Top 100 best animes of recent time [Poll]

An online poll was conduct in a Japanese anime site, where the frequent users of the site were asked to vote their top 100 best animes of recent times starting from 02 August 2008 to 30 September 2008, a 60 days period. After some weeks of grueling compilation and tallying of some 837, 424 votes, here are their results!

The results are by far a bit too disappointing. Some animes disappointingly which most of the local fans here that deemed too retard to watch made it to the top 50 list! And also from the top five position onwards, a trend is noticed. With animes like 'Ef~ A tale of memories', 'Kannon' and 'Air' dominating the anime popularity list, we can expect more anime types that are more creative and artistic to follow the success of these animes.

A few of our fellow members would be going home some upset and some happy about the results.

Roy Karrde for once would be sad that Full Moon wo Sagashite has disappointingly not even quality for the top fifty. For other members...

Pokemon continues to rate in the top 10 anime series in Japan

Yes, an unexpected result! Pokemon is ranked eighth. 0.o;

I told in my Japanese class that my favorite animes are Pokemon, Sailor Moon and Digimon...

Congratulations Mikachu, all of your favourite animes made it to the top 50 list. Sailormoon at 49th, Digimon at 35th and Pokemon at 8th.
