Selene
Short post, my apologies..

“Sorry my liege.” He then bowed and took off running, Selene considered for the briefest of moments of shooting the man, but she decided against that. That would be a waste of precious ammo and such things shouldn’t happen at a moment like this.

There were two, and that posed quite the problem. One enough seemed to keep most busy while the other, slightly hindered by random attacks from a larger group of people Selene recalled seeing; it was having a good ol’ time shooting blizzards and other ice-elemented things at people.
And then it turned its attention to Shay.

Note, Selene didn’t like Shay, but she didn’t hate the Spiran either. In fact other than a slightly too upbeat attitude, and the fact she was from the rival continent, Selene had absolutely no problems with her.
This was probably the reason she was charging for Shay only making it in time to slide between the girl and the monster. The headless wonder groaned, about to swing its sword and finish either of them off, Selene fired. The first shoot seemed to do little, the monster only seemed to respond with an angry gurgle, and however, Selene had learned a valuable lesson from a family friend once.
If one shot doesn’t work, try many.
So she did, Shay was recovering from slipping on the ice as Selene went trigger happy, all the shots aiming for the large black plate on its upper chest. The monster roared in fury, forced back at the suddenly fray of bullets.

“Are you alright?” Selene asked; having to stop and reload, she did so while on the move, closely followed by her friend.
“I’m… Yeah! I’m fine!”
“Good.” The gunwoman replied, “Now help me kill it.”
Shay nodded, and holding tightly onto Selene’s arm, as she seemed to have bad balance, whipped the shuriken forward.

It hit, slicing open the Anchag’s back so make it howl, as the weapon came back round to it’s master, Selene opened fired again. Only the monster kept coming, it knocked Shay clean away from the gunner and body-checked Selene roughly into the ground. She slid across the snow and ice for about five feet before coming to a stop.
Selene looked up in horror as the monster came at her, sword ready to cleave her in two…

Until a fire spell flew over her and slammed the monster back, long enough for her to stand and retreat back to her rescuer.
“Thank you…” Selene huffed, as she regained composure.
