Linkie One: That's what he looked like in T-chan's unspellable RPG XD The lineart is all wibbily... I need to stop drawing stupidly large chibi-like heads on normal bodies XD
Linkie Two: This is him as he was in LON, and will also be in CotR. I really want his coat... This took ages and looked better on my old monitor...

Personal Comments: I enjoyed doing this, and it was a good stress relief for my current... um... predicament in College right now. Lots of tests, exams, papers due within 6 days of each other. Talk about pressure. There are a few things off about it, and I'm not quite done with the picture (like a lot of my work ^^U) So far I like how it looks and I have a plan for how to improve it as well as for the final piece. First things first... my OTHER commissions...

Personal Comments: The first picture is from two years ago, when my anatomical knowledge was less-than-existent and my style was mostly influenced by Kazuki Takahashi.
The second picture is from a few days ago; as you can see, the anatomy has improved some, mostly due to the fact that my style has changed to reflect the work of Akira Toriyama more than Takahashi. I'm aware that the proportions are still flawed (The arms are too big and the legs too small.), and I am displeased with how chubby his face looks, but otherwise, I think I've improved a lot. Still got a ways to go, though...
Other: Critique is encouraged, but any other comments acknowledging this crap are welcome as well. Flames will be used to toast marshmallows and tiny hot dogs.

Personal Comments: Much of this includes a character I plan on introducing at some point in the RPG. We see Demon (in the right side) with a little girl in his arms and looking, well, pissed (And a little bit.... "furrier", explanation will come later). The humanoid thing with spikes is the new character I want to introduce. His name's Quintax, and he's fun to RP. >XD.

Other than that, give me some thoughts on Demon and/or Quintax.

Sorry to say (and I'm not saying this to agree with anyone), but this topic was made for people to post their character and RPG-related artwork... You shouldn't be expecting professional critiquing (or any at all) from a simple thread like this. It was originally made for pure entertainment. And when you put something like "Critique at your leisure" or anything similar, that typically means "I'd love to see people's opinion, but if no one replies, no biggie." If you want that kind of attention for specifics on your artwork, take it to the FanArt forum... Or post it on an art website like DA, now here, where people are coming to basically ogle their favorite characters.

Anyway... BECKI!!! OMG SMEXY CAINE! Sheep is such an awesome artist! That's why I asked her to do costume design for me! ^_^

Yes, Fai said exactly what I was going to say. This topic is not for people to have hard-nosed discussions or even replies to your work. It's just to show off fandom that RPers have done in relation to the RPGs here. I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE if you really want critique, to go to the Fan Art forum. Which is not a shameless plug at all, oh no.
Oh, and the reason that the "Teen Fangirls" might have replied was because they perhaps are interested in the art from RPGs they, themselves, are in.

I will reply to everyone's artwork when I have time to gander at them all. I'll simply edit this post if there are no further replies.

As for your other picture and Blade's, I appologize but I can't properly comment on them as China has now blocked deviantart from me. (The past week or two Devi has refused to load, so I assume it is because China has blocked it.)

Personal Comments: Again, obviously this was a rough doodle. I was experimenting with the 'watercolor" tool in Corel. Drew this in about ten minutes before Ninny had to run off to swimming! :3 (Ninny = Dr.McNinja) I blurred his hair because the watercolor tool tends to leave super harsh edges and I was waaay too lazy to blur the lines well. xD I drew him because I think he's one of Nin's best crafted characters, although it is notable that Aelfrik was a pre-cotr character (he had been designed from Vampire: The Masquerade campaign previously. Marius was from a DnD campaign and Nin just merged the two for CotR.)

I know how hard it is to get critique and I also know how bad dA is for getting critique, I've been on the site for 5 years! This has 65 comments of "Aww cute!" and gets atleast one fave a day... They took about half an hour to draw each, yet stuff that's taken me several hours gets no attention. Go figure...

Yes!! I am very lucky! X3 I keep trying to get her to sign up here, but haven't succeeded... I know she'd love it... *must try harder!*

Reference: Sign-up. The School was drawn from memory of what I remember Japanese schools to look like (talked it over with cc18 for clarification). A quick search for the correct uniform, and some quick lessons on drawing trees and viola!
Personal Comments: Eh, I don't have much persay. However the image did turn out fairly close to how I wanted, so I'm not complaining much. Pencil in notebook, no shading. Comments welcome besides the usual "Oh it's so cool," "I like it" and all that jazz

Anyway, I looked at it the other day and didn't comment because I did literally think "Ohh, I like that". But I looked again for you and found what I like about it

I like the composition and the perspective, it just really works for me. I'm not one that's good with either, so yeah! Also like his glasses, I dunno why, they just made me chuckle.

Reference: Sign-up. Much of this was drawn without any of my references and is from memory. The sword needed a re-design anyway, and Theo's features haven't changed much.
Personal Comments: I am moderately impressed with this. I haven't done much with Theo since I stopped the Dragonoid Fic I had a while back (which only a few commented on Dragonoid). I've played him in some Table Top RPGs and managed to find a class that fits the abilities from 3.5. I've re-made him in 4th Edition into an effective Two-weapon fighting Ranger Dragonblooded with Bastard Swords (but for flavor it's still the twin-bladed sword). Just like with the previous, anything that jumps out at you that you really like?

RE: MM. The first one... eh, I don't like the glasses. They just make his eyes look really close together o.O it's sort of confusing.

As for the second one... why is his right hand so big?! The one with the fireball... it looks out of proportion.

Denny, the first picture's eyes look fine to me, but dude's right knee looks like the femur just above the kneecap was broken, and possibly the top of his calf was bitten off by a shark. The crease in his jeans makes it look way thin.

The second picture I agree with Weas with. Mickey Mouse hand. Otherwise, it's OK. Except for that weapon of his... I understand that the Square-Enix generation has made giant melee weapons pretty much a must for any fantasy character, but if he tries to swing a double-bladed weapon with blades of that weight, using such an awkward and unstable grip, all he's gonna do is break his wrist. <<'

I like to think that the pod hitting Earth is Asilynne's character, Piccolo is Rothax, the strange figure in the desert is Shimuto, Zaito is the guy who picks up the Dragonball. Draw from it what you will.

Description of Picture/Name of Character: The character is named Adalia, its one of my favorite characters and more well known characters

Reference: Done by Yi nearly 2 and a half years ago
Personal Comments: My god this model took so long. In reality it was a on again off again project, back in 2007 I requested Yi to make a front and side view of Adalia, I made the character except for the hands and head. In summer 2008 I decided to use the character for a school project so I finished the head but left the hair unfinished as well as the lips. Finally last month I decided to finish the character I used hands I already had and a staff I made for her, added in better lips, a chin, finished her hair, textured and posed her. I can nit pick about the hair but I have never done hair before and in the end I am quite proud of it.

I do want to give Props to Yi for the picture, with out it I could never have made a proper model.
