Round 31

Letsa go! As I flip outta da pipe, and watch as Cuboner already begins to size up his target, a small yet prickly Nidorino. Nidorino waits until Marowak cocks his hand back, ready to fling that bone-before he dashes, and Sucker Punching Cuboner hard enough to make the ground type land on his back. As Cuboner falls though....

Cuboner sets the throw up, and flings that bone HARD, tiles flying up behind it as it whistles through the air. Nidorino though dosen't even fret, and dodges the bone at the last second. Nido stands over the now fallen Cuboner, sneering........

and then gets severely thwacked in the back as the Bonemerang returns. He winds upon flying over Cuboner, and sprawling out in front of the Mansion doors.

Shaking off the bony hit, Nido rights himself and starts off his offense with a lil' defensive play, altering sounds waves that begin to mess with Cuboner's focus. Cuboner was able to slam his Bone to the ground, and cause those same rippled tiles to fly up and around Nido in a consistent circle.

Cuboner now begins to climb the side of the mansion, with Nido idly watching. His mouth was foaming with delicious toxins he was wishing to deliver to Cuboner personally, but it seemed that his Supersonic was doing too well of a job...

until Cuboner threw his bone high in the sky, the bone spinning with a deadly poetry. Letting go of the wall he was climbing, Cuboner bounced on the awning, and reached up for his bone, grabbing it and flipping over twice, before throwing all his power into that femur. The Marowak sped down toward his target, Nidorino-who was standing on his hind legs, ready to fire. Once within range, Nido spat the Toxic directly into Cuboner's eyes, but had no chance to escape the powerful Bone Rush that slammed into his head.

The only benefit was that the Toxic messed up Cuboner's concentration, so the strike didn't have the full impact it could of.

Stumbling to the side after the attack, Cuboner turned his head away to try and remove the poison from his skull mask. Nido would have tried to see its face, but he was too busy nursing the bruise on his skull.

Round 32

The Mansion dosen't get a break. No sooner does the gook get cleaned out of Cubones mask, Nido's there. Right next to Dry, and with a focused blast of psychic energy, unleashes a close range Confusion.

Dry Bones stumbles around, falling into a pillar and smashing part of the stage atop himself. Breaking free of that mishap, Dry still wanders, dazed from that self-hit.

Uncool about the dizzyness, Dry Bones stumbles around some more, and is left a sitting duck for the small, yet potent deluge of Water that Pulses his way. If only one could stack Confusion. Dry Bones just huffed around, and peered at the ground, completly oblivious.

Coughing, Cuboner stared down at the ground, at the shattered glass over at teh part of the Mansion he broke. He'd wind up creaking through an awning -as a frosty Beam of Ice came from the wily Nido and slapped Dry up into the sky a tad. Falling back to earth, Dry dug a hole!

But..he didnt come back up?

Bones, just stay underground - try to clear your mind and shake off the Confusion. Once you feel like you can attack, un-Dig and beat his ass down. If you have any attacks left, hit him with an Earthquake.

Round 33

Staring at the ground in front of the mansion, Nido pondered about the Ground type. Well, he didn't have time to wait, the ghosts flying out of this mansion were just not cool right now. Water was Pulsed down the hole, creating the likelihood that one may be trapped inside it if it continued.

The water got to Dry, who freaked at the cold wetness of it all, and caused him to spin upward. Nido though...was right in the way, and so received a crack to his jaw as Dry shot up. Least he was out of the damn hole.

Still confused, Dry ran over to the lower pillar on the right side and began smashing his femur against it. Nido, unsure why he was doing that, charged over and delivered a stabbing Horn Attack right to Dry's gut.

THAT woke Dry out of his confusion, but for the moment, he'd eat the pain.

Dry didn't care, and as such, raised his Bone up hi, before throwing it skyward. the Spinning femur was then lunged for by Dry, and once grabbed, both wielder and weapon spun in the air one more revolution. Dry then heaved downward, forcing the weapon-and thusly himself to come crashing to the ground. The impact was strong enough to start a sizably powerful Earthquake.

Fearing this was going to happen, Nido happened to run right behind the point where Dry was to land. Biting his lips and standing on his hind legs, Nido merely fell forward when Dry hit, allowing Nido's amber aura-shelled body to eat the full force of the Earthquake, and also deliver some of that damage back onto Dry!

Nido lied there, spent, as Dry walked away, samurai style, hiding his internal pain. The Mansion looked to be on its last legs though.

Round 34

As the mansion wobbled on its weakened constructs, Nido took a fearful step backwards as Dry raised his club. Energies of a brown nature began to emanate from the tip of the blade, as Dry concentrated on the power needed to rip the ground asunder. Before Dry could release that energy, a nasty wave of purplish black energy ripped past his stomach, scarring his chest. It hurt, but Dry still slammed his bone into the ground-rattling Nidorino's system heavily.

The house crumbled then, unable to withstand the power of two Earthquakes. As the rubble consumed Maro and Nido, the latter dashed at Dry, a last ditch effort to try and and cause some serious pain. Water rained down toward Dry, but Dry spun his bone, creating a barrier of sorts that deflected the Water Pulse, and the incoming rubble. Nido roared as the rubble trapped him beneath its own roar.

Maro let the shield crumble, and walked free of the debris. He coughed loudly, before kicking Nido's prone body out of the wreckage too.

If you're SURE he's gonna be using a non-offensive move, try to get in a Flamethrower. But be careful. Stay on-guard, and do everything you can to make sure that they can't get a hit in.

I hate this stage, bUT i CAN'T BYPASS IT. >O AARHG Damn. Oh well. Old skool Mario stage. I'm just gonna sit on one of these pipes, as little Koopas and Crabs come scuttling out. Drykeeps his composure, noticing that the creatures have a while before they get to him. Not to be said for Ivy though, whop starts off with a fearless cry and swings those Vines full speed ahead. Whipping them to and fro in an attempt to hit Dry. Dry Protects, his Bone Club spinning fast enough to create the insta shield.

Seeing that Dry was locked into a corner now, Ivy began to whistle a tune. A soothing tune that caught the tightly clenched Dry's ears off guard. The song did have a calming effect, but Dry had to focus. Energy of a fiery nature came from dormancy, and blasted forward. The ring of Flame struck Ivy dead on, ending the song's origin and causing Ivy to scuttle backwards. He fell off of his platform and onto a lower one, barely missing a Koopa.

Yawning a tad, Dry lazily began to spin his club again. Just in time too, as Ivy retaliated with a furious set of Razor leaves, each trying to circumvent the bone and strike that groundish hide.

Round 36

Ivy watched with careful eyes as Dry took two steps forward, and held his bone out accusingly. Pulling the femur back to his mouth, Dry tilted his hood up and commanded a sour sounding ballad to be uttered form his inner soul. It sounded just..ugh.

In dire need to try and shut the horrid song up, Ivysaur released a deluge of Leaves at the Marowak, to see that while they still inflicted damage-he still stood! Vines lashed out next, desperately Whipping away Dry's microbone. The ballad over for now, Maro just stands back, breathing heavily.

Having nothing left, Dry could only watch as Ivy littered his body with Leech like parasitic Seeds. The second they wrapped around him, he tried to tear them away.

In teh back of Ivy's mind, that song still rang out to him...

Round 37

With the Marowak down, this battle has now reached a sparking new stage! Can UC keep the pressure on? It seems Blade might be changing that idea, as a sparky Rotom enters the fray. Ivy takes no chances with this new competitor (or terrain) and silently calls upon a veil to melt around his body for a while.

Plaz floats around this area, and lands on the platform over to the left, before causing the electrons in the air around him to repel him skyward. The little ghost Rose like a Magnet in reverse polarity.

Feeling safe, Ivy took a good look at his surroundings. The poison was bubbling below, and he didn't like that. Things lived in poisonous areas. So, with a few grunts here and there, a swath of light began to filter in from the heavens, warming up the area. Plaz appreciated the lightening of the area, and continued with his own protection, using some of that Light to create a Screen to hide behind.

Plaz looked down, watching as the weird creatures in this area seemed to walk around with no worry about their battle. Attention back to Ivy and his glowing bud quickly made Plaz nervous. Plaz fired off a stream of dancing blue flame, that was immediately barreled through as Ivy charged toward him, bug shimmering with light. Rotom floated off the hedge of the platform, as Ivy flipped in midair-bud pointed right at Plaz. The Beam was shot, and Plaz shield held out, but there was still some damage done.

Round 38

Plaz was none to happy with being shot by a beam of light! To show his "appreciation", the wily electric phantom allowed a shower of sparks to envelop the air between him and Ivy. The small charges then took the shape of Ivysaur's body and replastered themselves upon Plaz's body, giving him an oddly glossy sheen. Ivy decided to add to the copycat's appearance, launching several Seeds in the air. They stuck, and Plaz now had two great additions-Leech Seeded and Safeguarded.

Oh, nope. Leech Seed failed. Sucks.

Ivy, having no real option now, jumps back to the lower platform, gallavanting across its bumpy landscape, and lunges for the rightmost ledge, reaching it with the assistance of a vine here and there. Plax merely follows, charging up a nasty phantasmal Ball of Surprises. The sphere helps Ivy flip onto the platform-at the cost of pain. Ivy retaliated by shooting a thick sludgelike Toxic batch at Plaz, but it melted clean off of the ghost.

Well, lookee here! The acid lake seemed to be rising. Jumping for the highest platform. Ivy was blasted backwards by an Ominous Wind thrown by that evil ghost. He fought through it though, his vine reeling him into the ledge and barely skimming the acid. Once safe on flat ground, Leaves were flung with a Magical influence at Plaz. Plaz watched as they hit his barrier, inflicting lesser damage than Ivy would have desired.

Plaz glimmered with glee however...

At this point, Ivysaur's safeguard faded, and he didn't seem to care. This place was kinda creepy.

Round 39

The acid/poison bath beneath the highest platform began to slowly subside, easing Ivy's concerns for now. Fully focused on Plaz, Ivy backflipped, throwing his vines up hectically to hurriedly raise energy The planet listened, even as a deathly eerie ball of blue flame came soaring toward him. At the last second, the flame was dispersed by an invisible wall, Safely Guarding Ivy from that hindering effect. Plaz sparked in fury.... and floated upwards, to avoid Ivy for a bit.

The sun faded.

Seeing Plaz up high, apparently Charging up his rage for the blocked WilloWisp, Ivy did a little Growth of his prowess himself, hyping his body up to contend with his fellow battler.

Both battlers pumped up, they both seemed to wait for an invisible signal, before unleashing their powered attacks. Ivy ran under Plaz, and used his vines to throw himself skyward by latching them onto the hedge of the platform, throwing himself off, and then whipping himself up vertically upon the apex of his swing. Plaz waited until the bulbous planimal was close enough, before releasing a maelstrom of Discharge energy, trying to fry Ivy's circuits. That natural resistance wasn't necessary, Ivy did it for the lulz!

A shield enveloped the Planimal as he flipped over the Rotom, for the sheer fact that the poison bath rose up over the highest platform momentarily. As Ivy began to fall back down towards it, the poison bath dropped dramatically, allowing him to land on a lower platform to the left once more,

Plaz was pissed. Even moreso now since his Safeguard was gone, as WELL as his Light Screen AND his Charge was WASTED!

Ivysaur takes no precaution anymore, seeing as the bubbling pit of acid was not rising again. Foamy purple substances began to bubble inside the bud, and Plaz didn't approve. Hovering abut Ivy, a Dark pulse was shot directly down- exactly when the Bomb was blasted upward-a deluge of Sludge heading Plaz's way. The Rotom watched as the Sludge Bomb curved up and slammed him from the side, as hi Dark Pulse literally pinned Ivy to the ground for now.

The floating Pokemon did not dishearten Ivy. He jumped upward-reaching the final platform, and aimed a second projectile at Plaz. However, this time, this was a bright green Energy Ball. Plaz saw his Energy Ball, and raised Ivy one Shadowball, to which both were released at the other, and the balls collided in mid-flight. While not directly struck, both Pokemon were hurt by the kickback from the collision

Palz looked down, after the acid stopped splashing about, to see that Ivy was panting. Though winded and still quite fearful as the acid began to rise and cover the highest platform, Ivy took a breathtaking leap upward. Without a care in the world, Ivy's vines began to whip around wildly.

The ferocity Plaz received was countered, as Plaz threw an Ominous Wind to try and shut him down. That would not be the case, as Leaves rained down from the heavens. They struck without warning, slicking at Plaz over and over again. The wind did bug him, but it was not strong enough to blast all those leaves away.

After that strenuous attack, Ivy slightly fell on his face, his Safeguard ending.

Dark can i just ask, are you taking energy off for all these platform jumps you keep making Ivy perform cos i cant understand why im losing so much more compared to Rotom.
Admittedly Leaf storm is a big move but ive been well down on Energy for most of this match.

Guess if i have to be a sitting duck for the first two turns i should try and get some of that health back. Giga Drain.

No o.O No energy for the Jumps.

Its maybe because I keep assigning energy values based on Move Power for the older moves. Like Razor leaf being 7 Ep may be a tad high-, but at the same time-Protect and SolarBeam and Leaf Storm take up gobs of energy :O. (Between 9 and 12 Ep :O.)

Also, Rotom's moves aren't as high-powered as Ivy's are, and he also has a boost to his Attack parameters. However, I have been trying to work out energy parameters better so I don't seem like the high extreme energy killzone Ref.

So yeah, energy values may start to drop for moves as I fine tune. It'll start after Ivy and Rotom both depart-so that at least things can even out. Sorry if it seemed lopsided, didn't mean it that way.

There's also the fact that Ivysaur's been on the field for almost twice as long as Plaz...
