    Hochuli makes another questionable call

    Dude's on a roll.

Regarding the absurd Jets-Cardinals game... when you score 34 points in a quarter, you've got to be feeling pretty good. The truly amazing thing was that the 56-35 shootout was scoreless through 15 minutes.

Jets score a bazillion in the 2nd quarter, then Cards score a bazillion in the third quarter to make it look like they're coming back... Yeah.

Oh, Dallas... But hey, it's a big rivalry game, no real shame in what could've been won if Hurd held onto the onside kick even still. The Eagles are the real shame of the BEast, losing the first non-divisional game and going down to a .500 record.

Al Davis gives Kiffin the flick.
Because that will really help the futile Raiders rebuild, won't it? Al 'the zombie' Davis jettisons the one guy who's given the Raiders a little bit of competitive fuel over the last five or so years, and they look elsewhere for a head coach. Just business as usual for one of the most woeful franchises in football.

And hey hey, how many of y'all expected me to be laughing loudest at this point in the season when my Titans are 4-0? I'd check how you're feeling, but I can't see you from all the way up here.

I'm watching the SD/NE game right now, and I have just one thing to say:

Cassel is pathetic. I mean, this is downright painful to watch. And I hate the Pats... that how ridiculously bad it is.

(Maybe if Cassel puts on his rally cap....)

    ...

Was this just an excuse to post pictures of the Patriots' best fail moments?

    Maybe.

As annoyingly embarrassing the fashion in which my beloved Cowboys lost, I can take solace in the fact they're not even close to the biggest LOL of the week. Not with how the Bears got LOLed, Dan Orlovsky just plain running out of his own endzone, the Redskins losing to the Rams... Crazy week.

Now watch the Giants lose tonight too, or something.

I love the Cardinals. Well not always, but when my boy Kurt Warner is at the helm, how can I not love them. Hoping that the Giants will get blown apart by the Browns while Donte' nabs four TDs not only to help my fantasy cause but to leave my Titans as the league leadin... ah hell, I can't even finish a sentence that ridiculous. Cleveland have three points now. I think that's about all they'll get the whole game.

Dallas Cowboys just acquired Roy Williams from the Lions. At the payment of a 1st, 3rd, and 6th round pick.

    Owens
    Crayton
    Williams
    Romo
    Witten

Just go on and give us the Super Bowl victory now.

Meanwhile, Pacman is suspended the next four games due to the altercation with his own bodyguard (more like snitch amirite) and likely to be resuspended indefinitely. Oh, Dallas...

Son of a... Ugh, Roy will finally flourish like a talent like his should; he's looked good in Detroit, that must mean he's something special. Would have liked to have seen him in Tennessee, but dem's da breaks. I wonder when capologists should start foreseeing Dallas' squad being dismantled? Knowing their luck, all that will happen conveniently if/when the league goes uncapped (also known as parity is shot to hell).

Most of their talent is locked up in long-term deals, though, which are easier to re-negotiate and generally take up less cap space than equivalent short-term contracts. At worst, they'll become the Colts.

Looks like our old friend Michael Vick's still trying to return to the NFL... he's banking on getting his sentence reduced to 18 months with good behavior. This guilty plea might facilitate that.

Yeahhhhh it would be insanely stupid for them to put Michael Vick back in, I mean has the NFL President or what ever the guy is seen what PETA does to KFC? Now imagine that outside of your stadium at every game Vick plays in for the next few years. Not the best PR image I would think of.

Well another 'International series' game has come and gone and now theres talk of more than one game a season and perhaps even a chance for every team to play 1 game outside the US every year.

Also hints that an NFL team could be set up operating out of London in the future rather than just trying to start another Euro League that doesnt get as much attention as it should etc.

    Any thoughts?

Some teams have been fighting to either make everyone play one Euro game or abolish the system altogether. With just a couple of teams having to play a game on another continent, there are concerns about fairness (travel time++). So yeah, I could see an expansion in which every team has to play a game there.

However, I doubt there will actually be a European NFL team for a very long time, if ever. Nobody wants that amount of traveling, including the players who'd have to be on that team.

Not nessecarily. I was looking at some of the travel times for teams and tbh going from North East US to South West US is a fair flight already yet that doesnt seem to be a problem?

Yeah i noticed that. Theyre more concerned theyre penalizing the celebrations than making sure theyre getting the game decisions right.

I mean come on, in the London game the first one was immitating a soccer celebration (Sliding on the knees) that you see at pretty much every Soccer game in the country and the second one was bad enough to penalise the guy but then to let it stand when it came out he'd celebrated too early and didnt get the intercept was just a kick in the teeth lol.

    *EDIT*
On a side note id like to say i was impressed with the Saints not panicking without Bush. The fact that Brees made use of 5/6 receivers on a regular basis was a good sign of the teams versatility. Might be worth picking up some outside Saints receivers for the fantasy league.
Hell, he even tried to throw a pass to a photographer at the end. Would have been a completetion if he had been paying more attention lol.

Not before Toronto does, that's for damn sure. I'm really fond of the 32 team structure that the league's got going at the moment - if you wanted to add expansions it'd be a shame to mix up the divisions or make them uneven, and adding another eight teams to make the numbers even? Not likely to happen too soon. Anyhow...

The Giants are still dominating. Take that one game against the Browns away and the Giants are head and shoulders better then any team in the league.

Regardless of who you think is the best team, the Giants are. They have had a much tougher schedule... Who have the Titans played that are legitimate winning teams? The Titans have played two teams with winning records so far- The Colts and the Ravens. The Titans also play in arguably the worst division (next to the NFC/AFC west)

The Giants, meanwhile, play in the only division that every team has a winning record- and has beaten every team. They have beaten the Redskins, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Baltimore, and Philidelphia. Flip flop their schedules and The Giants are easily the ones who are undefeated, and not the Titans.

And to set the record straight, The Cowgirls blow.

10-0 is the only record that matters, kids. Don't care what any of y'all say - you play the schedule you're given. Until someone has toppled us, I'll remain completely stubborn and claim that we're the best. I don't necessarily believe it, but it's been a long time since I've been able to talk big like this.

    NFL RANKINGS
    #1 Tennessee Titans 10-0
    #2 New York Giants 9-1
There are lies, damned lies, and statistics. But they sure as hell look good in print, don't they?

One hour of sleep and now I'm back up and LOVING this Titans game! Nothing like a 4:30 wakeup to get the blood rushing like a smooth Chris Johnson dash!! YEAH!!

...I've been drinking a lot of Coke. Wondering if we'll see Vince Young appear in this game - they should certainly be able to get enough points to rest their starters.

Haha, i'm not really interested in watching any games except for Arizona-Philly tonight... none of them are good games. I like to watch Arizona play though, because the spread offense they run is just so dynamic. If they had a better Defense and running game they would be completely unstoppable.

On an somewhat related note, teams need to figure out how to stop Chris Johnson. The Jets did that last week, and look what happened..
