess of stuff on me. ^^;
You head for the Valley. The winding path you take spirals ever downward until the sky is almost completely blocked out by the imposing valley walls on either side of you - a side affect of which, you notice, is that the temperature has also dropped. Nearby, a Piplup and a Snorunt are chasing each other, while a Prinplup is watching them carefully. A Pidgeotto is soaring in the sky above you, crowing loudly for some reason. Soon, you find out why: a Skarmory flies in and launches an attack at the bird. Ignoring them for the moment, you look around. It seems you can either continue exploring the valley or enter some of the caves set in the valley walls. Heading back up is also a possibility. What do you do?

You release the Floatzel with the greatest of care and she stares at you for a very long time. You stare back and finally she seems to be leaving. Just before she dives down she shoots off a blast of water at Ziz. Ziz screeches as the Aqua Jet hits him, but the Floatzel is gone before he can do anything. He raises his wings and looks ready to take off but you turn and make calming gestures. He looks like he wants to ignore you but with some yelling to get his attention, he calms. Still quite ticked, he gumbling-ly settles himself.
You sigh, and turn back to your fishing. Casting your line hard once more, you wait. It doesn't take long and with a good tug you are fighting a Pokémon once again. This Poké doesn't seem to want to fight much and she appears at the top. You soon see why as when the Whiscash appears, she has a Barboach alongside.

You release the Whiscash and she and her child sink beneath the waves. You turn to Ziz and pull out of your 'magical bag of holding things to be to really fit' and give him a treat. The ref doesn't know what Aerodactyl's really like so it'll be fish. While he's munching away, more contended, you turn back to finishing.
This time when you hook the Poké you jump as a volt of electricity zaps up the line. You don't let go of the rod thankfully and reel it. You continue to get jolts until the Chinchou appears on the surface, and he is snickering, at your now very interesting hair. To your right the Starly has appeared again and starts talking to Blade. You glare at the Chinchou and wonder just what to do.

Anyway, you enter the caves boldly. Immediately, you can tell that getting lost in here would be bad - this network of caves extends for what must be miles. There's enough light for you to see, but you don't know from where it's coming, which is slightly unnerving. But your fears are soon assuaged - there's a Charmander and a Torchic nearby spitting fire at each other. A Swinub is slowly making its way towards a passage in the back, and you can tell from the slash marks on a nearby rock that a Sneasel has been by recently. What do you do?

The Quest
As our handy dandy Kadabra bows to you after successfully teleporting you here you sit and marvel at the once beauty of the damaged building. Covered in blackness and smelling heavily of ashes you take a deep breath and walk toward the door. The door is slightly ajar but you notice your feathered friend Leeks peering around the alley. You ponder with him and to your surprise you see a Flareon(M) spiting small fireballs at a rather annoying Mewoth(F) perched on an adjacent fire escape. The Meowth constantly shucks coins at the Flareon which can only mean trouble. Further down the ally 2 Muchlax(M) fill their faces with garbage and knock over trashcans which is aggravating a sleeping Shinx(F)

What will you do?

"I wounder if those Munchlax are related to Banjo?" Leeks asked.

"I haven't a clue Leeks, I got Banjo years ago as a Christmas gift, But at the time I was to lazy to give him a good name so I just called him Lax."

"Well he is a Snorlax after all, but I guess Bango fits since of how ofted you played Bango-Kazooie on your N64..." Leeks Said off hand.

"I know that Leeks, Also Just so you know, I named you after one of my Favorite Vegetables leeks, because it suits you better then Onion, Garlic, Shallot or Chives would have."

"Well Garlic would not have been that bad, I mean I do evolve into Clichéd the Garlic Hero Pokémon!" Leeks said with a wink

You glare at the Chinchou and release him with a flip of your line. The Chinchou is sniggering away as he disappears below the waves. You attempt to flatten your hair but it isn't too successful and you hear some quiet chuckling behind you. You turn and both your Pokémon look innocent. You turn back to fishing, and hear a cough but ignore it.
You toss out your line again and...it gets a quick bite. There is not much of a fight on you hands, though your line does seem to be doing odd random pulling motions. Finally with a good hard yank you pull up a Quilfish. She is fully puff puffed, her quills sticking out everywhere and she looks a little irritated as she gazes at you.

Ziz does as you say, but he is smirking. Meanwhile, when you turn to go back to fishing, Blade gives Ziz a 'will you shut up!' look. Ziz just smirks and continues scanning the forest. The only thing Ziz comes up with is a flock of Starly, chattering away, back in the forest a ways. When they start to glow red they panic and burst into the sky, quickly winging away.
While this has been going on, you have of course been fishing away. The Quilfish was happy to be released, and left without attacking. You are getting quite irritated with what you are catching. When you catch the next Pokémon, you are surprised with how esily it is coming up. It is obvious why in the next second, as the first thing to appear is its tail, a blue ball. Your hook has snagged the thin black tail part. The Marill turns and floats on his back looking at you with a, 'well?' look.

Huh, well that's interesting . . . never came up before. Hmm, well since in the Tower you have to start with the lowest Poké in the line, I think you'll need to have a Great Ball to catch him, unfortunately.
