I'm not exactly sure what's coming, Double-A, but we gotta do out best to survive it. So... Protect against his Endure combo, and then use Aerial Ace twice! He can't Protect himself from both of them!

Round 24

The standoff continues as Armaldo callously stares at the hovering bug. Each know this round spells the end for one of them-and neither feels as if they failed in achieving a splendid show of performance. Heracross took the initiative, and stopped flying.

Armaldo quickly put his guard up, as the bug landed on the dias. Slight tremors rippled through the floating stone construst. Hera kneeled enough so his horn touched the dias-its cupped end directly in range to crash into Armaldo if he even moves an inch.

But Armaldo dared not. Eyes on that horn, he was quick to Protect. The gleam of light for the split second caused Hera to glow as well, but not in the standard sense. Jumping backwards, Hera cleared the edge of the platform, and began to fly once more. Armaldo watched as a small orange orb was formed over the floating insect. The orb grew rapidly, until it was as large as him!

Then the wave of energy crashed onto his Protecting form. He winced at the power Hera was still able to emit! Hera though, snickered, knowing that shield would not hold forever, and quickly charged up an even larger one....

...::Our esteemed ref could only watch as the wave of Fighting energy passed for a split second. As the blanket of power finally passed over AA, he took is moment. Two accelerated steps and he was airborne, both arms outstretched in an attempt to close the gap between him and Heracross. Unfortunately, Hera was ready-with a Second Focused Blast of his own raw power.

Armaldo didn't care, and flew into the incoming blast full power. A scream erupted from the collision, only to be drowned out by the explosion of the Blast.

As the light faded, only Heracross was spotted still wavering his his flight. Armaldo seemed to have been SMASHED out of the arena...! Hera gaze is unbroken, affixed below him. Following it leads us to a rapidly falling form, smashing through platforms and vines, heading for an inevitable end at the bottom of Rumble Falls.::

A mere cough, as Hera flew back to the dias. He was tired, for sure, but he wouldn't quit.

::Heracross idly waits for his opponent, as he sits down, taking time to rest his body. However, the scenery begins to warp and readjust, throwing Hera into a different land. Unsure about this new place, he stands up-back on ground.

So many bricks-and gaps..what the heck, was he in Super Mario World?

Actually, it kinda does, seeing as, you know, the objective was to use Focus Blast if Armaldo was BLUFFING (or buffing, whatever the Hell that means). I told him to use Protect outright, so there was no 'bluff' involved.

So, what the Hell just happened? And why did I get screwed over because UC didn't make his attacks clear?

'Buffing' is a term which means any move that isnt an attack used to improve a players stats or condition.
You chose an attack that wouldnt have triggered either endure or counter in an attempt to use up my attacks but instead triggered my sub.

o.o You're both right.. ::Curses:: Hear me out though.

Blade: You're right. No not about UC influencing me. (I didn't even read that post you quoted him for 'til just now lol) Right about the fact that Hera was going to use Endure when he felt he was going to be attacked.

However, Hera was instructed to use Focus Blast if you tried Buffing your condition.

UC is right in the meaning of buffing (at least one of them) Protect acts as a buffer against any condition-thereby preserving your physical condition for at least one more round.

Hence-When I read the attacks, I saw it as you "buffing" your condition to invulnerability for one action-forcing Hera to attack rather than endure.

Any questions? And yes, you both made your attacks clear as day to me. I would have asked if I didn't think I could understand them. (And no, that's different than making a mistake in interpretation.)

But, if you still feel its wrong, lemme know.

I don't know what 'buffing' means, and one definition I found on dictionary.com is 'to strike repeatedly,' so you could've meant the exact opposite for all I know.

I suppose I should've asked if 'bluffing' is what you meant before I attacked, but this is the second time a misunderstanding has screwed me over in this match.

Again, since I'm winning, I'll overlook it, but this is the last time I will. Next time, UC, make your objective clear.

Round 25

Hera looked around at his surrounding. A river ran below him, and those telltale platforms still existed. There were people running around in the background as well. Winded from his last battle, he slowly turned when he heard the warbled call of his new opponent.

Rising from the strong river current came an enraged Kingdra-though what she was mad made absolutely no sense since she had not started battling. In any event, a stream of Bubbles Beamed their way toward Hera. Hera didn't waste the little time or energy he had left, and ran toward the river.

The bubbles followed Hera as the bug dove into the river after Kingdra. Being faster than a weak Heracross the bubbles blasted into Hera's back...exactly what he wanted. Enduring the blast; the force of the Bubblebeam hitting Hera's backside gave him the necessary power to lunge over and slam into Kingdra-completing a Reversal.

Blooper swam back, stunned the bug was still alive.

Blooper didn't care abut that first hit, and continued her assault. Hera bobbed to the surface of the river and began to Flail about in the water. Kingdra almost became the recipient of alot of hurt, had she not fired off a stream of draconic flame to strike Hera in the eyes. Hera stopped Flailing about, and was deftly swept away, leaving Super Blooper to await her next fight.

Round 26

As Heracross removes himself from the stage, the arena once again shifts. Luckily for Kingdra, I've isolated all stages that have water in them, making life easier, and the first one that is called upon is...Toon Links Stage!

(So much easier since the game came out xD)

In no time at all, Kingdra plops down around the ship, and his new opponent, a little Pikachu, pops its head up. on the little boat that sails behind the big boat . Seeing a massive advantage now, Kingdra rears hits head back, and suddenly finds that it was pushed underwater! Looking up- a small yellow dot can be seen high in the air, barely grabbing onto the big ship.

Kingdra stares, dumbfounded. The Fake Out came in the form of a head stomp!

Staring at Pikachu carefully, Blooper wafted back a bit, making the rodent's next attack that much harder to preform. Jumping back to the little ship, Pikachu bounced off the mast, and dive after Kingdra, fist crackling. Kindgra waited until the rodent was close enough, before a spray of electrical draconic fire was released from his snout. Pikachu swung through the Dragonbreath, and was able to nail Kingdra's snout, but not before falling in the ocean.

Blooper shook off that tap, and began to channel all the energy he could . As he charged, Pika made his way back to the big ship, scurrying up its side. As he climbed, Nasty Nasty thou8ghts began to run through his mind, and he successfully felt a bit more sinister as he stood upon the plank, over looking his opponent.

Bloopers eyes began to glow just then, and Pika looked up toward the dimming sun...uh oh!

A torrent of rocks began to fall ,smashing the ship to smithereens and throwing Pikachu off its deck, and onto a small rocky precipice meters away. Pika landed hard on his shoulder, sending off sparks to and fro.

Round 27

Unsure of the condition of the boat right now, Pikachu merely darted around the rocky isle he was on, watching as his opponent swam around the area. Blooper stopped his entrapment, and merely let off a series of snoozeworthy waves, enough to make anyone Yawn.

Pikachu-scared of what may happen if he was affected, covered his ears and Protected his body from the bombardment.

When Blooper stopped and noticed Pikachu with his ears covered, the secondary reaction kicked in. Pika darted across the rocks, but Bloopers sharpshooting was dead on, sniping Pikachu with a well aimed high speed Water Pulse. Pika skidded to a stop, but he had more than enough time to retaliate with a Charged Beam of electricity that skipped along the water and ensnared Blooper.

Feeling good about his attack, Pika chuu'ed voraciously, and leapt up as high as he could. A thicker than normal Thunderbolt rained from the heavens, crashing into Blooper-causing the mighty dragon to sink. However, Blooper resurfaced, only with a tonnage of water at his command. The Octazooka smashed into the airborne rodent, sending him flying onto the ship!

Pika stood up, wiping his face with his paws hectically. He couldn't see a thing!

Hmm, blind with Octopus muck huh.

Start with a Rain Dance, try and use it to wash the muck away and follow with Surf. It wont hurt much but might make it harder to aim/swim.
Then use Thunder.

Take advantage of the Rain Dance and blast him with Hydro Pump. Follow up by using Waterfall to scale the Surf. End with a Smokescreen to try and mislead his Thunder attack.

Round 28

The ship, as Pikachu found out, began to level itself out, and soon would be on its merry way. Uncaring however, the 'chu decided the seas needed to become stormy, so with a crackle of thunder here and there, the Rain clouds were summoned, via the Pikachu Dance.

As the falling droplets began to clear Pikachu's vision, a torrential deluge of water suddenly barreled over the edge of the ship, and slammed Pikachu! The rodent bounced high and far, landing in the ocean.

Rain Dance: 5 actions

With the seas as stormy as they were, Pikachu was lucky that a piece of wood was near enough for him to grab onto, and that Blooper still had to cover a distance to reach him. Irate, the small rodent began to channel a still unknown manner of controlling water through his tail.

Whatever he did, it worked, because soon, the rodent was Surfing the wave-and heading straight for Blooper. Blooper didn't fret, and swam up the wave, utilizing Waterfall to do so with taking minimal damage. As Pikachu saw his shortcoming, the wave crashed, sending the rodent flying...back on the ship!

Not worried about the rodent for a moment, Blooper dipped under water, and began to spin in place. Inky black fluids began to appear, until it was darned cloudy in the water. Pika looked over the rail, only to see a thick mass of clouds flowing out of the stormy seas. Well, no guts no glory...

A horrendously large Thunder slammed down in the direct center of the Smokescreen, electrifying the water all around. Blooper was blasted out of the center of the screen not by the initial attack, but from the fact that was water shocked the living heck out of him.

Stay underwater, Bloop - if we can't beat Pichu, we'll SINK him.

Use Focus Energy followed by Dragon Pulse to blow a hole into the underside of the ship. Keep doing that until the ship starts going under.

If one Dragon Pulse is enough to blast a nice, big hole in the ship, finish the found by Surfing - slam a nice big wave into the ship. If we're lucky, we might pull it right under.

Round 29

The mighty ship sailed on, seemingly impervious to the storm. Twisters began to form in the background, worrying Pika. If one of those came over here, it would be lights out. Fearing the worst, Pika began to Charge while holding onto the rails. Maybe he could end this...

Blooper was also Focusing his Energy, in hopes to scuttle that ship and leave that rat without anything to stand on.

Fully charged, the rodent opened his eyes, to spy a very large twister seemingly heading their way. Scared, he looked for Blooper, but the ginormous sea horse was not in sight. That was fine, as a purplish blue mass of energy suddenly rocked the boat, blasting through the bottom of the ship and through the deck where Pikachu was. Crying out in pain, Pika let loose his attack.

A equally ferocious bolt of Thunder fell from the sky, striking the spot where the Pulse of energy erupted from. Moments later, an enraged Blooper burst free of the depths, heavily smoking.

The rain was now yielding to wind, and Pika now found himself in the ocean again. This time though, the ship looked unable to sail anymore, as it began to tilt backwards. To the right of the sinking ship, came a flurry of water, as Blooper charged forward. Probiscus glowing, Blooper kept up his forward speed, causing the V-trail behind him to billow and surge upward.

Piakchu watched as the wave came rushing toward him, and tried to swim away. But outswimming a Water Dragon didn't seem that smart. All Pika had on his side was...the wind!

Swimming as hard as his little body could, Pikachu soon saw Blooper pass him. Knowing it was now or never, he forced himself out of the ocean-calling upon his element one last time. Blooper turned around to watch, and as the wave came crashing over Pikachu-a immense bolt blasted through the crest of the oncoming Surf. It bounced off Pikachu, and flew directly at Blooper. The bolt's reflector though was then crushed under the titanic force of the wave, and both Pokemon sank into the depths...momentarily...

The rain clouds cleared way, but the whirlwinds began to pummel the area. Soon, the scuttled ship and both combatants were being lifted high into the sky.....!!

But Blooper is not responding. I think that Thunder did him in!

Start with Agility and use Qucik attack to move even faster so your Iron Tail will really sting.

Round 30

UUrgh. As we now embark to deal with weird things singing in he background, Pikachu stands on the farthest platform to the left, watching as Dry Bones makes his nonchalant appearance. Swift as a whistle, Pikachu darts around on his platform, jumping off when it floats too far away from the main platform where Bones stands.

Bones dosen't seem to react, as he waves his bone around quietly, achieving a sort of Sword-like balance about it.

Bones had no chance to block the incoming yellow flash, Pikachu jumping off of his skull. Falling forward, Bones grounded himself via his bone, and turned to look behind him...

at the little nugget Substitute sitting there. Snickering to himself, Bones waited, seemingly testing the wind as the people sang in the background.

Seeing this as an easy damage free round,Pikachu got confident and dashed again at Bones, Tail gleaming with an Iron sheen. A the last second, Pikachu somersaulted up and revolved in mid-air, Tail went flying forcefully. Pikachu however, suddenly felt his momentum shift, and the Tail aimed toward the Substitute!

As Pikachu's attack obliterated the Sub, the rodent had no time to even realize the high speed Bone searing his way. The first connect smacked Pikachu vertically, as the Bone spun even faster skyward. Pikachu's apex was reached, and he let out a pained sigh, before noticing the Bone coming back around for a second attack!

...Wow.. That's a Nasty Smash attack right there. Pika is GOOOONE :O

Bones looked as Pikachu flew out of sight, his Bone landing in his outstretched hand.

Well, whatever. Bones, start with Bonemerang to keep Nidorino on the defensive. Then use Stealth Rock while he's trying to dodge. Finish by reclaiming your Bone and giving him a Bone Rush.

Correct Blade. When this match began, you two were only using the amount of Pokemon you were having at that time. So yes, yer stuck with 17.

Cus if ya kept adding Pokemon, that would suck cause the battle would never end in this year...

Yeah to be fair Blade i assumed it was pretty much locked when we started numbes wise.
I copied my ASB team list down at the start and im knocking one off each time i get one knocked out (or trading one that hasnt battled yet etc).

And im not claiming there may have been any Bias etc but any 'benefit of the doubt' that DL may have given either of us due to your handicap may also make things unbalanced should you now add to your team at a later date. And i did offer to limit my own team when we started but you insisted we carry on.

Anyway back to the battle.

Start off with a Sucker Punch to try and mess up with his Bone throwing Skills and follow with a Supersonic.
Then wait for it to rush you and throw a Toxic right in its face.
