FIGHT!

The Water arena at the Indigo league hasn't seen this much time in a while. At the cusp of having to revolve to a new stadium, or keep his ground for the next combatant, we have UC's Scyther. Challenging him for dominance-and subsequently for change- is Mega's Magmortar.

The pair begin this round quite differently than previous encounters. with Scyther darting backwards over the water, and using his still hurting wings to help him hover. Magmortar, begins to call upon the power of pure unadulterated lava to fall around him-creating a veil to scorch anything that comes with contact with him.

That was the plan, until water droplets began to fall in the Arena. Slickened with moisture, the Lava Plume began to lose its heat, some of the taller plumes dying down and partially hardening. Magmortar growled, that wasn't supposed to happen.

*Raining now*

Knowing he did not have much left energy wise, Scyther opted to fly over the water and start from the farthest in, sticking both blades in the water. Breathing heavy, he surged forward, all that speed being used now to conjure up two large waves, and a V-trail behind him from moving so fast over the Watery arena.

Magmortar didn't care, Scyther had to come to him. He watched the bug make a wide sweeping arc, before speeding directly toward him..and flying up, that Slash not being the focal point of his attack, but the water he forced up! Magmortar covered his face, but the water surged up and struck him through his Lava Plume, dousing it and causing him some damage in the process.

Scyther meanwhile landed over the water, on a metallic lilypad, utterly tired.

Uncool. With his Lava Plume cooled down, he looked at the Scyther-whom just stared back at him. He had nothing right now. But he would. Oh, he would >D Least this worked in Mag's favor, he gained back some energy too.

FIGHT!

Ick. The rain was annoying enough as it was. Magmortar looked to the water below his feet and shied away from the edge. Scyther, still breathing hard, readied his scythes, he just needed more time.
No sir. He got none of that as a large blast of steaming fire struck him dead on. It was definitly weakened by the onset of rainand the distance it had to travel IN the rain-but it still packed a punch for the bug.

Bug was fried momentarily..and Magmortar decided to hang back. Unfortunatly, that was not the case as Scyther plowed across the water, his wings finally attaining their shape again. A sharp blow to Magmortars midsection caused him to double over in pain..

Holding nothing back from being in such close range, Scyther fired up in a rage, and rammed his head..into a thin but sturdy Protect hastily raised by Magmortar. The force of teh blow howeverforced Magmortar to slide ackwards, almost tilting the lilypad he stood on. Fortunatly he was able to roll past the speed crazed bug, whom breathed heavily and landed on another pad. Damnit!

Ok well i know your gonna have to recover after the Giga Impact so just try and brace to take that first thunder.
Use your speed after that use Agilty to dodge as best you can without using too much energy and then were gonna go 3'rd time lucky.
Another Giga Impact, but come in from above so that if you dont connect with Magmortar you hit the pad hes on. Lets see if it can swim.

FIGHT!

With the rain torrenting down here upon the water arena, Magmortar is steaming mad! So mad in fact, that he now uses it to his advantage. Crackled booms fill the air, and Scyther merely sits there, closing his eyes, imagining his next moves as they pan out.

Until-he's fried beyond belief. He winces, but his body is able to withstand such a shock. Glaring up from his perch, Magmortar roars in disbelief. What 'roids did that bug take!

Well, Magmortar snickered-seeing that there was no way he could take more of this. A cataclysmic shock of Thunder rained down on the lilypad, utterly destroying it, and all Magmortar could see was...smoke. He raised his cannons in the air and rejoiced on his lily pad, until the swift shape of Scyther could be seen floating above him, glowing.

..Aww you gotta be kidding me, he actually dodged it! His speed has GOT to be hyped up beyond belief!

Scyther knew the end was coming for him. But at this height, he didn't need much else to complete his masters bidding. He pointed his blades down and sped down with all the speed his body has been able to muster. Magmortar called the heavens to aid him once more, and they answered, a streak of Thunder bouncing its way across the sky.

Jees..who's faster, I could only watch as the bug seared blue, then red, and orange, a multitude of colors before the lightning bolt shot past me in its own yellow and white blaze of glory. Magmortar all at once realized its mistake, and cowered, covering its head with its arms.

It didn't matter. Scyther plows into him, sending them both down into the water-with then burst alive with the sounds of crackling ionic charges, before the water itself exploded in fury.The Thunder continued on its course, and..well...I'm just waiting for the water to settle down so I can see who's standing...

Coming out of the water now....is a still surviving Magmortar..that can swim! And wow, he brings up...and flings away a totally knocked out Scyther. Incredible.

As Scyther is flung aside, the field suddenly begins to shift. Magmortar watches as the water drains away, and all that was water is now replaced with dry sands and large boulders. The Rock field was the new playground.

Glad i coerced Magmortar into those swimming lessons. Magmortar, zap the water pulse with a thunderbolt when Blastoise shoots it out, so the conducted electricity will channel directly into blastoise. Then, try and use your energy to exert a small charge and some sparks from your body as if you were using thunder, which will hopefully get him to use mirror coat. Torment him, and if you can, use thunder.

FIGHT!

The rain still falls, as Magmortar shakes off the excess from his dunk earlier. While sand is int a preferred locale, he'll take it over lily pads.

The newcomer though, dosen't seem to mind the rain-and instantly shows it by iring off a rapid series of Pulses made completely of dihydrogenmonoxide. Almost as fast, Maggy turns, and fires back with a sequenced shot of thunderbolts.

The two elements hit, creating a sizzle of sparks and a twinge of strong ozone to hit the air. Both were left undaunted, but with a small respect for the power they both could wield.

Suddenly, Blastoise snaked both hands in, as they were obviously stinging. The bolt managed to jump through the droplets all the way back to him! Damn tricky Magmortar. At least the Pulses took the brunt of the attack.

Ready for a second try, Magmortar began to stomp his feet, his hands glowing with dark energy. Blastoise didn't like the look of this, and hunkered down, watching and gearing up for a Mirro Coat the instant Magmortar threw his hands up

Which he did!...and nothing came out. Blastoise looked up,from under a quasi-translucent shield that faded away, to see nothing.

Magmortar raised his hands up emphatically again! Blastoise cowered again..and again, nothing. However, the dark energy began to seep into Blastoise, frustrating him that no Thunder was actually coming.

Getting fed up with this facade, Blastoise roared in his disapproval. This wasn't a game! But Magmortar still did it, faking him out with a short spark here and there, it was Tormeting!

Unfortunately..Blastoise did not get to use Mirror Coat correctly at all that time...

[B: -6E Tormented: 5 actions M: -4E]

Unsure why that was even necessary, Blastoise raised his hands again, aiming to fire at Magmortar. The fire-beast shook its eyes free of water, and flared up, this time truly calling the power of Thor.

Blastoise quickly hunkered down, and began to shimmer...but in retrospect of the Tormenting, the shimmering ended quite abruptly.

And I had to turn away. Watching a Blastoise get roasted is NOT my idea of a good time.

ITS A GREAT TIME! HERE AT THE INDIGO LEAGUE!

Blastoise rolled over, in his shell still smoldering, as Magmortar hunkered down, tired out. Least the rain ended, leaving mud-puddles everywhere.

Magmortar sat on his haunches, thinking the worst was over. Hell at this juncture, he could even take a nap. With some help from that Blastoise's Yawn...he just might...

Lazily, Magmortar slid into a slumber, a slumber which seemed like something out of Jason IX. Burning trees, a lava lake, it was bliss!

Until a torrential downpour began to drown everything, including him. He couldn't swim fast enough, he couldn't flash vaporize the water--it was over! He sunk in his dream- and on the field too, utterly unconscious.

FIGHT!

As Magmortar was recalled, a haunting aura filled the Stadium again. Fans cheered this spectacular match as a Mismagius appeared. UC and his 'toise remained ever vigilant, and moved forward. Still anguished over that Magmortar, Blastoise released a Confusing set of waves. Mismagius swiftly approached the attack, and Fired a Psybeam right through the center of the air transfer. Unfortunately, it didn't completely shatter the force-but it did weaken it.

Blastoise though-reeled back from the Psybeam's stronger frequency. Well, he'd have something for THAT thing..

Before Mismagius had enough time to set up focus for her next attack, a Large blast of water came Pulsing! The Watery orb smashed into Defeater's face, and threw it backwards. Dazed from the hit, the ghost accidentally fired the Confuse Ray it was preparing....

upward....It's a miss that time.

Calmer now, Stoise followed up on his Orb like Water Pulse with another, but Mismagius seemed to be slightly aware of that idea. She managed to fire off a Thunderbolt at the incoming watery jellybean-shattering it into charged droplets and shocking Blastoises' head. Take that-stinkin' turtle!

Ok so while its focusing on you to use Psychic use Captivate to distract it. Make it concentrate on you so hard it actually forgets why its concentrating.
Follow that with mud Sport to weaken that electric attack and go in with an Ice Beam to finish.

FIGHT!

Defeater floated up a tad in order to prepare for its attack. Blastoise watched suspiciously, raising his cannons in tandem to the levitation. Once Missy stopped moving, the cannons locked in place, and began to glow white at their nozzles. However, Blastoise lost the sensation of the ground, as Defeater raised him up bodily, squeezing with her mental prowess. In no time at all, he was higher up than her!

Pained but undaunted, the cannons fired off a series of Captivating blue waves that fell over her, and she continued to apply pressure to the 'stoise. But Blastoise began to lower, as the force she was emitting dropped..drastically. Blastoise then figured the bad side to this...as he began to fall...

[B: -4E/-8H M: -8E -2 SPATK ]

Now encumbered by falling, Blastoise focused his efforts downward. Spinning until; his cannons faced the upcoming ground, they fired off a deluge of water that crashed into the rocky silt. In no time at all, Blastoise landed in a field of Mud, that splattered up and around. Just in time to, as a small Bolt of Thunder shot towards his once falling form, but was drastically reduced to no more than a pinch.

Mismagius wafted there, confused. How was that so weak?

Feeling a bit safer now, Blastoise stood back up, cannons locked and loaded. He ran under Mismagius, whom stared him down like a dirty rotten skunk. A battallions' worth of Ice was Beamed up at the ghost, and she retaliated with a Ball from ehr own Shadowy Realm.

Her forces lost out to the wave of Ice and she was struck back hard, knocked back to the ground by the glaring blow.

Ok then...Start with Swagger. Mismagius is a ghost type, its Attack is the last thing we need to worry about since most of its attacks are SA and then follow with Flash Cannon and another Ice Beam.

Dont falter Mismagius...avoid the swagger with a Calm Mind. Then use hypnosis, and Dream eater. If hypnosis doesnt work the first time, then follow up with Energy Ball instead.

FIGHT!

Blastoise seems to be holding his own against someone that's nicknamed a Blastoise Defeater. In no time at all though, Blastoise begins taunting the ghost, trying to show off its Swagger. But the Defeater is Focused, serene and Calm in its own trance to enhance its focus. Unfortunately, Mismagius did not see the Swagger attempt.

[B: -3E M: -4E -1 SPATK +1 Sp Def]

With some prowess back, Mismagius was quick to throw a sequence of waves at the water type. However, Blastoise was able to disorient the ghost with a Blinding blast of Flashy liquid out of his cannons. The Cannon-speed attack slammed into her face, pushing her back a bit. That tasted like hot metal!

[B: -6E M: -3E]

With the threat of sleep passed, Blastoise began another beam of Ice. It was prepared, and fired out of its left cannon, striking Missy and causing her to spin. Within the spin, a green aura fell about the ghosts's hat, and when he came to a stop, it was flung forward, a new kind of Energy in a Ball. Stoise was not expecting a Grass hit, and so was flung back. That attack had a kick.

FIGHT!

Blastoise seems to be in pain! But with the following command, the massive turtle hunkers down and focuses his cannons on "Defeater" Pure white energy encapsulates his cannons, and he just waits.

Seeing Blastoises apparent will to live just end, Missy takes no time at all to force up a Shadow Ball--although it still feels like its weaker. A hearty fling, and the attack rang out over Stoises back...

Missy then watched as the cannons fired, Pure shining light ripping sight away as she screamed from the pain of the blast.

[B: -6E/-8H M: -10E/-15H]

The turtle still wasn't moving. Well. Missy didn't care. She wanted to make it turn over and show its belly! Arms raised up, and the thunderclap cold be heard. A straight Bolt flew from her side of the arena, lighting up Stoise, who gritted his teeth in pain. Cannons relocked onto their target, and a second-larger-Mirror shot was fired! Mismagius fell to the ground after that blow.

The turtle still was firing! Missy took the time to suck up as much plant energy as she could this time. A hefty Energy Ball wavered over her head, and at the tip of her head, was sent to greet Blastoise. He dug his arms and legs into the ground, writing slightly as the Energy ran over him, enacting a feeling like he was being dried of all the water inside him.

The right cannon barely raised, but a third hefty shot was fired, Missy starkingly upset over the ordeal she now encountered.
