Mike: You'd be surprised. Put an archeology textbook in front of me and my brain will decide it wants to run far, far away.
Kristian: A little faster than LTL, eh?
I do love comedic titles and characters. But was DS showing incomprehension or apathy? At any rate, fireguardian doesn't seem to be on his team, whatever that means.
How does an oven melt, anyway? However much plot advancement may have been in this page, it certainly seemed like the right move character-wise. And if you enjoyed it, all the better.
MoP's gang is not to be taken lightly. But would a killing spree be so bad? It might take everyone's attention away from a devious plot just beneath the surface...
I made that panel using an image I got of precisely that - static. As for the rest...
Okay, either you're reading my mind or I'm getting predictable. Glad you thought the first panel was well-crafted, though. With all the text to relay, #147 took ages to craft.
Hey, everyone else seemed to think I was focusing on the mods too much. But this is rather necessary, yes. We'll see what comes of mr_pikachu's foray into the book... And no, I'm not all that into metal, even if I have heard of Def Leppard.
Gabi: It's definitely not something you could just check out from the local library.
Blade: You break my Randomizer whether or not I act against your wishes. I'm still not seeing the threat...
Shonta: Hehe! Well, hopefully it doesn't quite work the same as that Death Note. Actually, the Fanfic mods may soon be wishing it did.
Charles: Thanks! Nobody likes being served in a steaming bowl. It's just not kosher.
It's hard to say what Charles' motives are as of yet. He could be playing any number of angles in lending support; perhaps he's like Blademaster, who begrudgingly aided Dark Sage. But at any rate, he's just handed the "Master" an exceedingly powerful tool.
In order to make things darker, sometimes you have to light them up.
#149: "End Times." The prophecy of the end of the world.
Blade: Something about that last page makes me doubt that plan would work very well in this instance.
Faiz: I actually finished that sentence when I was writing this, and only cut off the end because I'd exhausted the limits of the page. Still, why not keep you in suspense for awhile?
Nice theory about the other references. We'll see if it holds true or if you have to shamefully eat crow.
Kalah: Haha, flaming! You're clearly not a fan of We Didn't Start the Fire.
Thanks for the compliment about the prophecy. That took me a long time, actually. It surprised even me, although I was even more surprised by the text rotation actually working decently.
DS: Everybody loves prophesied doom!
Considering that things haven't begun to deteriorate yet... perhaps.
Charles: *tries to remember the last PM I sent you*
Well, perhaps it's a good thing that you're at least partially oriented with Team Chaos. ^_^;
Laura: Heh, thanks for the compliment!
If anything significant was on the preceding pages, it's likely already in the past, which means that the mods have lost the chance to stop it. However, a close analysis might reveal some useful information. I'm glad you want to know more about the identities of the unnamed; I actually plan to reveal a lot about that very soon. Which, in my case, means about 20 pages from now. Maybe.
As for the possible literal interpretation of blood and fire... no comment. How enlightening!
Mikachu: Thanks, man. I'm glad you appreciate the occasional deviation from my six-panel pattern. It's not something I do often (or plan to do much more frequently in the future), but hopefully it serves as a nice jolt at choice moments.
And I saw the whack. If I could draw half that well, I wouldn't be doing this fic in the Ctrl+V style.
Ada: Haha, nice quote! Not that I've ever heard the song, but... yeah!
(Which reminds me that I haven't done the ringtone thing in awhile. Hmm.)
One could assume that Ms. Blue Hair is She. But then again, each group, tightly formed or loosely dispersed, has gotten information from a variety of sources. It may be hard to rule out anyone from any role just yet. As for MoP, while he could have held it as an ace in the hole, it was an interesting psychological ploy. Mewfour's fearsomeness also adds to the potential for a psych play. Perhaps he can get DS to hesitate and second-guess himself...? The mental battle can be just as important as physical combat.
You wonder why DS and MoP hold hostility for one another? Very good question.
Book Three ends as 2008 begins. Happy new year?
#150: Jay lives!
This page was completed before #146. Needless to say, I've been planning this twist for quite awhile. The setup, if you've forgotten, happened in #88.
Aside from the headers on the Cover and Extra pages and the boxes in #128, this is the first time that text spaces have been of my own creation. I thought a first-person thought bubble was necessary, and it adds some needed drama.
The sad thing is that I spent most of my time on this page making the little "eye opening" layers. It was a fairly simple process once I knew what I was doing; just draw two circles, flood fill everything but the intersection, and add a little blurring. But it took awhile to refine my technique... and to choose a good "darkness" color.
Whoah! Revelation time! Armaggeddon and Apocalypse, scheduled for next Thursaturday!
... Seems the prophecy wasn't made to keep our hopes up for a chance at survival, huh? ... It looked to me Brian was swearing because the prophecy ended in the middle of the sentence, but it seems that wasn't planned, you say. Although it seems unlikely the text would continue for just a half sentence on the next page, that's actually exactly what happend in HP&TDH, too, so meh...
And woah, wow!? Jay returns? If he can, so could Martin, right? But, it's still a forbidden technique, so... Does this mean Kijoni and fandom can return too? And will he have gained any special necromancing powers from the experience?
What a way to start the year... (Happy '08, by the way! May the horse be with you!)

Happy New Year! And like Crystalmaster Mike said, the beginning of the end is an awesome way to start the year.
I laughed at the last panel, though. But that was only because the picture made me immediately think of Nathan Explosion. Although on a serious note, looks like the prophecy is coming true a lot sooner than to a Fanficcer's liking. But now that there's He, could She also be of relevance to the sametroll grouporder?
May health, happiness, and the schwartz be with you in '08.
...I'm not dead yet!
To be exact (I am not sure if I use the correct English words though, I bold them) I drew the Shinjis through from printed WotF pages with my lightboard. But Ranma I drew all by myself, only looking at the first Ranma manga cover. I Ctrl+V:d a part of the same Ranma to the fifth panel. And 'WHACK!' is my handwriting.
And keep this coming, I predict you shall even include my character here, the signs are such, you see, you even quoted Crazy Elf Boy in one panel!!
Ah, seems it isn't Thursaturday today, but Funday! (Yeah, we really miss an 8th day in the week...)
About my earlier HP:TDH: I wasn't referring to any prophecy mind you, but to a letter... Almost forgot what I was referring to in the first place. *thwomps self* And there I am, calling myself adedicatedreader.
Anyways:
"You can't do that in War of the Forums!" - And there I was expecting some good-for-Jackass material.
"... and a good writer dare not break these hallowed rules!" - Yet Playboy is probably one of the most succesful pieces being "read".
"You can't make fun of the dead." - But being dead, you can't hurt their feelings!
"You can't substitute nudity for a plotline." - *exits*
"You can't make real people look like morons." - "... while they have you at gunpoint. In other cases, good ducking capabilities are a prerequisite."
"You can't censor your own characters." - Luckily for the virgin ears, the board's configuration can.
"You can't make a cliffhanger and then leave it hanging for an entire book." - *pictures Brian, at age 65, hanging from a steep cliff in the Grand Canyon as he loses his grip* "Curse you, writer's block!"

Yeah, I guess it is, but I was more or less telling Bademaster to take a chill pill... anyways JAY is back which is Interesting, also Extra #3 was very funny...
