083 FARFETCH'D
This Pokemon had its own eppie in Indigo League. I kinda liked the episode, the plot was somewhat interesting and Psyduck showed its powers on this Pokemon. Farfetch'd is the only Pokemon with ' in its name. Its types are Normal/Flying and it may learn some Dark type attacks as well.

#084 - Doduo

This Pokemon was originally going to be called Dodo in the English version but people decided to try and be witty and put a 'u' in. Haha, guys. Seriously, this thing is something worthless as it is one of the few bird Pokemon that has no wings but can fly. Actually, it might have little useless wings. The two heads often bicker with each other but can switch sleeping on and off so at least one can stay alert. It's like a booby trap but not.

The three headed pokemon. It's amazing this pokemon can get anything done since you would imagine that each head would want to do it's own thing.

This pokemon is the doppelganger of the real life but extinct sea cow or the still exisiting manatee. This pokemon seemed to gain intelligence upon evolving from the hand clapping ball balancing Seel.

A really nasty looking Pokemon, it is made completely of sludge. Oddly, you find some in Celdaon City which is supposed to be really pretty...Anyways, this is a foul, awful Pokemon that doesn't get any better looking when it evolves.

90 SHELLDER

The oyster Pokemon. I wonder if people eat them like they do real oysters. We know people eat Pokemon in the Pokeverse, but I wonder if they do it the same way, alive and with a spritz of lemon. Given the size of Shellder, who knows.

#092 - Gastly

The first ever Ghost-type, it really sucked in RBY because it couldn't take down any Psychics because of its awful typing. It is generally considered a prankster and took Ash's soul on a magical journey in one episode. This Pokemon finally started kicking ass in later generations but is still overshadowed by better Ghost-types.

The evolved form of Ghastly. This is the pokemon that inadvertantly helped Ash beat Sabrina and thus win him his fourth badge

094 GENGAR
Haunter evolves to Gengar when traded. In the anime, Gengar was a part of the trio of Ghost Pokemon Ash met in the tower in Lavender Town. And in 'The Ancient Puzzle of Pokemonpolis' we saw a giant one.

#95 Onix. Onix is weird. One one hand, you have this immense badass looking rock snake capable of bitching you down with awesome strength. On the other hand, you have this rock snake that you really can't do jack crap with because its too damn BIG to do anything really intricate!

A tapir with hypnotic powers. I don't think I ever understood why its body is in two different colors. Does it stand around in the mud all the time? And why is it always smirking? Does it know something we don't?

It is a psychic pokemon that evolves from Drowzee. It hypnotis people and pokemon using the medallian that it carries (whose name escapes me at the moment).

#098 - Krabby

A little crab Pokemon, Krabby is the first crustacean Pokemon we've seen. Although not as awesome as Kingler, it still packs a punch with those little claws. Its pincers are incredibly powerful so most people just stay away from them. Ash owned one that was never seen until several episodes later where it evolved with just one battle. Gary owned a bigger one.

099 KINGLER
Yes Krabby did surprisingly well against Mandy's Exeggutor. After Krabby has evolved, Crabhammer finishes Mandy's Seadra as well. What comes to my honest opinion on this Pokemon, I don't care too much about it although it has a strength of 10,000 horsepower in its pincer.

Always genderless, this pokemon is often mistaken for a pokeball, a mistake that often causes trainers a rather nasty shock. This pokemon is often viewed in the anime as moreof a nuisance than a full character.

101 ELECTRODE

The result of evolving a Voltorb, it gets its colors reversed at this stage. Electrode is most famous for its Super Smash Brothers appearances, where it comes in the Pokeball. When it emerges, it uses Self-Destruct, dealing heavy damage to anyone in the vicinity. If you can time it right, you can pick up and throw the Electrode before it blows.

It's a walking tree that has a bunch of heads that resemble coconuts. It's a psychic/grass type.

#104 - Cubone

Cubone is known as the orphan Pokemon because it's mother is dead. However, when you breed Cubone or Marowak to get a baby one, they are still alive when you pick them up. This has led many people to ponder where the new baby Cubone gets the skull it wears since it mother is still kind of using it. There is also an awesome photoshopped picture of a "real" Cubone.

"Marowak. The Bonekeeper Pokemon. This grim figure weilds a femur as its weapon, which can be either a boomerang or a club. Upon evolving, its skull helmet becomes fused to its skin, such that even its lips and eyelids are plated with pale white bone. Vengeful creatures by nature, they will even fight from beyond the grave in efforts to defend or avenge their loved ones."

The punching pokemon named for Jackie Chan, even though Jackie Chan isn't a boxer. Hitmonchan can learn all of the elemental punches but wasn't able to make decent use of them until the 4th gen when they became physical moves and 'chan gained the new ability Iron Fist.

A large pink mass, Lickitung is known for its large tongue known to induce paralysis. The pokemon was first seen in the anime stealing food from Team Rocket before it was captured by Jessie. It almost gave her the victory in the Princess Tournament before falling to Misty's Psyduck. "LICKY!!!!"

Koff! Koff! Koffing! The 'Who's that Pokemon?' from the second anime episode. Ever since that eppie, it has had to deal with Pikachu's electric attacks. It has been quite nice at times though, remember it refused to fight Pikachu and friends in 'The Island of Giant Pokemon'. In the same Diglett episode where Ekans becomes Arbok, Koffing becomes a...

Weezing is a giant gaseous blob of poison with two heads which spews out hazy clouds of smog to block get a ways and exits. How much more of an awesome theiving pokemon can you have, Team Rockets only downfall is that they are stupid.

111 RHYHORN

A rhinoceros made of stone. Pokemon like these make you wonder how evolutionary theory would respond to the challenge. This one is probably best known for it and its evolved form, Rhydon, being stalwarts in Giovanni's team back in RBY.

The evolved form of ryhorn. It is a rock/ground type and is capable of knocking out it's enemies in one hit using horn drill.

#114 - Tangela

A Pokemon made completely of vines with little shoes. It used to not evolve but Nintendo decided to mess it up as well and give it an evolution. It is probably best known for being a Pokemon belonging to Erica and for being catchable in the field of grass right below Pallet Town. Really, it is useless. Most just dump it in the box when they catch it.

#115 Kangaskhan

One of the enigmas of the pokemon world, Kangaskhan hatches from an egg with its child already in its pouch. A situation that would have easily been fixed by giving 'skhan a prevo in gen 2, so that it wouldn't possibly come out of the egg fully evolved, but for some reason that didn't happen. The anime episode "The Kangaskhan Kid" shows that other than their young, Kangaskhan are also capable of raising humans.

Horsea is a badass Pokemon when it evolves. But as of now, its this cute looking sea horse that was actually kinda cool to see in the anime, even though it was pretty damn useless.

117 SEADRA

Horsea on steroids and with a nasty case of Rage-Face. A reasonably powerful Pokemon, one guesses, but kind of an afterthought. When King's Rock entered the series, this became the second of three forms. King's Rock has screwed up a lot of evolutionary lines.

Yes, it's true that Dragon Scale was introduced in the same generation as King's Rock, but mentioning King's Rock instead of Dragon Scale when talking about Seadra is a bit misleading. Anyway...

#118 Goldeen

Infamous for being the dud pokemon in the Super Smash Bros. series, and for being the pokemon that taught us that "water pokemon can't battle on land" in the anime. In the games though, Goldeen is just another generic fish, it's biggest contribution to the games being in the second generation when its signature move became HM07.

Staryu is a star shaped pokemon which is orange. Staryu is most famously known for being owned and used by one of the main characters Misty. Though for some reason which I could never understand is why Misty almost always used Staryu in battle when she had a bigger and better evolved form Starmie.
