Don't you dare start with me because you are the person who has already stolen 2 of them. While I was writing up grand reports on some of my favourite/more interesting pokemon you write 2 lines of nonsense and STEAL THEM. So don't even compare Slowpoke to Seaking.

161 Sentret

The first of the Ratata clones, it is a pretty useless pokemon and the only reason I ever got one was to evolve it into a furret because they looked cute.

Of course I could have stated in the rules a way to reserve a Pokemon but I'm not sure if that would have worked either. And I think it's too late for changing the rules now since we're already at GSC.

162 FURRET
Looks a lot cooler than Sentret in my opinion. But if you evolve your Sentret earlier, there's the usual problem that you can enjoy attacks like Rest and Hyper Voice a little later. By the way, if I'm not mistaken, Sentret may evolve relatively early. Maybe it could have a third form in the later games but that's something Sentret haters wouldn't like, perhaps.

#163 Hoothoot

A rather boring uncreative name, for a fairly interesting pokemon. GSC like every other generation gave us a generic bird, but its generic bird is one of the few pokemon that is exclusively nocturnal. Hoothoot can only be found at night during generations 2 and 4. Not that exciting yes, but a nice twist for an otherwise generic bird.

164 Noctowl

This is probably the first pokemon to be seen in its shiny form, and was one of the pokemon who liked to outsmart Ash in the series when is was trying to be captured. But all round Noctowl is still nothing more then the Pidgeot clone of G/S.

165 LEDYBA
I like ladybirds and this one is not an exception. It's so freaking cute. It feels good in swarms and doesn't move an inch when found alone. I didn't find TPMers with Ledyba in their names but its evolution has its name in some TPMers' names...

166 LEDIAN

As part of the effort to make day/night important, GS split up its equivalents to Caterpie/Weedle into a day group and night group. Ledian is the evolution of the "day" insect, but sadly it's a complete chump in comparison to its "night" counterpart.

#167 Spinarak

Jynx isn't the only pokemon to have gone through a color change. Spinarak had a dark blue and purple sprite in Gold and Silver, but became green in subsequent versions. Not sure why they did that though. My only guess was that the dark sprite in GS was a goof-up. Like Hoothoot, Spinarak is nocturnal.

#168: Ariados.

Ariados is a badass. Have you seen what it does in Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia. Its vicious, an Spider Web is no slouch of a move. For a time, it was the only other Mean Look type trapping move back then. Cooler too.

169 Crobat

The First of the new evolutions line, Crobat is the final evolution of Zubat. Even though it does evolve from Golbat rather then getting larger it actually gets smaller yet more powerful.

#170 Chinchou

Chinchou was one of my favorite second-gen pokemon in the run-up to the Gold and Silver release. I liked its looks and unique type combo. To this day, Chinchou and its evolved form, Lanturn, remain the only pokemon to have the Water/Electric typing. Not only that, but they are also the only Electric dual-types that have Electric as the second type rather than the first.

171 LANTURN
Lanturn's light shines beautifully in depths of ocean. If you don't evolve your Chinchou its HP doesn't rise too fast, as usual. In Diamond and Pearl, Lanturn can be found wild in Route 220 but you must have Super Rod.

172 Pichu

Undoubtedly one of the cutest pokemon to grace the pokemon games, being the pre evolved form of Pikachu Pichu seems quite inexperienced with the use of electricity and may damage itself. it was also a playable character in the Super Smash Bros Melee game.

173 CLEFFA

It's got a pretty uncreative name, I'll give it that much. It sort of looks like cotton candy that's begun to go stale. Nevertheless it's just another excuse to make Pokemon even cutesy-er. It eventually will become Clefairy if you spend enough battery life on it, and give it a full restore every time it loses a hit point, get it haircuts, feed it, etc. etc. A Level 100 Cleffa would beat the hell out of a Level 2 Groudon... technically. Just a funny mental image. If Pokemon were real, Cleffa would be such a waste of time.

174# IGGLYBUFF!!

Deep within the depths of the minds of sadistic character analysis, someone thought it was a brilliant idea to make an already mediocre Pokemon line the most hideous thing on earth. So, not only do they give this Pokemon line a pre-evo, they also decide to give it fugly large eyes,and a infant that just been crapped out of an ass look, complete with a supercurl strand of hair

I HATE Igglybuff with a passion and it deserves to be mutilated to the fullest degree ><! I have not enough words to express my hate for this creature, let move on to.....

#175 Togepi

Togepi holds the distinction of being the first second-gen pokemon to be introduced, but that was before most people knew there would be a second generation, which led to some confusion amongst fans. There were a ton of rumors about how to get this fella back in the day. Now I'm off to go beat the Elite 4 1000 times.

Togetic is one of the most ineffective pokemon ever, it can't do anything, has no good moves and is just all round ugly I mean it looks like a chicken has swallowed another chicken with chicken pox.

For some odd reason, I always forget wether this one is of 2nd generation or 3rd generation. Its Diamond and Pearl Pokedex entries tell us about it picking food from cactus plants. It moves by skipping around. I don't know if I like it or not.

178 XATU

One of the coolest-looking Pokemon in the series, resembling ancient Incan artwork. A psychic bird that may or may not be part of a hivemind. Not too effective in battle, but serious props for the cool factor.

#179 Mareep

How should I go about describing Mareep? Should I make a baaaaad pun? Or maybe I should point out that I can't think of a better idea for an animal to be made into an electric-type than a sheep, what with the whole wool-static electricity thing. Looking at Mareep, you start to wonder things like, what the heck do rodents have to do with electricity?

180 FLAAFFY
Such a cute Pokemon, the wet dream of every Pokese...Pokemon lover. It's quite balanced when it comes to abilities, only Special Attack stands out a little. The next Pokemon will be one of those that surprised me most, I was childish back in 2001 and thought Mareep had only one evolution that was Flaaffy but then my Flaaffy evolved...

181 Ampharos

This is possibly Pokemon's first attempt at making a pokemon look like an Australian animal (Kangaroo) because even though it does evolve form a sheep it shares none of its sheepeish characteristics.

182. Bellossom

Kinda cool, I was happy to see Gloom evolve into another pure grass type. But not a hula dancing midgit. Nonetheless, pretty crafty Pokemon here, dun let the size fool you..

183 MARILL
One of the first second generation Pokemon introduced in the anime. Yes, it was referred to as a newly-found species in the first Pikachu short movie. As for my opinion, pretty poor attempt of a Water Type, there are many Water Type Pokemon that are more interesting.

#184 Azumarill

Marill was known as Pikablu to English-speaking pokefans back in the day, so would this guy be Raiblu? With Easter coming up, I guess it's appropriate that we come up to pokemon that looks like an Easter egg with bunny ears. Yeah, if Delibird was inspired by Santa Claus, it looks like Azumarill was inspired by the Easter Bunny.

185 SUDOWOODO

Sadly, the GSC answer to Snorlax is a stupid-looking stone tree that you wake up with a squirt bottle. "Petrified Forest" joke aside, I can't be nearly as fond of this one as I am of the Big S-X. There's not even another use for its wake-up tool, unlike the Pokeflute. Much like its path-blocker predescessor, Sudowoodo has a baby form, which made it into Brawl as a bigger joke than Goldeen.

186 Politoed

Politoed is a giant green frog with a stupid haircut and a weird sounding voice, they don't seem as good as Poliwrath in the game I see it as more of a stupid pokemon and really have no idea why people choose if over Poliwrath.

187 HOPPIP
A combinaton of Grass and Flying Types. A sign of spring, according to my Pokedex, (In case you have been wondering, I have a Diamond/Pearl Pokedex book) and it moves by floating in the wind. Interesting. For some odd reason, I remember a TPMer named Happy Hoppip better than many more active members and I found the member from the list as well.

188 SKIPLOOM

The names of the trio of evolutions are, of course, a play on "Hop, skip, and jump". For such a clever scheme, they are such worthless Pokemon - more Pokedex filler to use, evolve, and then stow. Notable for being one of the few Pokemon to learn the sucktastic Splash.

189 Jumpluff

A big blue ball of joy with the protruding stub covered in cotton, much like its pre-evolutionaries Jumpluff really doesn't have a big use in the game since it has pretty poor stats and not many good attacks.

#190 Aipom

This handy man (there's one of those puns I was talking about) was really a waste of space in Generations 2 and 3, but finally got an evolution in Gen 4. In Gen 4 games, Aipom can only be found in trees when they are covered in sweet honey, in the Gen 2 games, Aipom can also be found in trees, you just need to Headbutt them.

191 SUNKERN

A sunflower seed. Fairly easy to catch, although getting it to evolve required jumping through hoops. (I got lucky and nailed the Bug-Catching Contest on the first try.) Pretty unspectacular as far as the GSC-originals went. Kind of cute, though.

In one Johto eppie, we saw Team Rocket's Meowth disguised as one. It looked so ugly and was painful to watch. Sunkern evolves into this with Sun Stone.

193: Yanma

Contrary to popular belief, Yanma is pretty badass. I love the idea of a Dragonfly Pokemon, and they made him even better in the 4th Gen. Did hate how you gotta find swarms of them in D/P though.

#194 Wooper

I have a ton of these sitting in my ranch. A product of the fact that I figured the easiest way to round up a bunch of pokemon quickly would be to take multiple trips to the Safari Zone. Wooper is the first "mud-type" pokemon, that is, a pokemon that is water and ground-type. There are a ton of them now but back in Gen 2, the only ones were Wooper and it's evolved form...

195 QUAGSIRE

What used to be a cute, cuddly thing evolves into this hulking, shambling whatsit. It dies if a Grass-type so much as nudges it. Yet another in the long line of punny names, and with one letter changed, you can make "giggity-giggity" jokes.

196 Espeon

The first of the two new Eevee evolutions, Espeon evolves from Eevee by leveling up when its happiness is full. It is a really powerful psychic type which completey messes over everything else. It is also the main pokemon used by the main character in Pokemon Colosseum

[Green Lanturn]

ooh, #197 Umbreon.

The Dark Eeveelution, Umbreon is named after the dark "umbra" of the moon and is known for the colorful yellow rings adorning its black body. This pokemon is also used by Gary Oak in the anime, and defeats several of Ash's pokemon. Umbreon can onlybe attained in the game by leveling up and becoming friendly with you Eevee during the evening hours.

198 MURKROW
The unfortunate Pokemon, unfortunately this Pokemon is avoided because they say brings bad luck but fortunately it's just a supposition. The belief has some basis though, since it lures travelers into deep forests where they get lost.

I'm running out of ideas in my own game. I'm quite sure I'll still post some Pokemon but don't wonder if I leave this topic for you guys. On the other hand, now that I recognized I'm running out of ideas I may come up with even better ones.

Slowking seems to be the complete opposite of Slowbro it seems intelligent in the fact it seems it has the power of human speech and powerful psychic attacks while Slowbro seems to be stupid and slow. Slowking also appeared in the second movie.

200 WOBBUFFET

A very popuar Pokemon for the metagame, it only has four attacks but can use them well. It showed up in SSB starting with Melee, and now has a baby form, Wynaut. Few people know that it's a reference on a deceased Japanese comedian whose name escapes me - its Japanese name is taken from his catchphrase, and it often has one hand on its head, one of his trademarks.
