Experianced 2v2 team raters needed!!!
OK, I am entirely new to the whole 2v2 scene, and with RSBot coming out, I decided to go beyond RuSa, and make a team from the entire list of pokemon. So here it is.
Ho-oh w/Leftovers
Bold nature w/Pressure
Sacred Fire
Recover
Whirlwind
Safeguard
I chose Safeguard over healbell as its better on the go. And with the number of spikes, he can WW after spikes are stacked.
Marowak w/Thick Club
Adamant nature w/Lightning Rod
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Brick Break
Sandstorm
2 Lightning weaknesses allow him to shine, not to mention that Rock Slide and Equake damage both opponent pokemon (omitting floaters and fliers for EQ). Very deadly
Cacturne w/Brightpowder
Timid nature w/Sand Viel
Needle Arm
Sandstorm
Spikes
Teeter Dance
HUGE annoyer. Teeter dance gets everyone confused, and with Sandstorm going, the odds of hitting him goes down further. Thats when the spikes can really start to drop. Over half of the Rapid spinners are weak to grass, allowing him to be deadly.
Forretress w/Leftovers
Careful nature w/Sturdy
Rapid Spin
Spikes
Light Screen
Earthquake
I know he doesnt have great SD, and fire will kill him, but once their fire is gone, if he has Lightscreen up, he has great resists and can last. Equake gives incoming fire pokes a surprise.
Gengar w/Leftovers
Modest nature w/Levitate
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Haze
Mean Look
I love this guy. Immune to fighting, normal and ground, and cant be poisoned. Not only that, is fast enough to be an efficient hazer, and mean look allows you to trap their rapid spinner, etc, so that you can get rid of them and do some damage.
Golduck w/Chesto Berry
Bold nature w/Cloud Nine
Surf
Ice Beam
Calm Mind
Rest
Cloud nine prevents Sandstorm from effecting him, and surf with stab post Calm mind can really deal out some hurt.
Anyways, Id love some of the experianced 2v2 raters to give it a rate, and give some feedback. Ive spent days making this team, so please spend a few minutes just giving me some criticism.

Ho-oh works ok, but I think sacred fire has low PP. If its one of your starters and so is marowak, its a good combo, but not the best one. Having them together stops ho ohs flying weakness but both are weak to water. One surf would hurt them both bad, not a great idea. Marowaks set is nice, but sandstorm will hurt ho oh.
However, cacturn and marowak will work together, with sandstorm. The SS only ups his evasion by 8% though. I dunno he might last.
If you really want SS then I would suggest Tyranitar. His trait makes a SS start without wasting a move. It might work.
You only really need one spike IMO Cacturn is weak and so is fortress. I guess having both of them would garentee at least a spike or two.
Gengar is a good hazer. But he could have toxic or confuse ray, I dunno though. Since you have a ghost, it might be a good idea to have an exploder, gengar can also stand out there while you Equake.
Yes Goldduck would avoid SS but there are better Special tanks out there. I would switch a to a different poke. Nice team though.

Thanks for the rate, I really appreciate it. I wasnt even thinking about PP, so yes, your right, flamethrower goes in over it. As far as Cacturne, hes more for Teeter Dance, as confusing both the opponents pokemon is a valuble asset. I didnt use tyranitar as his weaknesses are just too numerous, and would push some weaknesses into the 3x range. As far as spikers, I like using 2, as you can stack them quicker. And since cacturne is a great annoyer, and Forretress has rapid spin, they play vital roles beyond just being spikers. One thing I have never understood is how Skarmory is considered strong, whereas Forretress is considered weak. Yes, 4x fire weakness means fire kills him, but if they are not using fire, he has the same def as skar, but with more HP. And his SD is slightly lower, but he gets Light Screen. By all accounts, Forretress is tougher than Skar, its just his slow speed that is detrimenal. I didnt really think of explode + gengar, as that would work with forretress, but I think a trapper is very necessary to deal with trouble pokemon (rapid spinners, etc). Golduck is a totally underated, and with a high SA, and the ability to calm mind, then rest, he can lay some smack down with surf. Once again, thanks darkanine
