Iloista joulua darktyranitar!
In the title, "Iloista joulua" is Finnish for "Merry Christmas".
In his magical sleigh led by his trusty flying Stantlers, Santa Claus was crossing the border of two peaceful kingdoms. He had just finished delivering presents for the people in the kingdom of Koillinen, and the kingdom of Kaakko was next on the list.
Santa Claus's assistants, tontut (plural for the Finnish word 'tonttu'), were doing a last-minute present inventory in the sleigh. Tonttu named Mikachu still wasn't sure if one present worked. It was a beautiful Pokemon-themed Christmas decoration with electric candles. He unwrapped the present and called out a Pikachu from a Pokeball to test it, as he was a Pikachu trainer, that was why he was nicknamed Mikachu.
"Pikachu, lend me some electricity." Mikachu asked. He was delighted to notice the lights worked. Mikachu wrapped the present back, but somehow his touch slipped and he dropped the package. "Oh no, that was the present for darktyranitar!" moaned Mikachu. He walked to Santa.
"I'm sorry I dropped one present." said Mikachu. "Don't worry." Santa Claus replied. "I'm sure you can find it. In fact, I was going to call it a day for you anyway. Your last task today will be to take the present to darktyranitar. Take this Pidgeot."
Mikachu flew with the Pidgeot to the ground and right there, he saw a man with Tyranitar. "Merry Christmas!" the man with Tyranitar said. "Merry Christmas! Hey but, are you darktyranitar, by any chance?" asked Mikachu.
"Yes, I am. I'm training my Tyranitar here. And you?" darktyranitar responded. "I'm Mikachu, Santa Claus's tonttu." Mikachu said. "I'm really sorry but I have lost your present."
"Oh, is it this one?" darktyranitar took a package from his backpack. "It even says my name. I just found it lying on the ground."
"It's there!" rejoiced Mikachu. "I hope it's not broken. Could you unwrap it?" darktyranitar unwrapped the gift, and they tested the decoration with Mikachu's Pikachu. It still worked, the package was well-made.
"Thank you very much." said darktyranitar. The present was a model of a big Christmas tree and 50 different Pokemon dancing around it. "Would you like to come to my place for Christmas evening meal?" asked darktyranitar. "Thank you, sure." answered Mikachu.
I hope you liked the story, I don't know if the plot was good.

Re: Iloista joulua darktyranitar!
Yes, 'tonttu' is often translated as 'elf' or 'gnome'. Originally, tontut were mythical guardians of places, like saunatonttu guards sauna. Later, the name started to mean Santa Claus's assistants as well. The word is hard to translate because better translations for the words 'elf' and 'gnome' do exist. Fantasy literature here uses mostly 'haltia' or 'haltija' for elf and 'menninkäinen' for gnome.
Glad you liked it.
