GENERAL QUESTIONS

1. Assuming that you remember your dreams, do they tend to be good dreams or nightmares?
It kind of depends on what's happening in my life. Typically my dreams are really random, although they sometimes incorporate a fear of mine - for instance, I've had many dreams where I'm standing on some kind of balance beam several thousand feet in the air. Even if it's over a body of water, it still terrifies me. If good things are happening in my life, my dreams are more positive. They were excellent for awhile starting a couple of summers ago, because things were awesome at the time. On the other hand, they were terrible the last four months or so - see question #4.


2. What was the last dream you had that you can remember?
I just woke up, actually, so this is easy. I had a dream where my teeth randomly started getting ridiculously loose and falling out at the slightest push from my tongue. I lost four at once from the upper right side of my mouth, and then a few from my bottom right. They just kind of kept coming out inexplicably until I had a good 50 teeth sitting on a green placemat in front of me (despite the fact that I only felt eight or so gaps in my mouth at any given moment - which, by the way, felt astonishingly real despite the fact that I haven't had such a sensation since my permanent teeth grew in about a decade ago). When I woke up I did a quick check with my tongue, just to be sure everything was still where it was supposed to be.


3. Do you remember any strange dreams from years ago? What were they?
Yeah... I had one dream where I was playing a baseball game from my Sega Game Gear (for no apparent reason, I was somehow playing it on the TV in a hotel room despite the nonexistence of any such adapter). I lost - something that never really happened on that game - and promptly got freaked out for no reason. The dream ended with me hiding under the bed, daring only an occasional peek at the TV screen which continued to show the final score.


4. Have you ever had any dreams that repeated themselves from night to night? If so, what were they?
Throughout last semester as well as winter break, I had recurring dreams where all the students in the classes I taught promptly attacked me. One in particular involved my first class on Monday. They would all pull out Uzis and try to surround me near the computer, but I outwitted them by leaping backwards out the second-story window. Of course, both my legs would always break from the awkward fall, but I was near enough trees and brush that they couldn't see me to shoot me and I could crawl away using my arms. Unfortunately, innocent bystanders would always get overly curious until my students would start picking off random bystanders from above while I could do nothing but watch...

Another related dream was one in which my body lay flat and acted rather like a boxer's heavy punching bag. My students went back and forth hitting me with baseball bats and other blunt instruments while I limply flopped in response to each strike. Did I mention that last semester was bad? Yeah.


5. Is there anything you can do that seems to make having a dream more likely?
Staying up late (but not super-late) tends to make it more likely, as far as I can tell. At least, I tend to remember more of my dreams when I do that.

6. Have you ever had any Pokemon-related dreams? If so, what were they?
Yes, I've had my share of Pokemon-related dreams. Most of them involved general journeying and battling, although a few of my early Pokemon dreams revolved around my shipping interests instead. No further comment.


7. If you had to guess (and now you do, ha ha!), what do you think the Pokemon characters dream about?
Thickheaded Ash probably dreams about nothing but battling... Brock's dreams would involve nothing but Jennies and Joys... and Misty likely ranges between Ash's dreams and Brock's (with the targets of her affection being boys, of course). I would imagine May dreams about contests as well as quarreling with Max, while her younger brother just focuses on Pokemon. Dawn... I'm not sure. Maybe her fears? She seems like the type to have nightmares and such.


8. Have you ever heard the song Dreams from the Pokemon 2000 soundtrack? If so, what do you think of it?
Actually, Dreams is my favorite song from any Pokemon soundtrack. It always seemed very uplifting and inspirational to me.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

1. Assuming that you remember your dreams, do they tend to be good dreams or nightmares?

I have a nice mix of good and bad dreams, but the most I have are crazy dreams, so I don't know how to "label" them.

2. What was the last dream you had that you can remember?

Well, to be exact, the last dream I've had was basically of a girl kissing me and my lips tasting like strawberry after I woke up. It inspired me to write this poem.

3. Do you remember any strange dreams from years ago? What were they?

Well, there was this weird nightmare about the moon crashing to the earth, and a group of people being "purified from their sins". The thing is that I've had to "defeat" another person in order to "win" my purification and go to "heaven", so I beat the crap out of this guy and killed him with link's sword attack (the jump attack), slicing him in two halves. But. after defeating him, nothing happened. I reamined alone on earth begging God to save me while the moon crashed into the earth. When I was about to be consumed by the explosion of the earth, I woke up.

4. Have you ever had any dreams that repeated themselves from night to night? If so, what were they?

See question #2 first:

I've had a dream similar to that 3 nights later, but this time, I dreamt that I walked through the hall of a university and a girl in a wheelchair passed me by. After this, I hear her talking to her sister (who was pushing the wheelchair, by the way), but didn't heard what exactly was. after taking a left in an intersection, the sister of the girl in the wheelchair stops me by putting her hand into my shoulder, after I turn around, she says that her sister told her that I was "the love of her life", and one month later (in the dream, of course), I am in a house, and the girl is kissing me, while thanking me for being "married" to her.

...guess my "heart" is desperate to find a soulmate...

5. Is there anything you can do that seems to make having a dream more likely?

Well, not really. I just sleep and it happens. The hours do not seem to make effect on me, because I even take some naps during the day (which usually last 1-2 hours) and have dreams. I've tried even to think of someone before sleeping, but whenever that person appears or not in my dream is random.

6. Have you ever had any Pokemon-related dreams? If so, what were they?

I've had a dream about having a Ho-oh as a pet, and about how he made a friendship with a Rayquaza. I do not remember any other.

7. If you had to guess (and now you do, ha ha!), what do you think the Pokemon characters dream about?

Well, Ash might dream about how he becomes a pokemon master; Misty about how she becomes a beauty water pokemon master, leaving her sisters "in the bottom of the sea"; and Brock...about having a fantasy with all the nurse joy and officer jenny in the pokemon world (CoUgHoRgYcOuGhCoUgH)... or who knows... maybe he stil remembers profesor Ivy...

Nope, but I'll be sure to hear it soon.

My dreams are usually good, but when I have nightmares they are usually about weird little Chucky like dolls with knives.

Most of my dreams are what people consider weird but sometimes, but most of the time my dreams are affected by what I have been watching lately and when I was little I had lots of pokemon dreams

When I was watching FMA I dreamt I could use alchemy, and while watching Stargate I dreamt about kicking ass on other worlds.

Yes, mainly about catching pokemon and thinking up new teams for battle frontier etc

I think that they all dream about being the best they can be, while Brock will probably be dreaming about girls he is never going to get.

It's been some time since we had a poll about dreams.

1. Assuming that you remember your dreams, do they tend to be good dreams or nightmares?
I almost never have nightmares these days because when I see a dream that other people would regard as a nightmare I just think, what an exciting dream. Like when I dreamt about a Japanese horror movie Ringu, I just thought what an excitng dream.

2. What was the last dream you had that you can remember?
I was visiting a new friend of mine on Monday. The night between Wednesday and Thursday I dreamt about this friend's cat. The cat slept in my bed, and then, for some odd reason, I had to take it outside and it was freezing cold. The cat died. One of saddest dreams ever, that was a nightmare, no?

3. Do you remember any strange dreams from years ago? What were they?
I had just read from the internet how you can control your dreams and I saw some nights later a dream where I could control it. It jhad Nighhtwish in background and I could fly with some geese. I think it was special because I usually wake up when I notice I'm dreaming but I didn't. Another cool dream was when I fought against a monster with my friends.

4. Have you ever had any dreams that repeated themselves from night to night? If so, what were they?
Not really. I often dream of new comics I'd draw but they are always different and sadly I never remember them precisely enough. Eventhough sometimes I feel like I had already seen this dream though but usually it's just during the same night. You see, I often dream that I wake up from a dream but don't. Strange, huh?

5. Is there anything you can do that seems to make having a dream more likely?
I have tried some techniques but they don't work.

6. Have you ever had any Pokemon-related dreams? If so, what were they?
Oh yes. I'm often a Pokemon trainer.

POKEMON! I run out of ideas, this was a cool poll I mean but replying made me tired. Why do my answers get shorter and shoter?

I tend to have good dreams. Pretty realistic dreams, usually positive.

2. What was the last dream you had that you can remember?

Last night I dreamed I was working. I... was just selling diamond matelasse quilts to rich people.

3. Do you remember any strange dreams from years ago? What were they?

The earliest crazy/strange dream I remember is when I was 8 and dreamed there was an elaborate tunnel system underground that was a giant slide. You could pop out using these quick highway exit thingies ANYWHERE there was a sewer/shower. I thought I was a genius.

4. Have you ever had any dreams that repeated themselves from night to night? If so, what were they?

My parents were abusive, so I dreamed about my mother chasing me with knives on a very routine basis. It got bad enough that I actually got taken from my home.

5. Is there anything you can do that seems to make having a dream more likely?

I dream every night.

I don't think so... I think I dreamed there was a Jigglypuff in the basement once, lol, but I usually dream about work, school, etc.

Most of my dreams are good. I hardly have nightmares. some of my dreams are complicated but not like terrifying.

2. What was the last dream you had that you can remember?
Last night I remember bits and pieces... nothing in total though... A few nights ago I dreamt that bible study was at my house at like midnight, and some girl I hate was there and wouldn't leave till I gave her a lift somewhere.

3. Do you remember any strange dreams from years ago? What were they?
I remember when I was a kid, I dreamt about a big bird that turned evil. I didn't play with my toy big bird for three years after that.

4. Have you ever had any dreams that repeated themselves from night to night? If so, what were they?
Only one. And it was some epic quest dream that was in a forest and then in an old house with a library in the attic

5. Is there anything you can do that seems to make having a dream more likely?
Don't go to the toilet before bed. Eat cheese. And chicken. works like a charm

Who hasn't?! One time I dreamt that Ash was drowning, and I was Misty, and Brock was like "I saved Ash last time, so you have to save him".

LOL. They have silly dreams like riding on flying busses and then becoming pokemon and showing up to school naked or something.

Most of the songs sucked. Except for a few on pokemon 2000. They had a mad one by the B52's about the prophecy. I love that song.
