Well I'll be entering my poems, works that have been done for a long time, and even things that are right off the top of my head, just whatever comes to my mind at the time. I hope everyone here likes what I write, contructive criticism and reviews welcome ^_^

Might as well give my first entry, which will be a poem about my favorite pokemon, see if you can guess who it is.

Wings as strong as steel flutter as it strikes it's foe
Without remorse it attacks and fades away
From the shadows come glimmers of red, now theres no where to go
A streak in the dark that attacks its prey
Striking when theres no chance to win
Knowing that it cannot be beat
Its as dark and fierce as the first sin
And can knock any opponent off it's feet
Nothing can defeat this swift and powerful pokemon
Exfept the burning embers of a fiery sort
When facing it, only one thing can be done
But hope and pray fighting is its last resort

Well its not that great, but I hope you guys like it. Hope you can guess my favorite pokemon with the hints in the poem ^_^

Pokemon poetry? Interesting. You've missed a few apostrophes and wrote "Exfept" instead of "except", but overall I think the images were quite clear.

I've moved it to the main forum, as it is a thread intended for actual pieces of writing rather than just a discussion.
