Now. to explain the rules!

This is a twelve man Tournament. Meaning the bracket is going to look a little funny. We will address that problem when we get to it. Now, for this Tournament, you will not be using your Pokemon at all. Instead, you will be using the Pokemon that you've all been dying for.

Legendaries.

Yes. You heard me right. This is ASB's first Legendary Pokemon Tournament. The way this goes down is as follows. For each level of the Tournament, there will be a Tier of Legends that are available for use.

At this moment, you are all in Tier 1. You may pick 2 Legends from Tier 1. I will post Tier 1 up and the brackets at the end of this post and you shall PM me your choices. In no way, shape or form is this me saying that you are now allowed Legendaries in your normal ASB Team. This is for the Tournament only.

As you may have expected, each battle will be 2 vs 2 (One out at a time, no Team Battle...) I understand some of you fear this may take a while, but to ensure that doesn't happen, i'll be working my hardest to ref every match. If anyone wishes to ref any match but their own, please feel free to alert me. I would not mind splitting up the labor.

I understand that different refs have different styles in which they deal with KO's. For fairness in this Tournament, I'm going to have to institute a modified rule. When the Legend reaches 0 EP-they have one last attack (because all Legends seem to be able to be beat to death in the Anime and then come out with some attack to come though.) that I'm calling the Final Strike.

Final Strike cannot be a combo attack.
Final Strike cannot be a healing move.
If you commanded three moves, and you run out of energy before you reach your last move-that last move you commanded will be your Final Strike.

That's all.

Oh. Prizes are as follows
Champion: Legendary Trophy and choice of a free evolution or 12 points
Runner Up: Dinky Trophy and 6 points.

For participating, you all get 2 points.

Now, in an effort to keep everything fair, I've assigned you all numbers randomly based on the amount of letters in everyone's TPMnames divided by 5 times 12 divided by 41. This way, no one can say I set them up to fight so-and-so.

Also. No picking 2 of the same Pokemon >> Dun wanna see two Mesprits.

No. I came prepared for this. If matches take far too long without suitable reason as to why they're being held up, I'm gonna cut people and shrink the brackets. Honestly, it does not take more than a sec to post in the Absence tower or here to notify you won't be around so I can work around that.

I know Andrew and Blade are stalling, so their match is already active in my mind.

MLG: Matches don't start until Both trainers post attacks.

lol, i think we already know which pokemon wins the popularity contest for the first pokemon used in the first round, seeing as 5 contestants (myself included) have already called out Azelfs.......poor Mesprit and Uxie......lol
