Frankly, I'm annoyed. Now there are only really two days of the year I look forward to: my birthday and Christmas. No one ever celebrates any of our other 'national holidays', such as St George's Day, May Day, The Queen's Birthday or even really Easter anymore. A day for people to actually be proud of our country and celebrate it would be only a good thing. I can only assume it was shelved in favour of not offending any of the millions of illegal immigrants who are now rooted into our society.
