The first round starts as Hepenthes unleashes green spores from his bulb, aimed for Horatio. With a small shiver, Horatie counters by speeding up the tempo, and dodging the spores, while shining in the sun by his protective Safeguard.

Pissed by his failed attempt, Hepenthes retaliates by shooting out a small seed from his bulb. The bulb rushes forwards aimed for Horatio’s head, but in a swift motion, Horatio opens his mouth and releases a stream of darkred and orange coloured flames. The seed gets burned immediately and Hepenthes screeches as the flames burn his hide.

Getting more frustrated by the minute Hepenthes wants revenge for roasting him. He collects toxic powders and sludge inside its bulb and fires it off at the defenceless Horatio who gets the full load in its not closed mouth. Thank god for safeguard.

Horatio immediately tries to stay on the advantage en Leers at Hepenthes, who gets scared for a second, but then counters the leer with Charm and Horatio abruptly stops with the leer and looks at Hepenthes with a soft glance.

Horatio has difficulty with attacking such a sweet opponent, but after shaking his head three times, he goes in for the kill, jumps up high to land on Hepenthes. Just as Horatio jumps up for his Slam, Hepenthes shoots out a seed from its bulb, instantly hurting Horatio as it sucks energy out of his body. Horatio is persistent however and slams hard onto Hepenthes.

After jumping off Hepenthes after that body slam, Horatio wants to keep up the assault and unleashes a blazing Fire Spin that traps AND scorches Hepenthes. After really getting angry, Hepenthes suddenly escapes from the fiery tornado and hits Horatio hard in the face with its thickened skull. Apparently Hepenthes was raising its defense and charging up its skullbash while in the flames.

Round three starts off and Horatio starts to summon fire in his mouth, and eventually around his entire body. The flames burn off the Leech Seed that was draining Horatio, and then he rushes forwards into Hepenthes. Hepenthes was seen creating a transparent glance over its body that protected it from burns, but not from the attack itself

Hepenthes starts swinging his leaves around, in an orderly but creative dance, boosting his attack-power. Meanwhile, Horatio dashes around the place, creating plural copies of himself.

Trying to keep it lively, Hepenthes picks out one of the many growlithe’s and rushes forwards. Still feeling confident from last round, the power Hepenthes collects is great and he crashes into a growlithe. Apparently it was the original one, as flames breeze out of it’s nose and mouth. A huge blast of fire engulfs Hepenthes as he gets blasted away by sheer force.

Hepenthes keeps up her ‘non-violent’ politics and keeps on staring, just as innocent and sweet as before. Horatio’s heart finally melts, and although he’s feeling very happy, decided to cancel his last attack out of pure respect and compassion. Hepenthes smiles to him in agreement and releases a Secret Power from his mouth. Horatio grunts as he gets hit by the attack and is pretty confused by this all.

Hepenthes starts absorbing sunlight, transferring it into useable energy. Horatio decides that this isn’t really in his advantage so prepares a counter attack. Verbally assaulting Hepenthes in all forms possible, speaking out tongues that I haven’t even heard in my life (even if it is pokemonish), which agitates Hepenthes immensely. He does seem to manage and finish his healing.

Angered by the Swagger, Hepenthes cannot control himself and rushes forwards in a vicious leap. The relaxing growlithe was hit hard when Hepenthes unleashes a frustration attack.

Still unable to control his anger, Hepenthes shoots out a beam of pure white, which gets ingulfed by an incoming Flamethrower from Horatio. The two assaults reach their targets and make a huge impact, respectively. Hepenthes is to angered to notice her condition.

All the growlithe unleash a combined Flamethrower attack that heavily hurts Hepenthes. Hepenthes however releases its last bit of energy and shoots out two coloured leaves that hit the real Horatio dead on, making his copies disappear.

Hepenthes then falls down in total exhaustion, a sitting duck for Horatio. Horatio powers up his energy, collects all the damage done to him before and unleashes his attack, bouncing back Hepenthes as his head-on tackle attack hurt it badly.

While Hepenthes is stripped off all energy Horatio takes its aim and fires a super effective flamethrower at the unmoving target. The flames were so hot that the poor Ivysaur got burned. After that Horatio also lost his strength and fell to the ground, exhausted.

Both pokemon are too tired to fight and have to rest for a bit, regaining some of their energy. Hepenthes however is good to go, or he thinks, and prepares himself for battle again.

While Horatio is still taking a rest, Hepenthes dances around, throwing his leaves in different directions, ‘cutting’ through the air. He’s revived, powered up and ready to go; although battered.

While Horatio is putting up his final efforts to regain energy, Hepenthes goes in for the kill and rushes over, surrounded a shiny, white ‘power-up’ kind of mode. He makes contact with Horatio’s body and sends if flying. The poor pup digs and flees underground while Hepenthes relaxes for a bit.

Hepenthes’ relaxing moment is over quickly as Horatio reappears on the surface after hitting Hepenthes from below ground. As a counter-action, Hepenthes rushes over with his Double-edge again and strikes Horatio so hard that it faints. Unfortunately, the attack was too much for Hepenthes and it fainted as well, due to its own injuries.

Theo de Veren, the male absol, immediately starts tossing around filthy words and gestures. Aiyana starts to get irritated, but closes her eyes and starts a pitch-high howl. The sound and closing eyes render the taunt useless, but also boost Aiyana’s attack.

Pissed by the failed attack, Theo powers up a Chargebeam, which hits Aiyana head on. The defenceless Aiyana then turns her head to the sun and starts howling again. This time, the sun comes out, shining as brightly as your father’s bald head.

Both pokemon now leer at eachother, wanting to taste some flesh. Absol strikes first, with a well-placed-super-effective Water Pulse, which knocks Aiyana off balance. Aiyana however, isn’t in the mood to play dead and counters with a boosted Sludgebomb off her own. The big purple orb of liquid venom strikes Theo hard, and poisons him in the process.

Aiyana immediately starts plotting the worst of death scenarios for Theo, while Theo himself is just sitting down, starting at the sun. The sun suddenly disappeared and made room for dark grey clouds, which began to leak, like a sponge.

Not noticing the rain, Aiyana unleashes a Flamethrower attack, that catches Theo of guard, but the rain softened the attack. Most willing to return the favour, Theo powers up and shoots three circles of concentrated water at the fire-dog. It collides with her soft, hot fur and makes a destructive impact.

Aiyana gets back up after the watery assault and spits out another toxic goo-attack that hits Theo in the face. Already poisoned, Theo makes a sour face and spits it out before calling to the heavens and releasing a huge, well-aimed Thunder attack on the defenceless Aiyana.
