Round 80

As Dialga appeared over the other Pokemon, rearing its magnificent crest high, Boo floated low. Compared to Dialga, Boo and Snorlax were merely pawns on a bigger chess game that they had no inkling of true knowldge about. In respect, Boo managed a smile and a wave to the Time(thank you<< dunno how I did that) Pokemon...before being blasted by Snorlax and his ill-timed Psychic. Dialga seemed amused at Snorlax's attack, but made no move at the moment.

Boo: -8H ==///== Snorlax: -8E

Floating backwards, Boo quickly tries to get back on the offensive. Calling huge Thunderclouds from the sky, Boo floats up higher in order to try and better his aim. Snorlax dosen't budge. Instead, he opens his mouth and Yawns-forming a Shadowball that shoots its way up to Boo.

Boo's aim is spot on, and Snorlax lurches up again, obviously stung by that Thunder right on his left foot! As Snorlax resettled down near the middle of the stage, Boo came down kinda fast, having being his by tha Shadowball that came out of nowhere!

Filling back up with air, Boo now floated up over Snorlax, quickly dropping balloon waste on him. Now, Snorlax eats most anything, but today, Snorlax wasn't even touching that...

well ok, he gave it a sniff. Then chucked it since it wasn't food. It smelled like sick to him. In retaliation for being misled and having to smell Toxic balloon waste, an Ice Beam was charged and fired from his pudgy right arm. Boo was struck along his left side, and spun downward flying off the edge of the stage

Seeing Boo fly off the stage, Snorlax patted his belly. Maybe now he could sleep. But the Time Pokemon behind him wanted more. Eyes glowed, and a shining light appeared above his head. Unassuming of the light, Snorlax was privy to being blasted from above by the power of Dialga, and sent to the lower, rocky portion of the stage.

Boo was shocked and stunned to see Snorlax down there now, but ha-revenge sucka!!

Round 81 (81 flippin rounds. Yowza!!)

Dialga peered through the hole it made at the two Pokemon, as did I. What we gathered immediately was that Snorlax was angry that he was poisoned. Boo didn't care, and immediately floated around and out of reach of the big fat Pokemon, releasing hexes upon its form. The Hexes stayed, Disabling Snorlax from any more Shadowballs.

Snorlax didn't care, as he sent a Psychic of his own at Boo, pushing the ghost up and almost having it hit Dialga. Boo freaked, this danged fat animal was making life hell. His Disable was still in place, that beast wasn't flinging any Shadows anytime soon.

Snorlax seemed peeved he couldn't remember that one thing, but maybe it was a fond food memory. Turning back to Boo, his chubby arms began to wave, forming an icy chill in the air around it. Boo wasted no time in releasing a smaller Thunderbolt upon that one injured foot of the Lax, making Snorlax tuck it under his belleh!

Firing back, Snorlax made sure to hit Boo backwards and upward, out of the hole. Dialga however, has seen enough, and moved back to the dias....o crap, there goes that weird light again..

Snorlax finally stood up, albeit wobbly, and fell on his stomach. The strange thing was, by doing that, Snorlax bounced. He kept doing it, until his body began to sweat, and his altitude began to rise. Boo watched with confusion as Snorlax finally gained enough altitude to lean his body weight over in mid-air, and re-emerge atop the higher platform, right before the light flashed and the stage was fixed!

The second Snorlax stopped bouncing, Boo was already on him, flinging that mystical Power he had kept Hidden from Snorlax all round. The giant Pokemon lurched back and fell back into a seated position, shrugging off the hit. Didn't hurt too bad. Felt like a Rock hit him a few times.

Hell, after all that exercise, he felt Refreshed. Prolly sweated out the Poison too.

Round 82

Watching from his regal stance, Dialga was witness to a truly bizarre fight. Snorlax, over to the right, had just got comfortable again, and fidgeted, releasing a Psychic wave to rival that of some of the best Psychic Pokemon around. Boo however, took the immensity of the pain, and floated through it. When the Psychic wave subsided, Boo flew over Snoralx and began to hum.

A serenade so soothing, that Snorlax was utterly Hypnotized by the wavelengths.

Hurting, but not out yet, Boo made it his business to now reclaim that what he had once lost. Snorlax snored loudly, but it was unable to do much else, even after its cherry picking dream was eaten.

Man, he keeps snoring, and Boo might be back at full health!

Boo had been lucky this whole match, getting glancing shots from all those Ice Beams, and now putting Snorlax to sleep. He could finally earn a breather....Oh, could he? Snorlax was up with a jump, and wobbled over toward Boo, whom immediately floated upwards to hopefully evade the oncoming. But everything was slower now, and Boo couldn't figure out why...

Dialga grinned, knowing it was his power that was slowing the Pokemon down, just to see how'd they react..

This time, it was his undoing, as Snorlax fired a Ice Beam straight up, nailing Boo directly under his body. Unlike the last Ice Beams, he was able to spin off of them to decrease the damage. No such luck this time Boo.

Dialga quit the time warp, and his eyes glinted...

Boo: -15H Grrr ==///== Snorlax: -5E

Uncool that the fat beast got a direct hit finally, Boo wafted to the left, trying to make space between him and Snorlax. Snorlax let that happen, as he seemed unphased at all. In fact, he seemed to be moving even slower than before...that can't be good.

Boo watched as the immense beast lunged for him, all in incredible slow-motion. Boo continued to waft upward, but suddenly (Owtf see this random business is bananas..) received a helping hand. Snorlax's bulky Body Slammed into something big and hard. Sliding down the pillar like form, Snorlax looked up to see Dialga literally blocking his pathway through the air. Hitting the ground, Snorlax rolled back, as Dialga roared, an Aura surging up around him.

Boo: Ha take that snitch! ==///== Snorlax: -5E

Having a free moment to breathe, Boo instantly reversed the health direction of his competitor. Feeling the luscious goodness roll through his body (oh and now it rolls a 1. Wtf >>), Boo would have an easier time with the Snorlax of doom.

Well, yeah maybe. Snorlax rolled over in his sleep, his rear pointing at Boo. That already was unpleasant. but when the Snorlax performed a flip, and landed back on his rump, both Pokemon seemed confused. It looked like Snorlax just had a case of Amnesia.

My apologies. Not contesting your guys complaints, but at the same time, I didn't choose the attacks. I used a random calculatory device to just pick a number between the number of moves Snorlax has, independent on their order, and that's what came up. Even this time, I used the same devices, and I got Crunch, Rock Slide, Rock Climb, and Thunderbolt before I got Body Slam.

I dunno, I think this thing is borked. Sorry for pissing ya both off, won't happen again. Shall we continue?

Was really surprised when i got that Ice Beam and even more-so with Crunch. Im not accusing of anything funny going on but it did seem odd i managed to do more damage in this round (while asleep) than Snorlax has managed to do yet.

If it was really all just random then Blade needs his picture in the dictionary under 'Unlucky'

It wasnt a complaint as such, well not from me, i just realised that getting nuked while Lax is asleep probably wasnt much fun for Blade so in my opinion a re-reffing was called for. It wasnt your fault but its better for the battle this way.

Round 84

Boo had had enough of this fat lucky bastard ruining his survivability in this match. Dialga wasn't helping either, changing time and stuff. So, with a heavy hart, Boo decided to just..end it all, and take the fat Pokemon with him. Risking his life for the pursuit of his master, Boo grabbed Snorlax by his feet, and began to puff his body up. Snorlax, still asleep, let himself start to be lifted, but as we all know, Snorlaxes are fat summabishes. (o are you serious XD!!!)

Boo, realizing his Destiny was tied to Snorlax now, ensured that nothing would help this Pokemon survive. Even when Snorlax began to beat on his Belly. Boo took the rhythmic Drumming to be a doldrum for his life. Reaching his expanse as a ghost balloon, and only being able to hoist a damn Snorlax about 24 inches off the ground, Boo released all of his energy in a Atomic Explosion-eradicating visibility of the Spear Pillar for minutes.




As the ash settled, and the Spear Pillar started to fade into view, all that seemed to be left was Dialga, highly irritated that the fat Pokemon exploded all over his crib! No seriously, where the hell is Snorlax and Boo?

*Jumps out of his skybox and grabs a hoverboard, surfing down to the Pillar. With a Pokeball in his hand, and a shisk-kebab in the other, DL quietly scans the surrounding for the two missing Pokemon. A bleeping on his belt forces Dl to grab a cellphone and flick it open with a snap of his wrist. Wandering to the edge of the stage, DL peers over, and stares in dumfoundment.

Hanging off the now exasperated body of Boo, was Snorlax, somehow entangled in each other.*

Well, they're down there. Both out too. Oh well. New Stage time!!!

*Running back to his hovercraft, DL jumps on and commands the board to rise. As it does, that magic button is hit, and the next stage starts to appear.*

*The dusted Pokeball rebounds back to Blademaster, whom shakes his head with resolve. The predicament he's in seems dire, but his trusted Pokemon has seen him through countless time.

Backflipping twice, before sprinting forward and preforming a swift series of jackknife kicks-flames sprouting from his wrists and ankles, was Rawk Hawk-the Blaziken.

Unafraid of the events that will transpire, UC also called upon the Pokemon that has earned his respect the most throughout the years he has battled. Ironically enough, pillars of flame fly toward the sky, as a Charizard materialized. His wings beat majestically as he stood upon the cool exterior of the Lylat Cruiser.

As it stood, this stage did not commemorate this moments epic's standing. They needed room to move, and yet they needed risks. But the fans cheered loud and clear for them to witness a true battle between these two.

Who was I to argue with entertainment. Scrolling through the stages that were left, I found the perfect one for them to battle on. Nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide.

The Lylat cruise was forgone for the Bridge of Eldin. It just seemed right. The sun fading behind the mountains allowing the sky to flare as much as the flames these two would undoubtedly throw upon each other. The serene calls to battle that softly wafted in the air..yes, this was where they would fight.*

The ever expansive Bridge of Eldin. I need no state anymore than that for you all, the viewers of this epic match, to know what this means! We are nearing the final numbers of competitors for both Trainers...no, Masters in their own right. Let no none tell you otherwise, as you saw it here first!

Rawk Hawk looks ready to battle, and flares his wrists in defiance to the original Kanto Starter. Unphazed by the appearance and mockery of the Hoenn starter, Charizard bellows, releasing flames from his mouth that swirled backwards and around his body, showing his impressive control over the fiery element.

Taking it one step farther, Charizard jumps back from his own fire, wings opening to allow him the ability to glide. Gracefulness accompanies the orange beast, as he twirls and evades even the smallest embers of his flames, Dancing around them with the grace and elegance of a Dragon.

Rawk scoffs, and takes a running start, before jumping up to an astronomical height. Landing only feet from the Dancing Charizard, Rawk Hawk backflips backwards, each time slamming the ground harder on the handspring portion. By the time he finished flipping backwards to his starting position, he was Bulked up and ready to rock.

Both Pokemon stood their ground at the end of their respective moves. Charizard's wings hung precariously, unmoving even in the slight breeze that blew by. When the bugle for battle sounded, both Pokemon took a running start, before diving at each other.

Each Pokemon encased itself in a crimson aura. Nether one was worried about burning the other, after all, they were each the top tier fire type for their region-if they couldn't take the heat, they'd be nothing but frauds.

The distance between them on this stage closed rapidly, and upon collision, it felt like a nuclear explosion occurred, with the expanse of heat and light that was released. I can't even see what the hell just happened.

*Had DL been able to see, he would have been astounded. Both Rawk Hawk and Charizard stood their ground, each bracing against the other in a mercy death grip. No side was gaining nor giving any quarter. Charizard roared directly in Rawk's face, Rawk replying back with a ear-splitting screech of his own. As both Pokemon felt the drain on their bodies from trying to directly fight the other, Charizard swung his tail at Rawk Hawk, disengaging the mercy hold.

Rawk flipped backwards, landing on his left leg, right leg extending to stop any incoming attacks. Charizard merely barrel rolled backwards, flapping once to land as the light faded, revealing their separated stances to DL and everyone else once more. Rawk knew Charizard was capable because even though his Defense was heightened, the Speed Charizard used was more than enough to compensate. Vice Versa, Charizard felt the attack power Rawk had in his fists, and knew his speed would be the only advantage he would have.*

O.O!! They're NOT EVEN PHAZED1!!1!! O HELL YES WE'RE IN FOR ONE HELL OF A FIGHT!

Both Pokemon seemed to nod to the other-they knew the other wouldn't bow out on the other at the last possible second. This was ...for glory!

Round 86

With both fire Pokemon standing a the edge of attack, one can only hope they don't somehow destroy the bridge. A wingbeat became the telltale whistle, and Charizard was up, soaring over toward Blaziken. Craning his reptilian neck out, Charizard seemed as if he was hovering around a dead target that didn't even know it.

Rawk didn't appreciate the scare tactic, and took matters into his own hands, bouncing backwards, as Charizard zoomed in for the Aerial manuvear. Backflipping as Charizard released a series of arm swipes and wing slashes, Blaziken's Agility raised sharply. The final attempt came with a tail slash that struck Rawk's back as he stopped his dodging combo. Peved the dragon got a hit in, Rawk grabbed both wings of the b east and used them to hoist himself into the air.

His flight path threw him directly into the path of the Sun, allowing his silhouette to shower the field over Charizard.

Rawk Hawk: -4E/-7H +2 Spd ==///== Charizard: -3E

Charizard knew his speed advantage was down, but that did not stop him from flying up. This Fire-starter was no flier, and he was ready to put an end to that. Bellowing as Rawk Hawk was reaching the apex of his leap, Charizard flew up and under where Rawk would land and kept his wings pointing diagonally. The fklight path allowed Charizard to shoot right past Rawk Hawk- and Slash him with his wings...

well that was the plan, anyway. Rawk Hawk saw the incoming attack, and again, proved his Agility was better than Charizards. He performed a vertical split; the left wing barely missing his groin as the Fireflier scorched by. Landing on the his right leg, Rawk brung his left leg down in an Axe kick. He stared back up at the opponent whom was circling back.

Rawk Hawk: -3E +2 Spd ==///== Charizard: -6E

Was this actually going to be a fight? Charizard roared at his competition and soared after him again. This time however, his banking flight was low. Arms slammed into the ground as he picked up speed, causing the bridge to be ripped asunder. The almighty stone used to build this bridge all now flew with Charizard's Draconic Rush, as he flipped them edge over edge. Rawk saw the difficulty in this maneuver, and spotted his attacking point.

As Charizard flew directly at him, his stone carriage still building around him, Rawk immediately kicked the first stone away and stepped in. He realized that Rawk used the very Stone he had tore up in his flight to aid him in that Edgy manuvear

Rawk kipped up and kept his back toward Charizard for the moment. Charizard bellowed- finding that more disrespectful than anything. Rawk was looking at his feet though. Kicking a Rushing Charizard wasn't the bestthing to do...

Two deep grooves now lived on the bridge, sharp stone lying everywhere.

Start with an Earthquake. Then charge it and and catch it with Dragon Rush and take it up for an Anime staple. Siesmic Toss!. If you cant get hold of it just use Aerial Ace.

Once you're in the air, try steering yourself towards Charizard and hitting him with Stone Edge, and end the round by Countering his Seismic Toss so HE slams into the ground instead of you.

Gingerly awaiting Charizard next move, the now super fleet footed Rawk Hawk throws a few test kicks. Charizard smirks, and flaps a bit closer. Rawk takes a hop back, making sure to land on his claws, as the soles of his feet still sting from that Dragon Rush.

Happy with his positioning, Charizard stretches his wingspan out fully and roars at Blaziken in a most menacing stance. Rawk doesn't seem too impressed, until Charizard strikes the ground with a heavy handed fist. Instantly, Rawk knows what that means, and he moves damned fast. Streaking as an crimson blur against the auburn sky, Rawk takes his chances against the following smashes to the bridge's stability, and lunges across to Charizard. Fist balled up, he reached Charizard, and attained a fiery flare around his body. As Charizard's last punch created the last shock of Earthquake's magnificent power, Rawk Uppercutted Charizard's lowered head. Both competitors rose into the Sky as the Bridge shuddered and shook, and an enormous gap was left in their wake.

Reeling from the blow, Charizard's open wings allowed him to bank on the one lofty current that blew by. Rawk wasn't fortunate enough to have functional wings anymore, but he didn't need them. His skills as a fighter allowed him to jump off pure air it would seem. Flipping toward Charizard now, Rawk was in the classic Bruce Lee flying kick pose.

Charizard saw his opening, and took the bait, flying directly between Rawk's outstretched hand and foot with a super speed Dragon Rush. Reptilian hands grabbed his extended leg at the knee and forced him up higher into the sky. Rawk was draped over his shoulder currently, and he gained an idea.

Rawk pushed against Charizard's forced flight, his free elbow jabbing into Charizard's back where his left wing connected to his back- as deep as he could, now that he was on par with the flying beast. But Charizard took the agonizing pain with a groan, and kept going higher.

The bridge...was still not whole. This does not look good.

Pain and weakened by a direct Stone Edge hit, Charizard flew as high as the air would allow. Blaziken screeched in disapproval, and reached to find a way to create an arm lock on Charizard's body, but the reptile was too smart for that. He performed a figure 8 in the air, disorienting Rawk as to which way he was moving, before flying in concentric revolutions. The would began to lose stability for Hawk as he was twirled and twirled.

Suddenly, everything paused for a moment for Rawk. The sky stopped, even Charizard stopped. He realized this..was a Suicide manuvear! Eyes opened in fear, as his brain reverted to reality, and now felt the blasting wind on his back and head. Charizard had him by the leg and was going to slam him head first into the ground. Rawk struggled as they both headed toward the gap...that was starting to rebuild itself?

Flying faster and faster toward the ground, Charizard just closed his eyes and held on as tight as he could, knowing his Seismic Tosses never fail. Suddenly, an auburn glow made him open his eye, too see a clawed hand grab his jaw and pull it in a way so it would be over the top of Rawk's head. Or in this case..under! The duo of fire fighters slammed into the newly constructed bridge, but Charizard...didn't fly out of the attack. A small dust cloud emerged, and a noticeable crater was left.

Both Hawk and Charizard lied there-both visibly hurt. Rawk rolled backwards, and stood up, rubbing his gauzed hands.

Charizard...didn't stand up. He flew up. Pissed off too, as his crest bones were broken. He got Countered, conniving biotch!

Made it so that Sky Uppercut acted like Falcon Punch. Ya know, glides above the ground, and then ends in an uppercut. Negates damage done on Rawk on first action.

Oh great, nice to find out your opponent has a move capable of taking off 40+ health a turn (which is now the only move he's gonna use) while a Seismic toss from as high as possible, with an attack boost (countered or not) does 7, which is the same as Aerial Ace did which is 2x effective (the difference between 2x and 4x attacks is 33 damage?). Oh and didnt he run through that Earthquake to uppercut Charizard?

Fine, use Protect combined with Scary Face to drop its Speed then Double Team to dodge.

o.o I see your anger at this juncture. I also see your reasoning.

Ok, let's rework this.

#1) Aerial Ace is 2x effective, and Char gets Stab. Blaziken has +1 Defense, yet Char has +1 Attack, so that cancels out.

But AA does light damage.

So we have....2x2+2(Stab)=6. Yes I know what that reads. It says 6. I upped it for damage control, since 6 is pathetic, even for me.

#2) Seismic Toss....Aww SHIT! can and does a bit more damage. I fucked up. That's how much its supposed to hit Charizard for since he gets .5 from Fgt attacks. Blaziken was supposed to get around 16/17 damage from it, and Char was gonna get 7/8. Thanks for catching that UC. 6 am postings are rough x_x


#3) The type of 2X and 4X attack matters alot UC.

Hypothetically... If Rawk used Rollout first, the first hit would have hit around 8-9, despite the fact that its a 4x effective attack. Just like if you had Charizard used an attack like Mud-Slap. It woulda hit for like 8-10. Now Earthquake, Defense or not, would hit for like 21-since that's an extremely powerful attack on a Blaziken.

And that's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna have Blaziken take damage for Earthquake (which he should have since he did run through the quaking punches.). Not full damage since he evaded the quake's full potential by Sky Uppercutting Char-but he's still gonna take a hit, Blade.

Do the changes work?

And also, you two can change your attacks if need be, as since Rawk now took a few more damage points (I dunno htf I flubbed up that Seismic Toss), you may wanna switch things up Blade.

The only point i will raise is that Blades instructions was to use Sky uppercut to evade, and so Blaziken wouldnt have run through it. Now whether that leaves him in range to strike Charizard or to simply use it as an evade, thats for u to decide however i will say this. I know your trying to Ref it fairly and make it exciting in the process but while the Anime version of sky uppercut involves running to deliver etc you also have to listen to the trainers orders on how they want the attack used.

Am I changing my attacks now? I did only want that Uppercut to dodge; if it doing damage would cause the Earthquake to connect, then I'm fine with Charizard not taking the hit.

And I dunno if that's been editted already yet. So if it has been, just tell me that the coast is clear and that I can try this again.
