I actually would've stolen the zodiac power for my miko, but since I can't actually post anything on the very short timeframe I have online, Box should take it for his plotting.

Also, it's been bloody raining bloody heavily every day lately, so I even have problems getting to a source of internets, let alone semi-daily activities like grocery shopping, laundry, fangirl visiting, etc, etc.

HI I'm about to double post but whatever, I have several points to make in light of recent activity in the RPG. (SHOCK DESU.)

1. I will be SPECIFICALLY tagging Kalad in the post I will probably make within the next few hours so that the mysterious Furin student Kirkle (or was it Kalah) mentioned in her post can now be him if so need be.

2. We were going to have some plot thing where everyone except zodiacs and related characters eventually forgot about the dead zodiacs (like Yuko/CEB and Ryuu/JT) and thus there would be drama (maybe) and SHOCK DESU. Well anyway since classy made Akaryou still know who Ryuu was, we'll probably be making Akaryou evil in some way or another. Or maybe he'll be good. WHO KNOWS. but anyway yes as a general rule, unrelated/unimportant characters will 'forget' about the dead zodiacs.

3. Next post will be crappy and vaguely to the point. I apologise for the sharp decline in the quality of my posts. It's all because of Gintama and final project and laptop-kun dying and btw it is still dead.

EDIT FOR GREAT JUSTICE: Am tagging half-dead Hotaru and currently unconscious Akio. I have about 65% of post written but I have class tomorrow and I need sleep. I will finish and put it up ASAP but my internet access will obviously be shaky till the revival of laptop-kun.

Well, I was just going to say in the lounge that if kalad doesn't make a post or state something within 5 days the "unmentioned furin student" will officially be him and his zodiac will be up for grabs. :V BUT HAY CHIKO SAI IF YOU WANT TO POST DOZO DOZO.

Also, finals coming up. My next post may not come for another week, about. This day will probably be a long day, and I apologize for that.

EDIT: A FEW CLARIFICATIONS ABOUT THE REACTIONS TO ZODIACS/STUDENT DEATHS.

First off, the knowledge of the murders and deaths is only restricted to the two schools and its periphery, thanks graciously to Akio's father (this is implied in AkaiKami's posts, I apologize if people missed it). Basically he finds a way to control the media to prevent news and rumors about the school spreading to parts outside of the city.
However, there's still the possibility of relatives and parents, being the caring and worrisome parents they are, of spreading the news to others. Therefore Akai and the gang have thought up a perfect solution: wipe the memories of parents and relatives so that they never knew they had a son/daughter/whatever that was attending one of the schools. For this reason, if anyone approaches the relatives of the deceased and asked them what happened, they usually have no recollection of having a son or daughter attending the school, at all.

If there is anything unclear please tell me. In fact, if there is anything I am doing wrong and you want to stab me for it, please tell me as well. Or if you just want to stab me because you hate me for no reason, that's fine too. But in any case, please keep me informed of your thoughts and opinions. :V

It's been 5 days since WO has posted and kalad hasn't said anything, so now his zodiac is officially up for grabs. Everyone be sure to be civil about who gets the zodiac and try not to kill anyone for it.

In the meantime I'm sure no one cares but ChikoSai is still laptopless and I still have finals till next wednesday, so we shall resume this lull period where no one has anything to say or do. :V

It's been a month since anyone posted. Shoot, I thought we were actually going to see this thing through to the end.

We're in a prolonged hiatus. To those who want to consider it dead, so be it, but there is likely a chance for revival (at the very least the three of us show interest in doing so). However suffice to say that since the three of us have been rather full of things to do we haven't had the time to get together and get this thing back going.

If we officially want to declare the RPG dead we will make an announcement here of it. Until then, officially the RPG is on a long hiatus, unofficially some may declare it dead.

The ailment of my laptop has baffled two technicians in swift succession. It is still dead, though I eventually intend to resurrect it. Anyway, have got a mac now, blahblahblah hope it doesn't die, etc.

Just an idea I was throwing around with Box: we could move the whole damn RPG to Google Documents, put it all in one document, anyone can edit it, write however much they want at a time, etc. Of course I realize not everyone has a Gmail account, but just tentatively sounding it out here.

Yes, the RPG is nearly dead, but not quite. Almost. Aaaaalmost.

EDIT: Also, please treat this as a 'feeler' post to see who else is still interested in this RPG, apart from the three hosts and Classy. IF YOU STILL THINK THIS RPG HAS A HOPE PLEASE POST HERE.

That being said, the more important issue here is the opinion of everyone of moving the RPG to gDocs. We thought up this idea to be beneficial for several reasons:

1. In this way, no matter how small or minute of an idea you want to write about, you can put it in without feeling too much shame. In this posting format, if we just add one sentence to the RPG we'd feel like idiots, but if you do that in a document that would be just fine.
2. We can edit any place in the RPG we want. This can have several connotations, one being, for example, we can actually be following the RPG in chronological order. Another would be that we can edit or add a few things previous RPers wrote in case there is, for example, character inconsistencies, events needed to be added, or whatnot.
3. Two or more people can be writing in the document at the same time, instead of relying on one person to post their part, then the other. Dialogues can almost be written as if the characters themselves were talking to each other.
4. It would force people to read the RPG posts besides their own and their closest friends more, maybe?

Of course there are downsides to using gDocs, though for blatantly propagandic reasons I won't mention them here. However opinions will still be greatly appreciated.

It sounds great, but there's a few problems with me. The first thing is I don't have GMail, and I don't know how gDocs works. Then if I'm working with something I haven't needed before and it's only for one or two things, I tend to forget to check it regularly. And, if people are making small changes to it, it means that I'll be trying to remember those small changes every time I remember to check it.

But my teacher recommended that I get a more professional e-mail address. One that doesn't relate to my love of Pokemon or the Nintendo 64.

One thing I forgot to mention as a benefit is that it will also increase interaction between the people participating in the RPG by a lot. From getting the basics down with gDocs to discussing and writing events in the RPG at the same time onto the document, it will encourage interaction so much that if one person that wishes to, say, interact with you in the RPG then you can contact him/her over IM and start discussing and writing the event right then and there.

Your opinions are highly valued and the statements you made are quite valid. I still don't know how in the end this will turn out. At the very least everyone will learn how to use gDocuments if anything else, which in itself is a very useful thing to know. :p

Personally, I don't like it. I just like using the posting format to keep it more RPGish. If we do this through dDocs, firstly I don't have Document support on this computer. Secondly, it will further decline my visits to TPM which I really don't want to do.

Thirdly, I just like the way it has been going and would rather not have emails lost in my junk email and my school email is strictly business and most likely would spam filter everyone else out. xD XD

But what you guys want to do is most important. I'm just stating what I'd rather do.

Hmmm, personally I've always liked to turn RPG posts into story form as much as possible so that it would look as if it was a long, continuous thing, but then, that would be ignoring the entire point of it being an RPG, I guess.

IMO gDocs is basically Microsoft Word online. I actually started using it cos I was collaborating with a friend on a subbing project for Gintama. To keep track of what and where we edited we used "edit logs" in a different text colour, although with more people this could get hairy and pretty confusing.

It's not done via email as the documents are hosted on another server in a separate archive (?) where there is no spam or etc because people don't upload spam in .doc form, though having the Gmail address is required to access the documents (it's like a username on a forum, sort of).

However, since an objection has been raised, we could probably keep this on the forum. Although most likely Box and I might double up/collaborate our posts, maybe Kirkle if she wants to (she hasn't replied my mail about this yet, she's busy jobbing), because we're lazy, don't write long enough posts, and get more motivation when someone else is on the same document typing things like "WILL YOU STOP PLAYING DYNASTY WARRIORS/WATCHING LOLIS AND FINISH YOUR POST DAMMIT!!"*

ChikoSai's idea sounds good enough. Since the few people who posted their opinions are already like "eh" about the gdocs idea, We'll just leave it as optional form for people to collaborate on posts and leave the actual RPG back on the forum. Me and ChikoSai will probably begin doubling up on making posts though.

Although this assumes that we can get past our timezone conflicts but oh well.

The gDocs idea is confusing me. Although I'm sure if someone sat down and explained it to me via msn/something, I'd get it.

But yes, the RPG is not dead. I repeat! NOT. DEAD. ^___^ I'll (again) try to knock something together on paper and see what I can do. Since it was mine and Wenny's turns to awaken next anyway, I'm kinda eager to write my next post.
