    This is just so that I don't clog up Heald's Christmas Thread. If you don't know, I've been dating this wonderful girl since junior high. It's been almost five years and I just asked for her hand in marriage. One can only wonder what she said.

    I also have pictures, sillies.

    It's just a great feeling. Maybe not the whole tricking her into thinking it wasn't happening part, but the joy that I saw in her face. The way (her name's Emily, by the way) she said yes almost before I finished the question. The way God continues to bless a dork like me with an angel like her.

    So yeah. Thanks for all the well wishes. We're shooting for April 2010 if you were wondering.

    She knows I'm on a Pokémon forum, yes. She also knows that I'm addicted to video games and classical music, making me as large a nerd as I think she could find.

    Thanks again for all the congratulations and well wishes. She was pleasantly surprised to hear them from a couple of dozen of people all over the world whom she has never heard of.
