I agree Blade. I mean I liked it because every two rounds or so you were taken to a completely different environment, with new rules or regulations. But I'd hate to ref it!

Also I have a contest judge tryout in the works, I figure Ill start with something easy since Im a little intimidated by the reffing one atm (and Im sick, thats not helping lol). Ive got a current ref thats willing to tutor me and give me some pointers so after my judge trying Ill do a ref trying, Ill wait for the new one though so Im not halfway done with the current one and it changes XD Though because of how unpredictable my sceduale is, whenever I do become an approved ref I will mainly stick to reffing the safari zone (since the main reason I want to learn to ref is to keep the safari zone alive).

DL, can you please tell me the reasons you don't like Igglybuff?

I don't know about you, but I think letting someone have the middle stage of a Pokemon family if you don't like the earliest stage, is rather silly, and besides that, isn't that technically making an exception to the rule by allowing anyone who wants, say, a Jigglypuff to not have to acquire (or start with) an Igglybuff first?

I really hate to show my serious side here, but I just hope this "exception" doesn't apply to other Pokemon with a baby-esque pre-evolution (e.g. Clefairy, Pikachu, Mantine, Chansey, Sudowoodo, Jynix, Magmar, Electabuzz)...

Did you read the edit made to the post I made before your post notifying me of my mistake? That matter has been dealt with. My post after yours was made solely in response to the existence of Igglybuff-and how I hate it so much. But that does not interfere with the Rules and regulations here in ASB. Endy has an Iggly to start.

And no. I dun think it's too soon. People jumped on MJ one day after we heard about his child-escapades, so hell this is jumpable too.

As for my reasons of not liking Igglybuff..I'll mail you the essay...

I'm not a newbie to ASB, I've been in five forums that had an ASB. Was a ref for three of them but the expectations weren't very high.

This is the best ASB yet. So simple yet so challenging!

It might take me a while to find my own true style but that will come with practice in the field I think.

Style is all well and good, but it's more about how accurately you ref attacks. Interpretations etc all.

Yeh interpretation is pretty important, but the only way to be a good ref is to be fair and impartial in everything you do.
