The smell of fresh cut grass, so nice and calming isn’t it? I’ve been sleeping on the lawn because I’m poor…so I would know…*sadness =(* Anyway, my sob story aside, I’ve issued a 6 on 6 and two prospective trainers have taken the bait! I mean…met my challenge…*Good save Verm* The Veteran Mod TML saunters forth from her doorway, a tiny penguin trailing behind her. The challenger Dragonis stares with steely eyes, unfazed by his opponents Moddness. He releases from his capture sphere a golden cicada with paper wings, which darts around his head ready for battle…

Haku (Awesome name, my Glalie is named that ^_^) Shows off her speed advantage by splitting instantly into a ring of 5 Ninjask, Although small, Nero is being trainer by one of the great trainers of our generation and he shows his stuff by huffing very deep and blasting from his tiny beak a mixture of strong wind and ice shards. He turns in a circle as he blast, taking out each clone until the real Haku is hit. Haku’s wings frost over a bit and he finds it hard to stay airborne.

The frost is bothersome so Haku lowers herself and channels her energy to increase her attack. Ghostly blades break from the earth and circle the insect before pointing at Haku and stabbing into her. Her body glows temporarily from the increase and while this is going on Nero has finished a nice toxin which he spits like a cobra to tag Haku in her face.

The burn and sickening feeling of Toxic occupies Haku so that Nero can copy the illusion maneuver of the first action. A ring of 4 little water fowl stare at Haku as she regains composure and examines the copies. Her feeler legs suddenly glow a shade of chartreuse and she crosses them in front of her, with all he might she darts for a Piplup. She uncrosses her claws in a fast double slashing technique but only hits air…

Nero and he copies continues on the attack with another heavy Blizzard. The strong gale from such small creatures astounds the Cicada but she dodges with minimal effort, fading into shadow. The shards of ice hit nothing but the center Nero is blind sided by a tackle from out of nowhere by great luck, destroying the other clones!

The blow face plants the penguin but he flips up and blows a thick icy cloud to cover his trail. He crosses his arms proud that he has the element of surprise but a gust fills the arena. The fog cover has dispersed as fast as it came as Haku flaps rapidly. The flapping also has freed her of the ice covering her wings.

A slight twitch pops from Nero and he attacks with a pearly beam that speeds for an incoming blob of poison. The Ice beam connects with Toxic and freezes it into a block. Even though frozen, when it thaws it will still be potent…

”That swift insect needs to be brought down” thinks TML and an idea pops into her mind. Haku fashions herself with more copies of herself to distract the little water fowl. Nero grins at this same useless ploy and proceeds to eradicate the Genjutsu with powerful gales and sharp ice shards.

The biting Blizzard numbs Haku and his wings get heavy again with ice. He initiates Façade by focusing on the status affliction coursing through his veins, ie: the poison. Covered in a violet hue the Ninjask launches for Nero only to discover five Nero’s instead of one. No matter he darts for the far left one and tackles it…to bad it was only air.

Buzzing with frustration the Cicada swoops in for another pass, claws at the ready to grab and fangs at the ready to gorge. Another clone is all Haku is able to snatch and he pays for his mistake in an Ice Beam hammering him in his back. The 3 Piplup cross their tiny arms in satisfaction as Haku smacks the ground, wings completely frozen.

Haku crawls feeble, the weight of her icy wings a heavy burden, as Nero and her copy circle him and charge soapy sphere to attack. Haku bears down and vibrates her wing releasing a droning sound wave that cracks the ice on them. The sound assaults Nero, knocking out the clones but he fires the Bubblebeam with only slightly less accuracy.

Haku gives a mightly flap and the last of the ice breaks free to take her back to her home, the air. Nero holds his head as the ringing ceases and quickly blast another powerful Blizzard, how many more can this little fowl conjure up!? Her wings some what numb Haku fades in darkness a bit late and is struck as she disappears. She returns to sight and slams Nero in the back.

Now face down in the dirt Nero is prey for Haku! She dives down and bites down in his neck, sucking copious amounts of green energy. Nero struggles against the hold but the sapping of health and energy leaves him helplessly pinned…
