Sighing, you release the maril (carefully at that could hurt) and he immediately dives back under the waves. You reel in your line and hook the lure on the rod very carefully and leave it leaning against a tree. Blade and Ziz look at you and you explain you all are going to the Abandoned Playhouse as nothing here has been at all interesting. They nod and you return them, and not a second later, a Ralts appears beside you. You jump and he smiles, used to startling humans. He walks over and touches your leg. Not a second later you are in front of the Abandoned Playhouse, the Ralts nodding once before teleporting away.

Slightly baffled as to how he knew where you want to go, you walk into the Playhouse. The door is very creaky and only on by one hinge. Everything is burnt about the edges and the smell of smoke is still in the air. It is very dim inside and you step into the lobby carefully. You release Ziz and Blade again and they look around, letting their eyes adjust to the dimness. There are a few couches about and a ticket booth ahead of you. You step toward it and suddenly you can back out eyes peering out from behind it.

You slowly step closer and, and the Pokémon, curious, steps out of hiding and cocks his head.

"Muuuuuuunch?" he asks and you can make out the outline and coat colours of a Munchlax. He doesn't look too afraid, mostly curious.

You smile to the Munchlax and toss him some Pokéfood and he scoops it up. He steps back from the booth and you pass him, smiling while Ziz and Blade follow. He waves to you before tottering off back into the lobby, heading for the washrooms it looks like. You wander forwards towards the double doors into the seating area. Suddenly you see in the shadows a movement, something flickering on the edge of your vision. You turn and nearly jump out of your skin when a Spiritomb grins from his corner.

With your heart pounding, you turn to peer through the cloudy windows. You saw more movement through there in the alley between the seats. You can just make out a Luxio and Glaceon growing smaller as the wander down the alleyway, and from the hushed sounds, they are talking.

The antics in the alley don't quite catch your fancy so you enter the charred building. You are instantly hit by the smoldering smell of ash and you and your fowl cover your nose/beak and venture in. In the lobby area all is quiet except for some rummaging around the concession stand. You peak over the edge at a Ralts(M) going over some old candy bars. To your left are a flight of stairs to the bathrooms and upper deck of th theater, to your right is the door to the lower deck. A flash of flames flies by the small window of the lower deck doors...

You keep an eye on the Spiritomb while you walk forwards and push open the doors into the theatre. Ziz just barely fits through the doors and looks a bit disgruntled at squidging his self through. The Galceon and Luxio turn and look at you, but seeing no interest they turn, taking off down one of the rows. Not too much later you see a side exit door swing open and the last flick of Luxio's tail as they disappear. Startled by the fleeing Pokémon, a flash of fire to your right illuminates a female Cyndaquil in the corner. She is not looking at you, but where the two others disappeared.

As you cautiously venture down the alley you notice something peeking around the row of chair below you. You crouch down and the Eevee steps out and stares at you curiously. His older brother, a Leafeon, soon follows him. He looks from you to his brother before stepping back a bit and sitting down, watching. Lastly you notice something bouncing around on the stage and you can see a Happiny playing with a burned out stage prop.

Unable to decide just which Pokémon you want, you tell Ziz to Foresight the Cyndaquil, while Blade has a chat with Leafeon and his younger brother. Ziz nods and makes a short hop over the two, landing very carefully in the alley. His eyes grow red and he focuses his gaze on the Cyndaquil. She, already suspicious when he took off, tries to make a break for it. Thankfully, the red light beams out of his eyes, and the Cyndaquil is lit up. Now no matter where she goes, Ziz will know where she is. Still, she scurries under a row of seats.
Meanwhile after this is all over, Blade steps forwards and talk with the two Pokémon. Leafeon listens while the Eevee seems more interested in his twitching tail. Just before he pounces on it, Leafeon stops it and ponders Blade's question. He pushes his brother back and tells him to stay under the seats. He steps forward and conveys to Blade that he will battle him, if you want to catch the Eevee.

Well here here the plan, I want you do as you Jump down at Ralts Power up your leek as you spin then as you land unleash a False swipe, the instead of a Furry attack use a Night Slash...

Leeks: I bet if you do catch him your going to call him Cinderella instead of Prince Charming and Evolve him some day into a Gardevoir instead of a Gallade...

You nod and tell Blade he's up. Blade raises his scythes and gets a glint in his eye; he is looking forward to this battle. Leafeon turns, and talks to his little brother and the Eevee nods and bounds away to some seats at the back of the theatre. Ziz flaps up into the air again and lands behind you, out of the way. With the non-combatants out of the way, Blade and the Leafeon get to it.

Blade starts it off by glaring at Leafeon in a way similar to Ziz earlier, but in a more intimidating fashion. Leafeon stares into his glowing red eyes, and he seems unable to look away, or even move. He is terrified of the look Blade is giving him, and frozen to the spot. The glow slowly fades but the effect is not lost, every time Leafeon looks into Blades eyes, his movements slow and he seems fearful. He retaliates to this effect not by attacking, but by raising his head and making an eerie chiming howl. The lights dim in the theatre and you can almost imagine the night sky above you. A glow surrounds the Leafeon, sparkling a little in the low light. He slowly lets his cry fall away and the lights come back on. He seems much more confidant, able to look Blade straight in the eyes without fear.

Blade frowns at Leafeon's strategy and decides to try some of his own. He uses a little bit of psychic power and makes Leafeon believe that his form has split and there are now five Scyther's staring at him, scattered in the rows of seats. Leafeon growls a little and spins in place, looking at all the images. Suddenly he has an idea and he takes a deep breath, making something rattle in his throat. The second he breathes out; he is spitting glowing green seeds. He spins in a circle as he does this and he hits all the Scythers, revealing the real one as the third one he aims at. He smiles, showing his small, sharp teeth and Blade grimaces, rubbing his abdomen a little (though it barely hurt).

Blade has had enough of this 'strategy' and he goes for bashing the annoying Eevelution. Oddly enough, Leafeon is not moving, even when he raises his deadly scythes. He is watching Blade very carefully, an odd glint in his eye. Blade launches himself into the air and zooms at Leafeon. He makes a spinning slash with his scythes and flips in air to make an elegant landing behind the Leafeon. Leafeon has two twisting gashes down his sides, but oddly enough he made no noise. Finally he turns slowly, whimpering, but still looking pleased for some reason.

Vermillion~ I am terribly sorry for letting you stay idle this long. You have every right to punch me or something.

Blysse sniffs eagerly at the slashed rock. Almost immediately, he heads off down one of the many, many cavernous chambers. You follow at a brisk pace, not wanted to lose your guide. As you trail behind, you pass a pair of Zigzagoon, huddled together for warmth, as well as a Swinub pawing at the hard ground. A Glaceon watches disinterestedly from a craggy overhang as you pass it as well. Soon, however, Blysse lets out a yelp: a Sneasel has darted out in front of it and made an attempt to Slash. Blysse managed to jump back in time, however, leaving both Pokemon unscathed. What do you do?

Even limping, Leafeon is still game. Blade wants to make his even greater advantage against his wounded opponent, so he leaps up into the air and using Agility, zooms around the room to get behind his foe. Before Leafeon has a chance to turn around (or even realize where he went) Blade crosses his scythes and infuses them with light green Bug energy. He then makes one extremely fast slice to the back of Leafeon and he howls. Eevee, still hiding at the back of the room whimpers in sympathy and comes a little out of his cover.

Blade smirks; pleased with the damage he is doing to Leafeon. Leafeon whirls, anger making him forget his pain. In his rage he isn't thinking to clearly and simply slams into Scyther from point black range. Blade grunts in surprise as Leafeon digs into him with claws, but Leafeon gains his senses and leaps out of range of the painful scythes before Blade can gather his whits.

Leafeon, not stopping his assault cries out and glows white. A ball of energy is forming in front of his face and before Scyther can react to it, he launches it. The white energy slams into Scyther. It breaks through his exoskeleton and a purple energy is drawn into Blade. Blade ignores this for now, intent on revenge. He raises his scythes again and comes down rather lightly for a change on Leafeon. Leafeon tries to duck under the blow, but he still gains another slice on his back.

Leafeon has had quite enough of this and decides to try for some sympathy. He somehow makes his eyes seem innocent and tears form at the corner of his eyes. He looks at Blade, and pleads with him to go easier on the poor Leafeon, he isn't trying to beat him after all. Leafeon looks down and seems to be sobbing into his paws, and Blade relaxes his guard somewhat, feeling guilty.

Since Mew Master does not want his fearsome fighter feeling bad at even hitting the Leafeon, he orders for Focus Energy. Blade agrees to this, it seems contrary to his nature to be feeling guilty over battling. He crosses his scythes and lowers her head, eyes closed. He focuses his chi energy to become balanced once more and to see the unbalances in his foe. Leafeon does not want to see his good work gone to waste, so he looks around and decides that a chair would do nicely. He tackles and bites the chair, wrenching it loose from the floor. Then he picks it up in his mouth and flings it at Blade. Blade is feeling at one with his self and starts to look outward when he is sent careening backward as the chair slams into his scythes. He bounces and skids up the ally, and when he stops he's glaring at the grinning Leafeon.

While no bonuses were gained, Blade is quite willing to hit the Leafeon and so he stretches his wings. He takes off and Leafeon frowns at this before countering with his own Aerial Ace. He takes a running start, leaps onto a chair and then leaps at Blade. Blade, while surprised, is willing to meet him and the two slam each other in mid air. They both crash to the ground, Leafeon both hurting from their mid air collision.

They both get up, huffing a little and glowering at each other. Scyther decides he's had enough of this fancy footwork and simply raises his ever-trusty scythes and comes down on the Leafeon in an X movement. Leafeon tries to squirm out of the way but all he gets for his trouble is an X mark on his side. He snarls, severely ticked now and leaps at Blade. Bade, surprised, doesn't get his blades up in time and find a furious Leafeon chomping down on his face. He screeches, and tries to get him off but without hands, he finds this difficult. He swings back and forth and finally Leafeon is flung off. He leaves long bite makes in his wake and he manages to land neatly on a chair before getting down. Although he is looking very beat up now, Blade groans a little as the poison starts it way through his system.

This hot, murky swamp is home to a manner of grumpy and surly Pokemon. These are all Pokemon from the DP Generation. This small, secluded swamp houses some rare and tropical species.

You walk into the Safari Zone head offices and had to the very unbusy looking clerk. She smiles and asks the customary "How may I help you?" You state that you'd like one Ultra Ball and one Pokéball please and that you'd like to go to Wagwhomp Swamp. She nods and exchanges your points for the items. She also registers the Pokémon you're going to use and directs you to door behind her. You step out into an open courtyard and walk over to the Pokémon lined up behind the 'Wagwhomp Swamp' sign. A Kadabra steps forward as you ask for a lift. He grasps your arm and you glow a blue colour. The next second the cool summer air is replaced by staggering humidity and the sound of bugs buzzing. The Kadabra nods as you thank him and teleports away.

You are standing on a boardwalk that winds its way through the swamp and the deep jungle surrounding you. Surprised at the heat of this place you release Feizhi and Sora. Feizhi looks quite all right with the heat but Sora is none to pleased. You decide that wondering down the path into the jungle seems a good idea and head that way, your Pokémon following.

Just before you reach the jungle, you can make out a pair of eyes staring at you from the muddy water. You stop and a female Hippopotas raises herself up a little, ready to defend herself if need be. You look away and continue on, asking Sora to keep an eye on her. You don't get to far into the jungle before you see a Grotle and his little Turtwig son feeding on the grasses growing on the edge. The Grotle's attention is divided between you and something deeper in the bush. You peer into the darkness and you can just make out a Gliscor hanging upside-down from a tree, staring right back.

Leafeon has just about had enough of this, and his little brother Eevee is really starting to looked concerned now. Blade is not letting up and decides to take advantage of his poisoned status. Leafeon turns to the little light getting through the cracks in the roof and starts to collect it. Blade is not going to let a little Solarbeam get in his way and channels all the pain and anger from his poisoned status. His scythes glow a bright white colour and he comes at Leafeon. Leafeon tries to collect faster but with such little light, its hopeless. Blade slams him in the gut and slices at his back. Leafeon shrieks and rolls down the alley, all concentration lost. He doesn't move for a bit and Blade watches him carefully.

Finally he twitches and very slowly he gets to his feet. He looks from Blade to you and then calls over his brother. The Eevee bounds out from his hiding spot and whines to his brother in worry. Leafeon shakes his head and smiles, reassuring him he'll be fine once he gets into the sunlight. He licks his forehead once before nudging him towards you and Blade. He looks between you and his brother but with once final nod from Leafeon he runs past Blade (glancing at him warily) and stops at your feet. You smile and pet him before gently ticking the Pokéball against his head. He goes in without a fuss. You nod to the Leafeon, for he put up a good fight and he nods back. You return your Pokémon and exit the Playhouse. Leafeon watches you go before turning and walking out a back exit.

Once outside a Pidgeot is standing in the centre of the street and you climb onto his back. He takes you to the office where you collect your Trapinch. The desk clerk thanks you for your visit and you walk out with two new Poké's.

This hot, murky swamp is home to a manner of grumpy and surly Pokemon. These are all Pokemon from the DP Generation. This small, secluded swamp houses some rare and tropical species.

You leave these Pokémon where they are; none of them are particularly interesting to you. The Gliscor watches you as you tread deeper into the jungle but he does not move and soon he is lost from view. It is getting harder to see anything in the deep undergrowth but a bush rustles to your left. You motion to Sora to check it out and he hops off the path into the marshy ground, pushing aside the bushes. He is nearly impaled as a stinger comes flying out. He leaps back and you can see a Skorupi staring back. He is not pleased and seems ready to fight at a moments notice. Sora slowly backs away and you notice movement out of the corner of your eye. You turn and standing on the pathway is another Turtwig. He cocks his head, wondering what you are up to.

Sora bows and makes his apologies. The Skorupi glares at Sora and flicks his glaze up to you. Seeing you slowly backing away he accepts your apology and sincere and backs back into his bush. He is grumbling but relatively peaceful. You quietly step around the Turtwig and continue on your way. As the jungle gets deeper around you, it becomes harder to see. Suddenly a dark shape is on the path ahead. You sent Sora ahead and he signals the all clear. Its a Grotle, and he its just crossing the path, unconcerned with you.
You continue on and the trees thin out a bit and you can glimpse the swamp off to your right. A blue Shellos is slowly moving along a branch above your head and the bush to your left seems to be moving. You peer at it and can just make out a pair of eyes, the Tangrowth is so well hidden. You wonder why he is hiding when the swamp to your right lights up with a yellow glow. You part some of the bushes and can see a Electrivire. She is frying the water and you see fish appear at the surface and she scoops them up.

The Area:

A thick and heavy jungle where the best of explorers will find a thousand and one bugs. That's not to mention the abundant Poison types and several Grass types too.

The Journey:

You arrive and exchange the points for the Great Ball, and allow Athene to accompany you. Both of you are instructed to stay still as they bring a Mime Jr. out to teleport you to the location. Nervous as they explain to you this is the first time the little mimic will be attempting such a feat for his training for the Safari Zone, your world goes white.

You find yourself teleported a few feet above the ground, before realizing that gravity still works, Athene and you fall down in a mess with a thud. As you pick yourself up you can hear the sounds of the jungle as the humidity sticks to your clothes.

A female Carnivine hangs from a tree a few yards to your left, watching you and licking her chops. Behind you are a male Weedle and a female Yanma having an argument of some sort and a male Paras is burrowing down into the soil.

The Journey:

You continue down the beaten path, the sounds of the jungle filling your ears.

Off to the side you see a group of Weedle and Kakuna of varying sexes, along with a female Beedrill buzzing at you menacingly.

A female Pinsir and Dustox appear to have a loud argument between them, while a male Tangela is caught between them both.

You can hear some snoring off to the side, and see some bushes moving in rhythm with the snoring. A set of flowers moves along the edges of the bushes, and you recognize a male Roserade searching for something amongst the roots. Further down the path you can see two fern-like Executor walking away from you.

The Journey:

Continuing down the trail, you catch up with the Exeggutor, two males. A Crogunk, a female (Maybe?) watches you while letting out small croaks of their own.

A small hive of Combee are stuck to a tree off the beaten path, with a male Leafeon licking up some of the sap running down the tree trunk. He has a different coloration to some of the other Leafeon’s that you’ve seen before.

Coming closer to the Combee hive are a small group of Meganium, as you can smell their sweet scent lofting on the air.

You and Athene walk closer to the Combee Hive. The Meganium herd of three, Two females and one male watch you. The Male snorts at you, keeping between you and the cows. The Leafeon hears you and scampers away into the brush.

The Combee hive has six total Combee making up the hive. There’s a slight buzzing coming from higher up the tree and some chirping between a Venomoth and a Vespiqueen, and it looks like the queen is defending her honey from the moth. Things… could get ugly.
